Yes Clyde has to sit and listen to Alex vent about how conflicting their thoughts are. Yes Lankmann started writing in a journal again just to get his feelings about shit out and a few of the pages are just about how much he worries and cares about his workers, including Alex. Btw it's not me trying to pitch the ship or make everyone like it. I'm just explaining to ppl who have no idea wtf is going on.

Ok. Since I dedicated a whole blog to archiving my art of this two specifically, I think it's fun to explain how it even started and my insides on this ship of two characters FROM LOST MEDIA ROLE PLAY SESSIONS that NEVER MET eachother and only have 1 mention of one another. I'm pretty much playing of hoping that Jello will find it funny and just makes them interact in ee ONCE. I pretty much would happy to have that. This's a mess. Also I don't think that he's a type of author to go that mush on fandoms side but I resigned myself.

I think it might have started when I only started on writing HCD. An ee fangame "Epithet Erased hot crispy dazzling", you can find more abt in on my twt. I decided to replace the Warden's role with Meryl (not literally. She's in lockdown as a prison doctor after being demoted and acts as a boss in hcd) since I found liking to her and thought that her constantly panicking attitude but also an active position in combat (the fact that lamp rolled the biggest initiative led to her starting the combat and also her pulling out her gun when she started panicking) would be fun in prison break scenario. So, I was writing the hcd plot. We know. The ep 3 but in it turned into a freaking nonary game in the end (ep 2 of the game that I'll never make) and this tweet happened:

I was making random ac ship tweets like that for a bit. I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY. And then I ended up putting Meryl vs Dixon in hcd, similar to what Ramsey had with Zora, from characters perspective, and with Percy, from morality perspective. So, I wrote hcd draft with all of that and found their dynamic funny. Like this short cop lady bickering with this huge prisoner dude, who has a family record of juveniles and somehow, she's still the one who's likely to harm people directly, even though It's out of fear or paranoia 🤣

Since I won't commit to making separate character analysis, I'll list the things of those two that I found to be funny parallels or coincidences using comments fro original players: Oz and Lamp (source: Epithet Shrine (neocities.org)) Also yeah, we're talking the ac versions of characters since Jello probably would rewrite them in some way in the future: 1)both have anxiety problems and paranoia in some way.

2)both got working not the jobs they initially wanted

3) both keep shit in their hair for some reason 😅

and now, I'm now even fucking joking, I've made 3 scenarios, in that they would possibly have met. 1) The hcd plot.

They've met in prison and responsibilities of keeping Dixon alive got tossed on Meryl by Xerxes, who fucking gaslight them both that they've met in school. 2)that unfinished ee animation of ac ep 4.

They meet in contact room, where Meryl was giving directions to Rick, Noah and Stan and last bliss ocean officer. Dixon refused to give any more tips until we let him participate, so he's here now too. So there 4 scenes with them taking the mic from eachother and giving directly opposite hints.

3) The delusional territory. The fun one.

When they were in their 20's they used to date and Meryl was still in medical school at the time. But when she got too overwhelmed and dropped out and Dixon started to go nuts in conspiracy - they broke up. So their whole dynamic is the same but they're ex-s, so they use their memories of dating to moke eachother. Imagine having a crisis over if you're capable for your profession or not and your boyfriend goes fucking insane.

So, yeah. Here's the full dive into my hyperfixation that i got myself into after making a stupid joke abt a crack ship.

Hey Bibi! I was thinking on my ask about Sukuna and Yuuji working better as twins and another point I just thought of is isn't one of Sukuna's monikersis that he is a "God with two faces".

If the Twin theory was true, this would be literal in the narrative of the Jujutsu - Sukuna would be both himself "the king of curses" and Yuuji an extremely capable sorcerer , Sukuna's nemesis and former vessel as well as the "one chosen by the black flash."

With this theory, they would truly be two sides of the same coin.

Plus, the narrative potential of this move for Yuuji is immense - it creates more of an identity crisis for Yuuji than the "Sukuna's nephew" one does because there's more of a familial distance there so he would find it easier to double down on the hatred he feels to distance himself from Sukuna and kill him anyway.

With the twin theory, there's the parallels to Maki which I also like - I feel like she would have been perfect in supporting Yuuji with this revelation. I could see her also feeling disgusted with Sukuna's hatred as, although Maki and her had rough patches in thier relationship, she would have never done the things to her twin that Sukuna did to Yuuji.

Hmm now that I think about it I am leaning more into having sukuna and yuji be twins especially because kenjaku did say that he viewed yujis role as him coexisting with sukuna. The paneling of that manga panel also emphasises the whole same coin different sides theme that the two have going on. Sukuna being the natural menace with two faces and yuji being picked by the black flashes is such an interesting title that needs to be explored by gege.

Sometimes I do like to think that yuji is basically Jin with no wasted potential.

However, I still think it's hella interesting the relationship and rivalry they have considering that they had to share a body and their souls are quite similar. Yuji considering that his body was made due to the residual of one of sukunas fingers has way more of sukuna's similarities and all than his own father Jin itadori. Also, yuji being related to sukuna in any way would definitely cause him an identity crisis which I really want gege to explore. I also wish gege would explore itadoris thoughts behind him being half curse and being related to kenjaku (I doubt he would fully do that though).

I do remember stating in one of your asks that if sukuna and yuji were twins it would highlight their parallels with the zenin twins. I still think that the arguement somewhat stands but instead of twins it's yuji and choso being paralleled siblings with the zenin twins. There's also the fact that sukuna doesn't seem to be directly hateful concerning Jin itadori and their relationship (Jin and sukuna) could be loosely paralleled to maki and mai.

I do definitely see your point with maki being perfect to help yuji with this and to be honest I really wish that they had more screentime interacting with eachother. Whenever we see maki and itadori together they're usually up to throwing hands but it would be so much more interesting if we got a scene of them talking especially after the revelation that yuji is indeed a Kamo clan member. As you have stated if sukuna and yuji were twins maki as the older twin would definitely be disgusted at sukuna and his actions. However, I feel like she would still be disgusted at him for 1) killing tsumiki and 2) if she found that he is even related to anyone and had family.

my ramblings on penacony (and hsr as a whole) so far:

(btw i'm not done with it yet, i'm in the talent show portion. so spoilers up to there ahead)

so i just realized this like yesterday, but i think the name penacony is a play on penal colony? since it's a prison planet? this probably hasn't escaped many people, but it's pretty much australia, minus the part about there being people on the planet prior to it being seized by the ipc. hopefully. that said, this also fits very neatly with the savior complex and colonization that the ipc is so well known for, since britain was the one who sent their prisoners to australia. additionally, the ipc is very similar specifically to britain's "east india company".

i overall think hsr toes the line very well with having real world analogues to their worldbuilding.

on that note: holy shit the religious (catholic specifically) allegory is so blatant with sunday and robin i fucking love it. like his name is fucking sunday. and the confessional scene?? robin leaving the nest and her being so lesbian-coded (even the eye dots)! it's great. and singing being such a huge part of their religion? the hypocritical greedy underbelly of people who claim to be "the strong protecting the weak"? i could legit write an essay on penacony.

and don't get me started on the disnep allegory throughout the imagery, characters, and music; bc it fits so well with all of these themes, i love it.

also, another allegory i love in penacony, and big spoilers here for firefly: the trans subtext that's pretty much text. like i gotta find the voice line, but she literally talks about her mechanical body being something that the world wishes she had never left. about most of the world seeing her that way. when she tells blade she wanted "to be in this body for a little longer" i legit started tearing up. and literally when gallagher was looking for her, he said they were looking for a stowaway boy with grey hair. and sam, the body she's stuck in so often and how much of the world sees her, being referred to with he/him pronouns? i love her so much.

the stellaron hunters are overall such a beautiful found family of outcasts that i can't help but love them. honestly they're just a great parallel/foil to the nameless. kafka is similar to himeko, charming her way through situations. welt is like elio, maybe, that one's the most tenuous tho. maybe pompom is elio's foil, idk. obviously blade and dan heng are foils for one another. firefly and march 7th are parallels for eachother, in their shared transfemme themes, but in their likeability they're foils (sorry for the slight march hate, but being trans doesn't make you exempt from being annoying). and as for the trailblazer, they were kind of in both groups.

ARGONUS INFO: a guide on the other flora and fauna

[also, this was at a time i used to claim that plants were 4X bigger. i decided later on to make it 3.5X bigger like the rest of the lifeforms because it was way easier. nowadays, the "3.5X scale" is just a rough guide to how large the fauna is.]

unlike the previous two guides with the elkinets and the aeronoids, this one is a little shorter and more simple.

    planet argonus is a copy-planet, also known as a copycat planet or a parallel planet. these planets copy another planet's features, often right down to lifeforms and geography. however, each copy planet's lifeform tend to have some kind of weird evolutionary quirk going on. the most common of cases is generally manipulating what's already there, such as size, shape and color. and argonus tends to be the prime example of that. not only are the lifeform's bigger in their dimensions (i.e. 3.5x taller/longer), but vertebrates are also got more going on than size.     of course, it's not that they're only just copies of our plants and animals (both extant and extinct). there are a plethora of lifeforms unique to argonus. most of the time these lifeforms aren't too distantly related nor too highly derived from other existing ones on our planet. at the most distantly related, they'll belong to the same taxonomical superorder as their relatives, though it is more common to have them share the same genus or family.

PLANTS & FUNGUS     lets start simple enough; the plants are 3.5x the size of our own. despite the planet and flora being bigger, the amount of oxygen is still comparable to that of earth's (as well a gravity and such).

INVERTABRATES     invertebrates, like bugs, crustaceans and mollusks, are 3.5x bigger than earth's, much like all other animals her on argonus. the invertebrates, apart from their size, don't really have much going for them. they, like the plants, are just regulars-looking invertebrate that are bigger.

VERTABRATES     this is where argonus get's its notoriety as a copy-planet. like the invertebrates, they're also 3.5x bigger, however that's not all that's going on. they also have the following:

-four eyes: their main pair and a second, smaller pair below them. both upper and lower eye sockets are connected to each other. although the pairs can move independently from each other, usually only one pair will move while the other doesn't or follows directly in suit (ie lower pair looks right, upper pair stares strait or also looks right). their sight is only slight better because of the extra eyes.

-four earholes: they share both the same hole and the same eardrum. similar with the eyes, it's only slightly better, if not completely the same as their earth's counterpart

-extra limbs: specifically, they have an extra set of forelimbs. some argonain vertebrates will have a slightly longer spine to accommodated the extra limbs they have. humans, when first encountering the argonian fauna, initially though the extra limbs made them faster than their earth counterpart when in reality it actually because their bigger size allows them to do so. when walking, their forelimbs move in sync so as not not have it a tripping hazard.

extra other stuff: if an animal has any horns, canines, tusks, etc.., then often the argonian version will have double that. some argonian animals will also keep certain ancestral traits (ie whales with vestigial hind limb or modern horses with three-toed hooves like mesohipus). sometimes, one group will share certain traits with eachother (ex. all perissodactyls have a long-ish tail, including short-tailed/tailless taxons)

those are just the really basics of it when talking about the vertebrates as a whole. however, each class has its own unique look to them when looking at what vertebrates on argonus have.

mammals     the mammals are often used as a good example of showing those extra ears. while their four eyes may not be as free-moving, the ears are. if a mammal on earth has independently-moving ears, then there's a good chance their argonian version has all four doing the same. this gives them a slightly better range of hearing, being able to pick up sounds from different direction.

reptiles     all reptiles have a single line of noticeable spikes going down their back. these spikes can appear however they want, but are usual thin and pointy. these spikes are also present in non-mammalian synapsids and most archosaurs as well (the only archosaurs that don't have spikes are birds and pterosaurs). turtles also have spikes on their head and neck, but not on their shells.

birds     an interesting thing about the birds is that their first pair of forelimbs are arm while the second pair are wings. all birds still have a singular finger on their wings, which can be used for sparing or climbing. their arm's usages tend to vary from species to species. one of the more common usages is to simply hold onto items, such as food or nesting material. there arms can also serve similar function as their hind limbs, such as swimming or holding onto branches. in some taxons, the birds are quadrupedal, using their arms as a literal second pair of legs. quadrupedal birds dont gallop, but rather pace when they run. some of the major ones include ratites, gamefowl, waterfowl, flamingos, bustards, and cariamiformes. however, smaller taxon can also be quadrupedal.

-like alot of copy-planet fauna, the animals here have what's known as the "argonus genes", a copy-planet gene that not only gives the lifeforms their unique look but also keeps it relatively consistent. this gene can be combined with any lifeform with earth-origins to create an argonian version of it (called a sub-argonian). removal of the argonus gene will make the lifeforms evolve into any weird/crazy forms, going outside of what made the argonian fauna consistent with what they're copying. many scifi media take inspiration from this, with the common reason for the removed genes being along the lines of radiation.

So i just finished episode 11 and, again, so much things to say!

Well first things first, the whole Tawan thing... Is it an unpopular opinion to say that was the moment I fell in love with Vegas? Like, sure, he betrayed Porsche and almost got him killed. But watching him masterfully fucking over Tawan, the same way Tawan did to Kinn at that, was the most satisfying, delightful thing ever, real poetic cinema, I was giggling the whole time especially during the Vegas-Tawan flashback. And so I decided from them on that Vegas was completely redeemed in my eyes no matter what he does next, this legend deserves it. (I would have loved seeing more of Kinn and Porsche talking to and about Tawan to have closure, tho, maybe even them killing him together?)...And Vegas' relationship with Pete? I knew they were going to be a thing and I was very confused at how the hell it would happen bc I really couldn't see Vegas softening up for a cute innocent boy like Kinn and Kim did, since he is a sadistic sociopath, but turns out Pete is masochist sociopath so they were actually made for eachother lol. Their relationship is so fucked up and I love it.

A little word about Big too. I was not prepared for his ending, that was so tragically sad and a good way to parallel his love for Kinn and how selfless it was actually was, compared to the love Tawan and Vegas pretened to have for their targets. Sacrificing himself simply because he could not bear to see Kinn heartbroken again? Wow.(altho it was a bit weird like how the hell did no one wear bulletproof jackets???) He deserved to be talked about more afterwards, I felt like he was forgotten pretty quickly (especially by Kinn who did seem affected at first) :(

Porschay's first reaction, instead of being "WTF YOU'RE WORKING FOR THE MAFIA AND DATING THE BOSS WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED????", actually being "I am scared of losing you :(" completely melted my heart, what a pure soul. So I love Kim but he will pay for hurting my son like that! (I hope Porsche is gonna put on his Big Brother Pants and beat his ass).

I also have some thoughts about the situation they're in now, as in Porsche becoming Kinn's Official Boyfriend. As much as I was relieved by the father's reaction and found the scene so cute (with the bodyguards rooting for them aaawww, and again with the Porsche-mafia-lord agenda, he quickly earns people's loyalty and affection!), I don't think this arrangement can last in the long term? Porsche did seem uncomfortable at first, and I highly doubt our fiery, free-spirited Porsche would be happy to settle as a Trophy Boyfriend with even less controle over situations he had as a bodyguard, and completely dependant on someone else (especially with his little brother in the balance, like what happens to them if he ever wants to break up???). I don't think he says anything right now bc he loves Kinn so much and, like he told Porchay, he does not want to leave people behind, but he probably won't be able to keep up long. And with the revelation that this same family played a part in his parents' death? Yeah, something is gonna clasch for sure (and I'm here for some good angst!). And Tankhum is shown as being increasingly an active part of the Family, and way more perceptive and responsible that other people give him credit for, but also as being a caring brother (the way he was so happy for Kinn and instantly adopted Porschay and made him feel welcome aawww). It makes me wonder if he's not gonna take on the leadership role again so that Kinn can leave the Family behind and run off in the sunset with Porsche, open up a bar on the beach and all that. On one hand, I would be happy with that ending and I do think it would be a good evolution for both Kinn and Porsche and their relationhsip, but on the other hand...I really really want to see Porsche thrive into the mafia world!!! After everything, he deserves to have more controle in the game!! And the potential of Kinnporsche Iconic Mafia Power Couple? Unmatchable!!! So yeah I'm conflicted lol.

Ok I FULLY know what you mean about being on board with Vegas during the Tawan storyline. Like he is deliciously manipulative and evil in that storyline and I was down for it too. Tbh I was intrigued by Vegas from ep 7 on (prior to ep 7 I was very eh about him). But he has a magnetism to him that feels dangerous at all times and I really like that. And of course seeing that bastard Tawan being manipulated in the same way he manipulated Kinn was just *chefs kiss*. Honestly that moment when Vegas kisses his forehead (I think?) I screeched at my screen, 'omg he's going to kill him' and then... well, it was his intent anyways. It was brutal and I dug it.

I agree everything with Kinn and Porsche when it came to Tawan was lacking. Again I think that was because a number of storylines were being jammed in and it made the pace something that didn't allow for the same space and time to breathe as the season up to that point had. So that was definitely not as satisfying to me as it could have been.

Soooooo many people were so mad that Big was basically forgotten. It was another sacrafice of the rushed pace at this point in the season imo. I'm glad they at the very least made it clear Kinn was affected by Big's death, because yeah, that was tragic af and I really loved that they had him go out that way. It honestly made Big a lot more interesting and have a lot more depth (than being the jealous bully he was in the beginning of the season) and I really appreciated that. Also the bulletproof vests comment akdjfasldkfjasf. I KNOW. Just... look away from logic fallacies in the show when it comes to that lolol. It was made worse by the fact that Tawan WAS wearing a bulletproof vest lmao. The worst.

Oh god that scene with Porchay and Porsche is so lovely. I truly love their relationship and Porchay really is the sweetest, purest soul. Kim definitely needs to get smacked around for hurting that bub. But he knows it too. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on BAMF Kim btw as the season wraps up because HE MADE MY LIFE.

Ok your thoughts about Porsche being a 'boyfriend' only are so on point and that is exactly how I felt too. Like yes, it was super sweet to see him actually get to be out in the open with his relationship with Kinn and for them to be official, but in no way did I ever see Porsche being satisfied with the role of boyfriend only. I think you will be satisfied with where things go because your comments are soooooo true to Porsche's character and where they were headed with the narrative. So kudos to you for that. I'm not gonna say too much more because I'm not sure how quickly you'll finish the season but just... you seriously have things so correctly laid out lol.

Omg I'm so glad you got to see that hospital clip in that case. I'm happy to share! It's such a soft, sweet, and necessary clip and I'm so glad they gave it to us when it wouldn't have fit into the ep. I honestly wish they had given a lot more of those side story clips. I think they could have made up for what was missed in the rushed pace at the end of the season if they had. But I also don't know what that would have meant for budget so... shrug I guess.
