In an earlier post, I listed the evidence pointing towards the one and only metallic noodle clown as being some robot form of neurodivergent. I have since dubbed this as "bot-tism."

(The Sonic half of my brain argues an episode of Aosth touching upon this concept and calling it "mechanically challenged." Egh.)

Since we're taking April, I finally finished this sketch from a while ago.

I made a whole render of it for reference and everything, but I ended up drawing over the limbs and stuff anyway.

It is actually a redraw from 2020! Blech the messaging is so blatant.

As you can clearly see, this was drawn and posted when I killed the part that cringes.

I left the new and improved version textless and up for interpretation, but if you want my exact thought process, then see below the cut, because I don't wanna ruin the fun for anyone else.

The 2020 drawing was the first instance of me using Ennard's mask as a metaphor for "masking." Although not used directly in a ND sense, but for an internal struggle nonetheless.

Ennard’s desire to be human, and the ambiguity of how his mind even works is a perfect metaphor for a number of neuro types.

The former can be interpreted as many NDs struggle of being treated differently than NTs in a social setting. Like I said in the previous post, they only wear their mask when they know they're being perceived, and when he does finally get his skin suit, it only lasts for a week before it fails him. Burnout.

"But oh! Silly goose, why don't you just be yourself?" The neighbors reactions to the skin suit deteriorating. The entire point is that they need look/act "normal" to be treated like a human.

The latter can be interpreted to how many NDs have so many differing brain signals than a NTs, that they aren't even aware of.

To add on to the other post, Fnaf 6 seems to characterize Molten Freddy/Scrap Baby as if they were mindless entities that must be destroyed, hence "burn it" in the 2020 drawing. This bled into a whole different interp of Ennard as more animalistic than he really is. It wasn't widely used, but it was noticeable enough for 14-15 y/o me to draw about it. This to me is a lot like what I said prior about masking and looking "normal." This interp seems to paint him from an unknowing observers point of view. 'How dare you visually emote with your hands' or, 'how dare you get stressed out over the complexity of sound or light, weirdo.' You know. Which is probably my injustice sensitivity typing up paragraphs backing up a fictitious robot.

The latest version has his mask removed voluntarily, while covering his face his with his own hand. The mirrors are now silly mirrors, the floor is a spiral, and the reflections remain of himself, but also of his components, and another character of importance on the far left. (It's a bloodied Michael hand.)

He voluntarily unmasks, only to be surrounded by distorted reflections of himself. The Funtimes can represent the many oddities of his mind, and the aforementioned bloodied Michael hand can represent the damage that can be done to yourself or others if you dont take the accountability and measures to learn your own boundaries.

Also the irony that the horror clown character endures how a horror clown character would torment their victim.

The true message: Unmasking is a process.

Not related to DRDT, But I saw in your pinned post you like FNAF. If you haven't answered this before, which FNAF game is your favorite? Or who is your favorite animatronic/character? I like fnaf1 foxy :)

Yee FNAF! I might not talk about it here much, but it is the fixation that Always Comes Back for me, so I’m glad to have an excuse to ramble about it :D

Favorite game is a bit complicated because I haven’t played all of them (my computer couldn’t handle the FLAF demo it is not running Security Breach), but depending on the day, it’s one of FNAF 1, Sister Location or Help Wanted.

FNAF 1 gets a ton of nostalgia points, the atmosphere is immaculate, and the little story it has is fantastic, though without as much complexity as later entries.

Sister Location is horrible on the replayability department… except I count the Custom Night DLC as part of the game, and that’s pretty fun. The game itself is fine on a first play through, has pretty good atmosphere, and (in my opinion) beats FNAF 1 in terms of self-contained story, themes and narrative weight, wider lore and character building. Night 5 is (in my opinion) one of the best written segments of any FNAF game, both Real and Fake ending.

Help Wanted also beats FNAF 1 in terms of self-contained story (those tapes are genuinely an awesome evolution of the Phone Guy concept), and the introduction of Vanny is genuinely captivating (regardless of how much they fumbled her in later entries), but it also added certain elements to the overall plot that I don’t quite like the ramifications of (even if I tend to ignore the “in-universe games” debacle, I dislike what it represents for theorizing). In gameplay it’s generally better than SL, but it’s not as charming as FNAF 1. Though I feel my opinion of it would change if I could actually play it in VR, but alas, that is not my situation.

It’s hard for me to pick between those, frankly. Probably Sister Location though, I just like the characters too much…

What shit I forgot Into the Pit. Yeah no it’s Into the Pit probably. Even accounting for recency bias the game’s insanely peak lol. Still gonna leave those other three there, for posterity xD

Speaking of liking SL characters; Baby and Puppet are my favorite animatronics, though admittedly that’s more of an extension of my favorite characters being Charlie and Elizabeth (that order). Btw, FNAF 1 Foxy is a very good and solid pick, I respect it :D

I genuinely think Baby in Sister Location has an argument for best written character of the entire franchise bar maybe Movie Mike, and I am willing to defend that take. A ruthless killer born of horrible circumstances, yet compassionate at heart (see: the very fact she chose to form Ennard instead of leaving with Michael’s body on her own, “the scooper only hurts for a moment” line), in her eyes betrayed by those she saved because of being… well, a child.

Shame her character got absolutely assassinated in FFPS. Unless she was trying to manipulate William. I know it’s not ever even remotely suggested, but I genuinely would have no (serious) complaints about Baby’s character if that’s what she was going for in the “I will make you proud” speech.

As for Puppet, old fan favorite for a reason. It was always a standout of the cast, which obviously meant I loved them, and the exploration of its personality in UCN in particular is pretty cool. To be clear, my enjoyment of Charlie as a character is based on highly specific interpretations of certain lines, but when literally 90% of the story is up to interpretation, I feel that’s not too surprising.

In particular, taking Charlie as a deeply regretful person, who realized how badly she fucked up by reviving the children only after dozens of night guards had been killed and they’d already been trapped for years, with possibly hundreds of deaths on her hands, just trying to make things right again. And, just, so, fucking, tired, by the time Lefty happens (see: Lefty UCN lines). And don’t even get me started on the angst potential of being tortured by her supposedly loving father in the Bear Torture Contraption, the mistakes of her past haunting her because Henry sees her as the bloodthirsty night guard killer that no longer exists (see: she doesn’t attack Michael in FNAF 3), and hearing that he wants to “save her now” as she burns half-alive. Etcetera.

Again, hyperspecific. But I like it, so.

For the sake of completionism:

My favorite Silver Eyes character is probably Elizabeth/Adult Charlie/Baby (why is this character so hard to refer to).

Favorite Frights character is probably Eleanor. She’s just so sassy and girlfailure and somewhat intriguing she’s fantastic (or, at least, better than other Frights characters in my books).

Favorite Steel Wool Era character is Gregory if he dropped the elevator and probably Vanessa if he didn’t (I wonder what that says about me lol).

Favorite Mega Cat games character is Oswald (not that many to pick from tbf).

Favorite movie character is Mike. Just a really amazing spin on the already solid basis of Michael Afton.

Favorite Interactive Novels character is Ralph (is it cheating if I mainly like him cuz he’s Phone Guy?).

And… do I really not like any character from Tales? I don’t remember almost any of the stories very well, but I guess if I’d liked the characters enough, I’d remember them.

Since I don’t care about Edwin for now, I guess the Mimic is the only real option, but I’m not the biggest fan. I have hope Secret of the Mimic will sway me to actually caring about the guy, though! I’m already enjoying what we have of Jackie, because in case it wasn’t obvious by the fact I picked Eleanor over Jake or Larson, I kinda enjoy the fucked up clown women quite a bit! Mimic will never be Ennard, but he can get close, and there’s worse things to be than worse-Ennard.

This blog is for Ennard and takes place before Pizzeria simulator! Because of that, there are no Security Breach/pizzeria simulator characters! However any characters from Fnaf 1-Fnaf 5 are here!! (dont ask how the funtimes r here. i like them so theyre here.)

What can you tell us about Noah?

CW: Drugs, Alchol, hallucinations, One time i found out that some of my tiktoks had been uploaded onto pintrest and people were confused who Noah was and someone explained saying that Noah was the human name of Ennard and people were shipping him with Glitchtrap and i just stared at it confused about why people would even do that-

ANYWAY Noah Porter is the name of my glitchtrapped oc, he's straight up doomed by the narritive! Chronically unable to take things seriously he's suffering under the working conditions at the pizza plex as a life promised to him prior is quickly turning sour and he's scraping for rent and thus turning to a whole world of coping with your issues by parting, drinking and taking ilicit drugs!

accidentally stumbing himself into a friendship with the security guard who seemingly hates the job just as much as he does he's accidentally gone and got a bunny inserted into the brain! he doesn't actually know he's glitchtrapped for a long while, he's feeling fantom bodily sensations that are just, inhuman? he's able to shake it off, he interprets some of them as a lesson to not buy from certain people again and others are just weird desires. Peircings, tattoos, something to fill that itch in the back of his head. He's not really thinking about whats wrong with him untill he can't shake off that goopy looking black rabbit monster he keeps on seeing in the corners of his eyes, but even then who is he going to tell huh?

He's actually still in the dark about Vannys actions, he just thinks that this is all company revenge, even after meeting William properly he's goaded into thinking that the rumors about child murder were just not real. even though he might be setting up the dominos with his managerial powers of editing the guest data, scanning parties, setting up mechanic visits.

it's waaaay too late in the game that Noah realises that he's actually fucked over his life and he helped Vanny murder, at best he's an accomplice to a crime where the story sounds so outlandish it's not even worth explaining at worst, he's realising that William is fully trying to intergrate with him but he's interpreting peircings and tattoos as the metal stuck in williams corpse and the springlock scars on his body. Noah doesn't take it well, he kind of gives up, goes mad about how he's gone and thrown his life away and lowers himself to vannys level, because aren't they friends? they're ment to have fun together, right? one last party....

Personally it always seemed the Funtimes, other than Circus Baby, were running on AI. I think it's an interesting contrast to the possessed animatronics, but honestly it's left open to interpretation I think. A ship in your AU with your versions of FTFreddy and Michael would be really cute and full of depth! All it takes is transparency with who/what FTFreddy is! It's your AU, so you get to define the rules and have some fun.

That was my initial thought as well, but it seems that a lot of fnaf lore is up to interpretation a lot of the time. However, I feel that playing it safe would be the best option. (Like okay example time: i can't ship michael and ennard bc even tho ppl go out of their way to let you know that Baby isn't apart of them it still feels too weird for me. So i can see why people would be weirded out by the funtimes being paired up with anyone especially if they subscribe to them being posessed by children. )

Besides, ft freddy and Michael developing a really strong familial bond through their shared trauma is still an incredibly valid and sweet alternative!

Michael is the son of William Afton, twin brothers with Red, and has two younger siblings: Elizabeth and Crying Child. He is the older brother in FNaF 4, Eggs Benedict in Sister Location, and the guard in FFPS. Thanks to Officialverse shenanigans, he was brought back to “life” and now lives in the Officialverse with his family and loved ones.

Red

23, Trans Man, he/him, biromantic, asexual

Fraternal twins with Michael, Scott goes by the nickname “Red” to avoid confusion. He actually came from an AU, and angsts over the fact that he “wasn’t meant to exist”. He’s very overprotective of his brother and really enjoys playing Pokemon. Also has glitch powers, but hardly ever uses them. Red is a Phone Guy, but not to be confused with PG!!!

Ennard

Age Unknown, Genderfluid, he/him they/them or she/her, pansexual

Originally the robot that inhabited Michael, Ennard was recently struck with anon magic that turned her human, and he seems to be permanately this way. Their personally tends to be all over the place due to being made of four different robots, but “mischevious” always seems to describe him well. She’s in a queerplatonic relationship with Michael.

Sasha Catter “Beans” Afton-Cawthon

Michael’s cat! Also lives with Scott, hence the same last name. She was adopted from a shelter.

Important people in Mike’s life!

Family

William Afton/Springtrap/Scraptrap: Michael’s father and antagonist of the series. There are numerous Williams in the Officialverse, and Michael doesn’t seem to favor any particular one.

Mrs. Afton: Michael’s mother. Jennifer in Michael’s timeline, though he loves any interpretation of Mrs. Afton

Red: Michael’s twin brother, explained above.

Crying Child: Michael’s younger brother. Anthony in Michael’s timeline, though he loves any interpretation of Crying Child and always tries to make up for his mistakes.

Elizabeth/Baby: Michael’s younger sister. He’s forgiven Baby for the events of SL and FFPS and still loves her as a sister.

Henry: Basically adopted Michael since William is a terrible father. There are multiple Henries in the Officialverse and Michael doesn’t seem to favor any particular one.

Jack Kennedy has been adopted as a brother to Mike and Red, and they treat each other like family.

Dave Miller is Jack’s husband, making him Michael’s brother-in-law.

Henry Miller is a stinky piece of shit who adopted Dave Miller and tried to adopt Mike and Red too but he’s just- he’s a stinky!!!

Significant Others

Michael is polyamorous, so he can have multiple partners at once!

Sammy Lawrence: Michael has been dating Sammy for a few months now, and are unafraid to admit their love for each other. Mike wants to propose, but he’s still struggling to even get a ring.

Scott/Animdude: Both Michael and Scott have admitted to loving each other, live together, and certainly act very romantic around each other, though I’m pretty sure they STILL never made it official despite totally being boyfriends.

Phone Guy: Michael and PG have a thing for each other, and have gone on dates before, though this is merely the PG from Michael’s timeline, and does not have an Officialverse counterpart, so their relationship is pretty non-existant on this blog.

Oh, Michael is also extremely gay for Percy.

BFFLS

Ennard: Explained above, Michael and his Ennard are in a Queerplatonic relationship. For other Ennards in the Officialverse, Michael treats them as if they were a sibling.

Charlie Emily: Charlie and Michael grew up together, and have remained best friends this whole time. True wlw mlm solidarity.

Shawn Flynn: … Okay no they’re not friends. Actually Shawn is Michael’s enemy after Ink Stains(see below), and they hate each other… though, Michael is extremely empathetic to Shawn’s suffering.

Events!

These events are either ongoing or have happened in the past and left a lasting impact on Michael

Ink Stains: An event run by Drew Studios in which Shawn Flynn is the antagonist, using ink to corrupt everyone into a hivemind-like state. Michael along with a few others have banded together to reverse the effects and return everyone to normal.

Wandering is a Terrible sin: The aftermath of ink stains, in which Sammy and Michael attempt to find Joey while Shawn plots again.

The Joy of Creation: An au ran with Animdude, following the events of The Joy of Creation: Story Mode. Never finished!(If you just want art and general content!)

Mike and Scott go to Hell: Scott gets killed, goes to lakeside hell, Michael goes after him, feels ensue.

Human!Ennard: Ennard gets turned human for an m!a… turns out that ended up becoming permanent.

Family au: An au where Michael gets a twin brother, a fellow Phone Guy named Scott. … Then I gave Scott the nickname “Red” and now he’s a permanent member of the blog. WHOOPS.
