i like to think that hassel befriends caine simply bc hes so fascinated and wants to know the inner workings of the circus and also just how advanced caine is as an AI. sure the friendship started out as one-sided and an attempt to get information n maybe to find an exploit of some sort but it soon becomes a real, genuine friendship.

The last time guys showed up on the island with guns, you didn't have any (*S&P whispering*) stun-sticks pointed in your face, or get menaced by a man holding a (*whisperwhisper*) crossbow just out of frame, or realize that the guy you thought was friendly was actually a dangerous stranger as he picks up a ten-inch-knife (*looks over expectantly, blinks in surprise*) and talks to you while holding it in the same frame.
#because apparently that last one is acceptable in children's programming I guess it's because the knife never actually pointed at him#the point is that the split in the party here is great because it runs along the lines of who they got paired with in the last run#darius yaz and sammy spent half a day being marched through the jungle at...not-legally-gunpoint...#they had weapons on them for HOURS and GUESS WHAT that may have been a TEENSY BIT TRAUMATIZING#that gave them just a few minor issues regarding how much they trust strangers!#especially because they were the ones who trusted them first!#kenji and brooklynn felt like they had good instincts and then learned that they were wrong to distrust Hap#so now they've got SURVIVOR'S GUILT because they DIDN'T TRUST HIM#and Ben was there too#jurassic world: camp cretaceous#jwcc#camp cretaceous#they're all feral#also kenji has spent his time around guys with guns and helicopters before he's rich#darius's closest experience with this is movies and video games#also STANDING IN A YURT WITH A GUY HOLDING A KNIFE

#my art#wip#bocchiposting#i wholly underestimated the amount of tweening needed and the amount of layers#originally i wanted to cover the entire song with parts for kita and bocchi#but given my current health condition + having work i think i'll just finish small chunks first and then see how much i can do b4 school#i can definitely finish the intro but i really want to draw in bocchi for a specific part sdjfhdskfjks#unfortunately i currently have the constitution of a sick victorian child! Any stress or strain sends me to the bed!#so i cannot crank this out within 5 hours like i used to be able to#the song is mesmerizer obv credits to that#it really has been a process of oh im just gonna do something small for fun oh no this needs more for a better streamline#halfway through i was like. would this have been easier if i just used. live 2d. probably. but i am too far in.#i need a good video editor program so bad but all the tutorials online are for AE and i do not have the money for that </3#and the next best option is apparently blender and i've done a few tutorials but i have never been able to retain the information <3#the learning curve is seriously hard and i don't have the time for that either </3 time is money fr#i tell myself to not feel guilty for drawing when i could be studying bc this is needed <3 this is self indulgent <3#self care!!!!!! rahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!#kk rambles

#Doodles#W. D. Ghoster#If it was anyone other than him.... But it /is/ him that's the thing#Backing up a bit lol - in doing some Surface Tests to make sure everything's going well (It is! No errors popped! :D) I got curious#Y'know wanting to compare to see how many animations or elements make up a surface! It's interesting! And fun!#And then discovering that certain very rare animations can be seen again without resetting or reinstalling or what have you hehe <3#I've already seen those they're not a spoiler they're just harder to come by - I want to appreciate and admire them a bit longer!#Which was all well and fine and good and dandy and not a problem until I was idly clicking through not really paying attention to what#I've still never punched Ghoster - I haven't even played with my Neutral Run in a while I just want to keep petting him#So I hadn't seen the animation(s) - haven't sought them out haven't even really looked too much into screenshot of#It was very startling! I was worried!! I immediately went to check my stats and indeed I ''hadn't'' punched him - 1000+ Pets and no Punches#But... I saw it happen#He doesn't know because it was Just An Animation - him Just A Ghost - but I saw it I experienced it I was there for it#Yes that first time it was an accident but in grabbing these gifs I did it again on purpose#(How's my cursor acting btw lol)#There's a bit of Flowey about it all - made me wonder if Ghosts could ever be programmed to ''know'' a Surface Test happened#Really - if it were any other Ghost than his I probably wouldn't be thinking about it so much - but by nature of who he is...#So yeah anyway I stopped after this - no more spoilers for me#I'll look elsewhere for reference for now - I still want to experience his routes fairly blind haha#Oh and a bonus surfacetable.txt ♥ Yay ♥ I was so excited for that haha I love renaming things!#I couldn't figure out why certain captions were overlapping for a bit - figured it out by comparing the Hunter/Smoker table lol#Picking things up in tiny little pinches!
