imagine if you just don't even remember saying that too and kaiser just can't help but gawk because he very vividly remembers you in your early high school days gushing over a delinquent in your class that had the coolest tattoo on his forearm. it made kaiser look at his own pale arm and wonder what would patterns of ink look like around the skin, wondering if you would gleam over his tattoo in the same manner you did with your class delinquent. would you trace your fingers over the patterns he embedded onto himself? would you admire the texture? graze your fingertips across each inch of ink?

he had shivered at the thought when he had gotten his tattoo done, the feeling temporarily distracting him for the spiking pain of the tattoo needle pricking in-and-out of his arm, the lush ebony of the vine and thorns of his rose tattoo deepening with every moment the ink settles. kaiser can just picture your hand spiraling around the singular vine, the ghost of your touch he hadn't felt in years since his disappearance from his hometown making him twitch in anticipation.

so when you tilt your head at him when he reminds you of your affection of guys with tattoos, chiming with, "did i say that? i don't remember! oops." when he proudly shows off his year-healed tattoo to you, his jaw drops.

I just don't understand this ending... In both of Horikoshi's previous serialized series the villains lived and got to reform and atone at the end.

Why was this series, which focused way fucking more on making the villains sympathetic and pointed out the ways they could have been saved if society or their families were different (and how one literally never had a chance in the first place), the series where they die or are locked away forever.

What happened?

Loki fixes his jacket, Mobius doesn't look, and I fall apart

I was in the midst of making a thirst edit for loki, I was just admiring loki being unfairly attractive when I ended with anything but a thirst edit and got emotionally devastated instead.

I refer to that little moment of Loki straightening himself out. First, when he's trying to find his footing at the TVA. When he first puts on his jacket, its this smooth, practiced motion, he sweeps that hair back, adjusts his lapels, chin up, like he's slipping into a role, trying to play along, trying to present himself as someone in control even though he is anything but.

And mobius, watching him, already amused, interested.. and Loki sees that, clocks it, gives that tiny little 'oh you like this?' smile.

Then cut to Dons timeline and tell me why Loki does the exact same motion, only this time, its hesitant. In the TVA it was almost performative, like he was trying to present himself well.

But Dons timeline? its more tentative, like he's nervous, like he wants to get it right.. Because now it isn't just some TVA game. This is Mobius, living a quiet human life that Loki isn't apart of. Its almost like Loki's bracing himself before stepping back into something he knows he can't stay in.

And Mobius-Don- god. Mobius doesn't clock it this time. Because this isn't that kind of story anymore. Theres no knowing little smirk, no teasing remark- just Don, squinting at Loki like a stranger.

Its the tragedy of the saddest little muscle memory. The way Loki's hands move before he could ever even realise why. Because once upon a time, in a place that doesn't exist anymore, he did this exact thing. He straightened his jacket, swept his hair back and looked up- and Mobius was there.

Watching him. noticing him. Seeing him.

Mobius doesn't see him this time. Not in the way he used to. And yet, Loki straightens his jacket. Because some part of Loki remembers what it was like to be looked at by him.

in, i think at least a couple of the save points, FriendProgram says they were built to heal through friendship and. well they’re aplatonic so I want to look at this a second

the love test machine exists and that literally quantifies how much love you have in you so i don’t doubt the old organisms could build a robot that heals through making friends. but do you think 1) FriendProgram’s just been on low health this whole time or 2) would the healing count if just the other person believes they’re friends. either makes sense to me,

1) FriendProgram is constantly referred to as being weak, and Yeah friend programs weren’t built to be strong, Void says they’re still weak themself, but Void is capable of physically fighting And Winning so long as they don’t get hit. it seems to be that friend programs are capable of being strong(they're just Not usually) but they're certainly not Durable. FP doesn’t seem to be strong in either sense, BFP says them breaking her screens hurt themself more than her. FP and Void are both loveless but Void says they Want To Have and Like Having friends. nick says something in one of his logs about ‘it seems the more corrupted Void’s data is the better they are at fighting’ but FP’s data is Also corrupted. I have to wonder if the difference in their health and therefore physical strength is dependent on them wanting or not wanting friends.

also when FP was in automatic mode they started off passing in and out of consciousness Regularly, they were going through whatever little power they had before shutting off again until they actually Rested and woke up in nick's lab, where as Clover didn’t have a problem with this, my guess being they had enough leftover power to not have to shut off over and over to begin with

2) if healing works when just the the other person believes they’re friends, then that also makes sense to me, with friend programs' designed purpose being more sinister

also i don't have a conclusive point on this one bc I think I'd have to watch through the game again to make sure, but iirc in like act 1 when you're just encountering the experiments it says "you made a new friend" but I think once you have Waterbottle with you and you're encountering other programs it says "you made a new friend and ally" and I wonder if it's meant to be like, a friend to Waterbottle but an ally to FriendProgram. FP preferring the company of animals bc they're more free to be themself I can see them being more okay with the experiments thinking they're friends and saying so, but not other programs, using the ambiguity of "friend and ally" (even if that presumably isn't something being said out loud) ☝️I could be misreading the intention here however and "friend (and ally)" Is supposed to be in regards to just FP and that'd feed into my second point listed above about 'just the other person would have to think they're friends for healing to work'

anyway I think it’d be neat if post-game FP was looking into getting a patch for their system so they can heal though regular means, if that’d be something possible for them <:]

the vore community has been, and will continue to be a place that is unsafe for both minors and victims of any form of abuse or grooming suffered within it. people have proven time and time again that they will refuse to acknowledge or in fact, violently defend abusers for any reason they can cook up because they do not want to face the consequences of doing so- all people want to do is consume vore content thoughtlessly and if ignoring their favorite artist's grooming allegations means they can do it, then so be it. ignorance is bliss- that's why so many blogs around here are still firmly in the "i don't care who interacts with me!!" boat if it means they don't have to think about it. believe it or not, you have to think about your actions in a kink space even if you don't see it as one.

you can't just excuse away the harm you're enabling with "i didn't know," or "i don't want to talk about that, i just wanna vibe and look at pictures of people eating each other!" that is still enabling, that is still causing harm, and that's just proving to hurt people that there's no one they can trust and when it comes down to it, no one will stick up for them when they open up about the things they've suffered. it's always the victims who are wrong for standing up for themselves or calling attention to people that have been or are still doing harm (especially if they aren't cordial and nonthreatening in the way they talk about it, even though they have every right to be upset), because there's no way your favorite artist could do something bad! their art is too good! their writing is too well-done to be made by someone bad! so it must be them who's wrong, because the abuser said so and the victim was mean! why don't we all attack the victim for daring to open up and nitpick how they did it, because surely that is what prevents people from being hurt! ignore how nobody's actually done any of these things, btw (and if they did, they get ignored immediately).

at worst, these people are callous and cruel and are abusers themselves. at best, these people are enabling harm to be perpetuated because they don't want to acknowledge it. or they're too scared to be dogpiled too, or whatever other reason there is. this culture this community fosters needs to die out or people will continue to be used and abused.

this blog will never come off hiatus. not while this place and people i used to admire and trust continue to prove themselves to be the kinds of people that will justify the sexual abuse i endured for years in this community.
