#yellowart #subnautica #i feel like the timelapse is kinda long but also this did take a long time to make #anyways. let me yap about the meanings of all the panels <3 #'i am creation' -> the ocean being the source of life and where shit evolved from also a good way to sort of 'set the scene' for subnautica #'both haunted' -> GHOST leviathan; in the BONE fields #'and holy' -> this one was a bit trickier. debated about using the emperor but i knew i wanted to use her elsewhere #also debated hoverfish because its cute and well liked so i thought that would be funny for 'and holy'#also something something jesus walking on water also makes it fitting. in the end though i decided on a peeper with the enzyme trail #and i *tried* to make it loop over its head like a halo but idk how well that imagery came through. still mentioned it in the alt text tho.#'made in glory' -> was REALLY torn about this one. on the one hand i wanted to have like a picture of the code because something something #divine machine and it being made out of code making it inherently holy or something; but i wasnt sure if that would be too #'immersion breaking' since most of the stuff in this is like in game stuff i wasnt sure if acknowledging that it was a game would be #too much. my other idea was to draw a couple of creature eggs like a stalker egg and a spadefish egg or something; but in the end i just #went with the one that i personally thought was cooler so if you think it does feel out of place uhhhh sorry i guess lmao.#also yes that is code from the game. idk shit about programming i just think code shit is cool so i poked though a modding tutorial til i #found what it is they use to look at that shit and started poking around. its pretty cool tbh. anyways the specific part i chose for the #drawing was something under the peepers; i think its the bit that tells the enzyme peepers to do the enzyme stuff like the trail obviously #but also some other stuff. not 100% sure though like i said idk shit about this sort of thing but everything in there seems pretty well #labeled its kinda impressive. and very helpful for navigating even if you dont know shit lol.#anyways. 'even the depths of the night cannot blind me' -> blood kelp trench is i think one of the darkest biomes in the game #possibly THE darkest so i thought it would be fitting. probably my least favorite panel though i dont think i did a very good job #representing the area or representing the bloodvines :/#'when you guide me' -> sea emperor but more specifically her messages to the player telling you to 'come here'#'creature only' -> not sure how well i can articulate this but basically the idea of humans beig animals with animal needs to eat and drink #and the idea of being a part of the ecosystem. modern life tends to make us forget that sort of thing but id imagine for ryley being on the #planet would violently remind him of this with things trying to eat him while he has to try to eat things as well. being part of the food #web. 'creature only' because he is only a creature not non-essential systems maintenance chief; but a creature living in an environment and #trying to survive. or something like that. does that make any fucking sense to anyone besides me? whatever.#anyways yapping over 👍

I just got In Stars And Time, and im wondering if theres any like, blind guides out there? Stuff that points me in the right direction or give hints on how to reach side content that i can possibly miss without outright telling me what it is or what it entails. Because knowing me, i will miss it, but i don't want to just play next to a guide which tells me everything about the event leaving no room for suprise.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The craziest thing about PTSD is thinking you're free from it and then getting triggered like 5 mins later by the most random thing.

#ptsd #it isn't always the big and obvious triggers that get you #sometimes it is some random child making a casual comment #that just happens to be very close to a comment that stuck with you from your time being abused when you were the same age as the kid #they didn't know and meant no harm but damn it really fucks you uo #like I could have been that child and kept that innocent and blind trust #i could have grown up still trusting in community leaders and authority figures to guide and protect me #but I didn't and now I have to live navigating a minefield while a part of me desperately wants to protect these children #despite knowing that not all churches are like the one I went to #a deep part of me wants to actively teach fear of these institutions but that would just be a self fulfilling prophecy right there #vent #i haven't had an event like that in almost A YEAR #i entered a church without any problems for the first time in 18 years just the other week #so I mean I had a valid reason to think I was finally able to fix things with my mind but I guess not #religion tw

Hi @cygnusdoesthings! I don't forgot you, I just have a very bad eye/hand coordination. I spend a lot of time trying to pass the lift part (when we need to avoid the zurks) and now I just can't pass the lever in the sewers.

I try only a couple of times everyday, but I think need to kill every zurk on the room after the lever. Maybe?

Idk, I couldn't find the exit form that room.

Fun fact did give up and I already looked up, but saw I had missed one memory and restarted the chapter just to be stuck on the lever again.

Trying to watch 999 let’s plays is such hell to me - NO ONE PLAYS THE GAME RIGHT just shutupshutupshutupshutup and play the game!! Stop trying to make jokes!!!!

I’m too autistic for this, I cannot bear hearing let’s players doing their own voice acting when I adore the game’s VAs too much. Everyone always fucks up Santa’s and Lotus’s voices especially.

I understand the draw of Let’s Plays are largely the people playing them who have gained their own following, but as someone who just loves the game I don’t wanna hear ur stupid banter 💥💥💥 play the game and be intrigued but not TOO intrigued because give it a fuckin minute it’ll explain what’s going on 🙄‼️

#zero escape #999 #my opinion is that the let’s plays that are alright are half-blind play thrus where one person is knowledgeable about everything #and can keep the blind one on track and properly guide their curiousity #I also lose my MIND when people get stuck on the puzzles on this ridiculously easy game #(<- says the person who has played it numerous times and knows all the solutions by heart)#like you IDIOT just do THIS #(<- also the person who still has to look up the answer to the box puzzle behind door 6)#and don’t get me started on when the LPers hate Lotus #don’t get me wrong - disliking her especially when u get to the hospital room is Good and Correct as it’s what the writing is leading you to #but some LPers get so misogynistic about it I have to immediately tap out cuz its too much #also another reason why I don’t like when they don’t use the in-game voice acting #is cuz so many people play Junpei as Basic Anime Protag when Evan Smith’s voice acting gives him SO much character #and Junpei is my favorite >:(#I have many more gripes but that’s enough for now #I just want everyone to experience how great this game is but ONLY in the way I LIKE #I know I sound so whiny and entitled but please tell me someone else relates #the urge I get to just make a whole channel dedicated to 999 play thrus where I just play the game again and again with a different friend #would they all be identical to each other because I would be directing them all the same?#yes. but what greater autistic joy is that (for me)#I never thought the Joseph Anderson streams would be my favorite playthrus cuz I hated them too at first #but his dynamic with chat and consistent amusement and enjoyment of the game is very nice and soothing

anyway, i'm glad i got stardew valley when it was heavily on sale because, like, yes i did want to try the videogame that was wildly popular but it give me so much anxiety to have a timer on my head telling me how much time is left of the day, how much of the year was spent and what not. The possibility of missing an event too, it just doe not jive well with my ocd i guess

which is a shame! because i love everything else about it and i genuinely think i would have been able to enjoy the game if i could have chosen when to go to sleep and didn't have a calendar

#it's why i never play persona games blind and from second 1 i have a guide open #the impending doom of time passing is something i deal with already irl
