Hi! If you’re still looking to answer questions I have one that I think about every time I listen to your music.

Your stuff is so unique and imaginative from a creative standpoint, and it always makes me wonder: do you draw inspiration from yourself or from other stories/media that you love? Or a mix of both? Or neither? I’m just really curious about your conceptual process I guess? Especially with how cool your mvs are as well.

Sorry for all the question marks lol, and if that’s too personal I totally get it! I was just curious since I saw so many people sending asks. (Also, I just got my going, going, gone anniversary tshirt and it’s quickly become one of my favorites so thanks for that too! Haha)

ooooooooooooohhh a nice variety of question marks, I like it! I'm a musician, nothing's TOO personal 😅 (I might regret saying that later)

I say that I draw inspo from everything! Film, TV, other ppl's music, magazines, any type of media!

For example, I just watched this movie called The Love Witch and I lowkey wanna make a album SOLELY based on that film cause it was maaaaaaaaaaaad interesting anywaysssss

I also feel like coming from a biology background, there were so many instances where things would get realllllllllyyyyyy boring studying, reading, etc.) I HAD to find some sort of escape (ie: music) to rejuvenate myself!

But also, I don't actively think too deep on concepts! It's not that I don't care, I just try to write the song the way the song wants to be written! Basically I start kind of talking to myself, and something usually comes up!

If anything, I spend most of my song-making time researching synonyms or rhymes 😭

Same with MVs! Luckily, I get a lot of help in that area, though! (Collaboration is important!)

today we're going to be doing our very own Day in the Life! what's the very first thing you do when you wake up? snooze and snooze and snooze and snooze and s- 💤

what are we having for breakfast? i don't usually eat breakfast as soon as i wake up, but eventually my go to is eggs on toast 🥚

your caffeine order, if that's your thing: if i'm home, i'll have just have coffee with oat milk (or i'll have it iced if i remember - i brew it the night before and chill it overnight). if i'm out, i'll get a vanilla cold brew with oat milk 🥛

today we're wearing our favorite outfit! describe it to me: loose light blue carpenter jeans, one of my many funky sweaters, black leather jacket, crossbody bag, black chunky boots 🥾

no work today! what's the first thing you're doing on your day off? lounge around in bed as long as humanly possible! 🥱

you need to run your most frequent errand, where are you headed? uuuuh the supermarket... but i've gotten used to the convenience of having things delivered :crine:

are you driving, walking, or taking public transit? i'm walking. everything i need is within walking distance, it just becomes hard when you gotta schlep heavy shit back (hence the deliveries) 🚶🏻‍♀️

it's lunch time and you're out and about! where are you going and what's on the menu? i'm stopping at my fav local cafe and getting an eggs benny sandwich (with avocado, queso fresco, and smoky chipotle hollandaise hehehe) and a side of hash browns 😋

while heading home, you pass the mall and decide to stop in. what's the first store you're hitting up? there aren't any malls around here, but i'm definitely stopping at a bookstore! 📕

it's time for a Little Treat, what are you getting? either a hibiscus lime iced tea or a mango sweet tea (from the same cafe lol) 🍵

you're finally home! what show are you turning on for background noise? lately i've just been watching old episodes of rick steves traveling through europe lol 📺

you decide to do a few chores. what are your favorite and least favorite ones? i'd probably go for the dishes first, i find it almost relaxing sometimes! my least favorite is anything to do with the bathroom lmao 🧹

I have a few t-shirts in this life that I associate with specific kintypes.

I've got a couple Star Wars shirts. Granted, one is an Empire design, not First Order but w/e. That t-shirt design rules. The other shirt is the First Order emblem with a fire insignia on top. Flametrooper brain go brrrrrrr

A fuckin. Tshirt with *their* gd logo that I got back when Captain America: The Winter Soldier first came out. Not the gr8st thing to have now soooooo it's delegated to sleepy time tshirt, esp for when I'm in those shifts. (My sunglasses, too, kinda, but I do wanna get tac goggles again. Maybe I can make them a darker tint too.... would be useful both for kinfeels and bc light hurts dude... my eyes are sensitive af)

Oh, also have a tshirt with my unit's insignia on it, and the motto. (Everyone fights, no one quits.)

Those are the main ones. Tbh I want more, both for some of my other 'types and for these ones.
