Tsuna and Lucia, living together, while a global pandemic is going on. Snippets of a life together.

1 minute rule | March 2nd, 2020

“They said to wash your hands for one whole minute.”

Tsuna nodded, squishing himself into the bathroom after Lucia. Their little apartment was as comfortable as it came, and Tsuna had long since gotten used to the notion that privacy was a primitive idea. He had evolved to a point where he could coexist with Lucia barging into the bathroom to brush her teeth while he was taking a shit. 

“Let’s make it into a song!” 

“Do any of your Disney songs fit the one minute rule?”

“Uhmmm∼” Lucia purposely bumped into him, telling him to shut up and follow her lead. Tsuna pushed back, he would have none of that today. “Come on! Washing hands for 3 minutes is not even that bad, it’s actually better.”

“I disagree.”

“Stingy.”

Tsuna rolled his eyes. He might as well ignore her suggestion and get this over with—there was a new game he was dying to try—until he realized his hands were filled with more disinfecting soap than he would have liked. He threw a glance at Lucia, his suspicions were put to rest when he noticed the bottle of soap in her hands. 

Petty. 

“Then,” Tsuna took a deep breath, it wasn’t every day he decided to break into a musical number, the whole mechanics of it were still rather embarrassing to him. “Oni no pantsu wa ii pantsu~ Tsuyoi zo, tsuyoi zo~”

Lucia’s eyes sparkled with mirth, whether because of his poor musical skills or because of the song itself, he wasn’t too keen on finding out lest she laughed in his face. She poured a gracious amount of soap for herself, “Tora no kegawa de dekiteiru~ Tsuyoi zo, tsuyoi zo~!”

The one marathon everyone was waiting for | March 10th, 2020

Tsuna cursed as he was confronted, once again, with an incomprehensible string of kanji he didn’t remember writing. “I don’t know what I meant, but it’s not this!” he groaned, ending the sentence’s entire existence. 

The sudden lockdown had left Tsuna—and therefore Lucia—with too much free time on their hands. Tsuna took to writing those game reviews he said he would be writing later, until “later” became “never” and he had to replay those games from beginning to end. 

He was Tired™.

“Why did you pull an all-nighter?” called Lucia’s voice from the kitchen, the sounds of pots the only indication she was using the place for more than just the comfortable table Tsuna opted against in his exhaustion. “And don’t think I don’t know. Your spot was cold this morning.”

Right, he wasn’t allowed to pull all-nighters, but she could pull as many all-nighters as she wanted in the name of the family. Tsuna called bullshit on that logic, and turned up the volume of the TV, if only to add some background noise to not fall asleep to. 

“—un mese di Harry Potter! Tutta la saga, dalle prime lezioni... fino all’ultima avventura—” (a month of Harry Potter! The entire saga, from the first lessons to the last adventure)

The scream coming from the kitchen jolted Tsuna awake, something which the no-sugar-triple-shot-espresso coffee he had drunk had clearly failed to do. He had no time to blink as Lucia barreled into the living room, snatching the remote from his hands. 

“—tutti i lunedì e martedì alle 21 e 20 su Italia 1!” (all mondays and tuesdays at 9:20 pm on Italia 1!)

Lucia turned towards him, smiling too bright for him to feel at ease, the remote returned to his hands a moment before she spoke, “We’re doing the Hogwarts Sorting Hat quiz.”

“I thought you already did.” Tsuna blinked, confusion hitting him like a particularly well-aimed bullet to the head — and yes, he was familiar enough with that sensation to use it as a metaphor. 

“But you didn’t.”

“Because I didn’t watch the movies—we talked about this.”

Lucia pointed at the TV where a washing machine commercial was currently being aired, her brightly shining eyes begged him to understand what she was trying to communicate without saying more on the subject. Tsuna blinked at her once again, begging her to understand he hadn’t yet unlocked the ability to read people’s minds. 

“Italia 1 is marathoning the movies, it’s the perfect opportunity to watch them.”

“As if they don't run a marathon every 2 to 3 years.”

“Shush.”

“Why the quiz?” 

“I want to know what’s your house.”

“What if I end up in a different house? Than yours?” 

“I wouldn’t break up with you over that.” Lucia rolled her eyes at him, as though he was being stupid for assuming she would break up with him for such a petty reason. He wasn’t convinced, at all, considering she almost strangled him when he admitted to not having seen much of Disney’s movies.

“I won’t be held responsible for what that quiz says.”

“Pff, there’s no way you’re anything other than a Gryffindor.”

Fortunately for him, he didn’t even need to correct her as the HUFFLEPUFF badge on the screen seemed to do all the talking. Tsuna was, however, bemused about his girlfriend angrily ordering a bunch of Harry Potter merch just for him — was she or wasn't she happy that they were in the same house?

TKCalligraphy

Date: 8th January 2020, 15th January 2020, 25 January 2020, 10-14 March 2020 Venue: Tunku Kurshiah College

TKCalligraphy was one of my friend’s projects, Munawar aiming to raise awareness of the contributions of Arabic calligraphy and to create a useful skill in students’ self.  This project really opened my eyes on the importance of the Arabic Calligraphy in everyday use in the centuries even in the recent world. This project consists of 3 workshops and an exhibition.

The first series of the project started on 7th and 15th of January by having a calligraphy workshop for all Cohort 4 members conducted by Munawar. The first workshop, we were explained about the origin and the types of Arabic calligraphy such as Khat Naskh, Kufi and Tsulus. This slot was held in order to raise awareness of the significance of maintaining the world heritage and increase the vast amount of knowledge about the history and background of Arabic calligraphy besides promoting open-mindedness in the students’ self.  Also, during this workshop, we were taught about the Arabic calligraphy skills including the tools and instruments used such as handam pen, bamboo pen, java pen, celi pen and their ink as well as on how to barely hold the pen correctly. We were given the opportunity to learn to write ‘alif’ to ‘ya’’ with respect to naskh style and Kufic style on our own as she guided us one by one,until all of us mastered all the skills to write all the Arabic letters in Khat. The experience of writing khat wasn't as easy as I thought. It took several times for me until I got to write the letter beautifully. It was my first time and what I can say, it was a good start for me.

After mastering the kaht writing skills, we were given a task in which we had to teach the Form 2 students how to letter Arabic calligraphy by using Naskh style in the last workshop on 25th February. I was really enthusiastic about this workshop since I am going to teach. At the same time, I was also quite nervous since my calligraphy skills weren't good enough.Gratefully, everything went as planned and I finished my task well. Throughout this workshop, I got the opportunity to socialise with the form 2 students which I can say all of them are so nice and sociable. This was easier for me to approach and chat with them which can help me to improve my social and communication skills.

The third series was the exhibition of the Calligraphy artwork, where all the artworks that had been done by the form 2 students would be displayed at the foyer of our college in order to spread the awareness of the beauty and significance of Arabic Calligraphy in life. All in all, it has been a great experience for me in learning calligraphy in the right way and I’m really looking forward to such programmes in future.

TKCalligraphy

7th January 2020, 15th January 2020, 25th February 2020 &  9th March 2020

7 days after New Year’s Eve has me started with joining the first ever CAS for the year conducted by my friend, Munawar. The whole concept was to make everyone write all Arabic letters in Calligraphy style but turned out the session was way lot more. We were shown slides in which we were exposed to numerous types of ‘khat’ such as ‘Kufi’ and ‘Tsulus’, I had seen all those writings but I actually never knew they are categorized into different types. My writings aren’t the finest-looking but I did my best and the project leader led all of us step by step, letters by letters. Thanks, to the guidance, the final result wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

The second series was then done on the 15th, a week after. Since the first series had khat ‘Nasakh’ as its main theme, the second one’s was khat ‘Kufi’. The structure is easier than khat ‘Nasakh’ since the shape is boxy and symmetrical. I think I did a better job compared to the first one and I am proud of it. It was a good lesson and I feel delighted to learn something new.

The third series can be deemed as the peak of this CAS Project. This is because there was involvement from mainstream students. Since our project leader wanted to narrow down the participants in order to get a balanced ratio with the facilitators, only those who were members of the Arabic Language could join and they must be aged 14. The age was not really much of a big deal but some other students are busy with exam preparation and all that. Truthfully, I didn’t join this one from the start because I had class but I managed to join at the end for my part. A few days before the execution of the third series, our project leader had already tasked each of us for specific letters that we had to write to teach the participants. Mine was pretty easy, well maybe it wasn’t but it seemed to be after I practiced numerous of time. I also heard some compliments from the students regarding the letter that I wrote, it felt good to be appreciated after doing some efforts. The atmosphere was also lively as we communicated with the students and it wasn’t complete silence, perhaps being in a very tight-knit community makes me occasionally long for noises at events. I remember the time when I used to hate buzzing sounds and people responding loudly to questions being asked but it was different that time. Throughout the event, it was quite an experience because there was a mixture of community engagement and being able to finish what was being tasked felt very satisfying.I truly hope that in the future, I will be able to be brave and delve into something I’m not very familiar with, just like how I did for TKCalligraphy.

TKCalligraphy was one of my friend’s project, Munawar who has opened my eyes on the importance of the Arabic Calligraphy in everyday use in the centuries even in the recent world. The aim of this project was to raise awareness of the contributions of Arabic calligraphy and to create a useful skill in students’ self. All I can say is the aim was achieved successfully throughout the series because I can see the improvements on realizing the importance of this Arabic calligraphy in the mainstream students and myself too. 

The first series of the project started on 7th and 15th of January by holding a workshop for the committee members which is Cohort 4. The presentation was conducted by the project leader, Munawar by explaining the origin and the types of Arabic calligraphy such as Khat Naskh, Kufi and Tsulus. In fact, Munawar also gave us the opportunity to write Khat on our own as she guided us one by one, letters by letters until all of us masters all the skill to write all the Arabic letters in Khat. 

The second series was a workshop with mainstream students(form 2 students that took Arabic). Here where I got my duty to set up the equipment by setting up the LCD, the slide and so on. I got the new experience all the way since I have never handled the electronic equipment before this, and this taught me a lot on how to set up and taking care of the electronic equipment. For the workshop with the mainstream students, I was really enthusiastic since I love being around with kids, even though they are not kids anymore, but then still they are younger than me. Socialising with these people help me in increasing my communication skill. In fact, Munawar also assigned us in pairs to teach how to write the Arabic letters. I was assigned to teach them the Dza, Dzai, Ra’ and Zai letters to the students. There are some of them, who are really passionate about calligraphy and we also exchange some experience and knowledge so that we got new knowledge about Calligraphy. 

The third series was the exhibition of the Calligraphy artwork, where our artwork will be displayed at the foyer of our college in order to spread the awareness of the beauty and significance of Arabic Calligraphy in life. In fact, I am satisfied because finally, I can make one artwork of Calligraphy for myself. It has been a great experience in learning calligraphy in the right way and I would consider continuing my passion when I was in my primary school back then.

About Litheliun Natural AU

I really like thinking of different ways Litheliun could’ve gone or how the characters could’ve survived in different worlds. So far, there are only two distinct AUs that I’ve become attached to: the Natural AU and the Modern AU.

If Riden’s body was born into a more normal life and if Tsuor was born just a few centuries later, both would’ve been born as Naturals (aka those who are not Lithes). Riden would’ve been a Caliga-Terram named Daniel Hitam. Tsuor would’ve been born to Tsulu Phoslane instead of being the older sibling.

Tsuor was technically a happy child before being sent to live in Ashueall and having to bear the responsibilities of being a Deity. He was excitable and very energetic (and may have ADHD). Due to living in Oshiean, he follows the traditions of first born children. Unlike other children, he wound up being non-gender-conforming. He greatly enjoys fluffy dresses but prefers simply wearing pants and a loose shirt. He still has a younger brother who he travels the world with.

Daniel’s soul is the reincarnated soul of Reidoux. Reidoux’s soul had been released without a vessel to hold it and returned to the reincarnation cycle. Daniel himself isn’t much different from Riden, albeit, less gender confused and more blade-oriented. He’s very edgy.

Tsuor and Daniel are still the Wind and Sound Catalyst respectively.

The both of them meet the same way that Riden and Ziren met the second time around. Tsuor and his brother had been travelling through the deserts when Daniel, who had also been travelling, ran into them. Unlike with Ziren and Riden, these two had an immediate liking to each other. Daniel joined the siblings on their travels.

Tsuor is a scientist of sorts, categorising and finding all sorts of plant life. He has a preference to poisonous plants. His brother is the apothecary. Daniel is a historian.

The cursed vixens said nothing hearing this but Jinx looks to her girls but sighed. "Ehhhh....it depends on who does what and yet I can't answer for everyone.." she said.

"Like for me: My birth mom passed away due to illness so I still end up visiting her grave during mothers day. As for my step mom...she well I don't know what happened to her. I know or get the feeling she's alive but..I never see her or visit her. I think she made it clear she didn't wanna know I existed anymore...but it's fine." she said shrugging her shoulders then looks to the girls.

"And guys? If you don't wanna say you don't have to.." she said yet some only sighed.

"We don't mind Jinx.....For me, I lost my mother after being kidnapped by some hunters as a younger child..yet kept as a live subject for something. I lost both her and my father. I still visit their graves either way but I will visit my mom's grave to leave some flowers for her." Vivi mutters this looking quiet.

"Tch, I don't have a mom. Even if she was a bitch trying to change me for her own doing. I fucking hate her! I hope she's suffering for everything she did to me and my dad! It's because of her...I lost the only one that cared about me before I became a demon...." Echo hissed mad but looks down. "Even thinking about her makes me sick.."

Breezy rubs Echo's back but sighed. "All I know is that my own birth mom ran away. I never saw her again since I guess to me she abandoned me and..my dad. He's still alive but he's a dead drunk.....it wasn't even safe for me to be around him after he..." Breezy took a moment but didn't say. "Sorry well, tried something but I got taken away for safety. Though, I was put in a building to be given to another family but I didn't want to. So, I ran away to live my life as I did now.."

Ping didn't wanna talk about it but she was looking silent before she started speaking. 'I..I don't know much but I know mine are alive...b..but..they don't remember me or remember having a daughter. I don't exist to them after I was taken away to be experimented on..'

"Both mine are alive but..I can't tell you too much. Their in hiding for their protection. But I still check up on them from time to time to insure they are safe. Including my mom. I did get my smarts from her so..." Mouse smiled hoping her mom was safe. She already got flowers sent to her with a gift.

Melinda thinks about it but looks to her lap. "Honestly, I know I have my mom that's still alive but..I don't remember much about her. I guess wherever she is, I hope she is safe. Though, when I do think about her, I get a warm feeling in my heart like she's right there with me....so I don't know if that counts.." she mutters but Jinx looks to the anon.

"Now as to the others..I don't know much...but I was told something.." she said showing a list.

Rex and Ashley: Mom was taken away to a safety building and is alive. Both siblings know she is safe so they tend to visit her.

Ashley's Team: Hex's mom was drugged and killed but he gets really upset during mothers day. The other members moms Hiroshi, Timmy, and T-bone's are alive.

Rex's team: Spring and Fall's mom are alive but Winter's mom was taken away/no idea where she is. While Fall's mom is alive and at home. She sends presents and visits her parents.

However, Winter and Summer's mother was killed/dead

Willow's mother is dead due to her illness

Her teammates: Jeremy's mom is alive but has no memory of him being her son after the car accident. Tsulu's mother is alive. Enya's mother is alive but lost memory of having a daughter. Mitena's mother is alive but at unknown location but is safe. And Tayen's mother is alive but she's out of the country living her life. She gave her up so her daughter can live a more happier life.

Maki's mother was murdered.

Yuuka's mother is alive and at home with her family. Sends gifts and flowers to her home. Sometimes video chats with her.

Yuuka's teammates: Ming's mother is alive but has no memory due to a quirk user wiping her memory. Damien's mom is alive but gave him up to live a better life. Trevor's mom is alive but her location is unknown. Maxine's mom is alive but in a mental home for her safety. Swan's mother is alive but she's in a coma.

Luna's mother is dead but killed by her abuser trying to protect her and Daniella's mother was murdered by the same person: Iron titan

And Agana's mother is dead due to giving her daughter a chance to live. She scarified herself for her daughter to be happy.

"But yeah...most are going to celebrate mothers day but...Others not so much. It's too painful for them to think about it. I know right now, some are really upset. Even when trying to smile, the pain still is there..it just hits harder during this holiday." Jinx said with arms crossed.

Willow said nothing but her left eye was twitching showing she was getting a bit angry. Dangerous angry.

"........" as the anon waited, they saw some azure flames rise up behind her as they sweatdrop to pale. Uh oh.

Moments later, a giant explosion along with blue flames rose up with an anon screaming for help and a angry blue phoenix bird chasing after them. The other team was shocked seeing this but had a guess an anon made Willow mad.

"S..should we do something?" Tsulu said to the phoenix feathers. They shook their heads no knowing how scary Willow was. Yeah, the anon was on his own. But at least the others all over will see the fire show.

Silver butterfly mun/Peahen mom

Ethan and Willow have been traveling for a while now but after some time, it shows they were in a hidden area but was getting word their teammates were safe! They were hidden but still trying to find them or in a hidden area.

So far, Zloth told Ethan they were still near but they were alright and found moments after! Both the fractions; The Active Seeker Tribe and The Elemental Phoenix Feathers. Both fractions found one another after so long and was recovering in a hidden area. Though, Ethan told Willow's team of her status to find out that she was infected.

"So she's been like this for a while now?" Zloth asked his leader seeing Ethan nod seeing Willow sleeping as she was resting. "I see...well, right now, we are just happy to know we found you both and are safe right now. However, given the situation of the infection-"

"We know. Right now, Mr. Henderson from NYC told us he has a team working with other doctors to find a cure for this. So far, it's been coming up negative." he knew that much given it's been around for a bit and now he was still more worried.

"Was anyone else bitten or infected?" he asked.

"No. No one else in our fraction was infected and none for Willow's team was either." Light said. "Though, others out there have been..it's been a mess.."

"I see...." he mutters worried.

"But even so, some have gotten away so it's fine.."

"Good good. Any have injuries?" he asked next.

"No. Everyone else is alright but healing. We were able to heal each other in case." Agana said to her leader but Ethan was happy to hear everyone was alright. That was good. Though, Agana looks to Willow who still was sleeping.

"Though...what of she?"

"....Willow's gone through a bit during the last few days. Even getting infected, I've given her some blood to keep her stable for now.." he said.

"So you did give her your blood? Then she's already past that day needing it?" Jeremy asked worried seeing Ethan nod again. Now her fraction was worried.

"Yes. She's already lost it twice so far but was able to come back to her senses. I don't know how many times she can do that without losing it fully. But I've given my word I won't let her go that far." he said.

"W..we know you won't Big brother Ethan." Maki said seeing Tsulu nod to agree. Given how things are right now, he didn't blame him. That way, she wouldn't lose herself to that.

"But given that fact. You all heard from what Mr. Henderson said correct? Right now, a cure is being worked on but they will inform us and hopefully we can go and get it. That or them bring it to us." he said.

"B..but...do they know how long? It's seems those monsters have gotten more aggressive. Even with those hunters roaming about." Enya adds in but Ethan sighed while holding Willow's hand.

"I know but we have to keep on going because of that. Right now it's on Stand by of the cure. I just hope it will be soon before things get out of hand."

"Then it's true about what they said back in NYC? Of the infection getting worse?" Mitena said nervous but even in her voice she was afraid for her home and NYC.

"Yes. But we are not to panic. Things will be fine. They have to be.." he said looking down. Both fractions said nothing but before speaking, they saw some movement to see Willow waking up.

"Willow?" This made Ethan look but was shocked seeing her turn her head while panting.

"Willow?"

"..E...t.han....Ethan.." she whispered in her sleep but he held her hand trying to calm her down. He saw her fangs but keeps holding her hand gently while leaning down resting her forehead on her own.

"Easy it's alright...I'm here, were safe now so please rest....." he said worried but both fractions was worried. They hope she will pull through this. Just like the others.

"Hold on, where you and her-"

"Not now Zloth." both fractions said as he sweatdrops seeing this tender moment.

"That’s because I was able to finish it up before you took a break. Though, at least that’s done.” Tsulu sighed to set the hammer down. They were already done but they did get word of someone moving into the neighborhood today but no sign of them yet since the house was next to theirs so at least they will know.
