it's also kind of wild how quickly I can sort people out in my mind into "people I can be honest about my disabilities with" from "people I absolutely cannot talk about my disabilities with". and I continue to be unsurprised that the people who are in the first group for my neurodivergent shit are completely different from the people who are in that group for my chronic illness shit. what I mean to say is. "chill about autism but doesn't want to hear it when you're in pain" is a more common kind of guy than one would hope

also an update on the ADHD situation: nz only gets access to four meds, two of which are the same thing with different release times, and one nonstimulant. I've tried two! one of them made me irrationally angry and the other made me incredibly forgetful and also reacted poorly with my melatonin which has now actually caused me injuries. i'm gonna go on the fast release of my current one and if that fails, the nonstimulant. and if THAT fails, a secret fifth medication will be unlocked (nz's getting a couple more meds approved for use next year)

probably talked about this before but it is still crazy to me of phi's status as patient zero for radical-6. she is the host the virus first claims. her twin brother created the virus. she knows what it will do, knows what apocalypse will happen, but can't do anything about it. she begs diana to kill her, it's an act of mercy for both herself and the world, but diana cant do it. against her wishes she has to live she's the only character to get it at two separate instances - and she has the capacity to remember both of them. the virus's main symptom is suicidal ideation. a lot of this only happened because she had the idea to use the bomb to escape - delta forcing her to have blood on her hands as a result. there's definitely some degree of guilt involved. or what of the 3 months between ztd and april? the months she spends recovering, only to become a vessel for the next 45 years? this is the phi that ends up back at the end of vlr. the phi who unintentionally caused the very thing she swore to stop

I get a little crayz seeing this specific shot of Ivan...Ivan putting on a mask makes me crazy. It's the way his expression doesn't reach his eyes, the lack of sincerity in his smile.

But in the second image, he looks so annoyed he can barely care to school his expression and you can SEE the grimace in his eyes (EYE LINES!!!). There's such a stark difference in the persona he puts out there for people perceive him as vs how he naturally is gthybwsdgyc__(I need to see more of Ivan's natural expressions)
