Animation Epic could do the funniest thing ever and make that scene in the Halloween EP, where Bomb and OJ are sitting under the stars, slightly more romantic

#horizon zero dawn#hzd remaster#hzd photomode#hello i am (temporarily? work will eat me one of these days) back#honestly didn't play much horizon lately#mostly control and the odd glacier pic session#felt a little burnt out#but. now the remaster is out i'm being reminded why i love this game so much and god.#you can tell they tried to get it more in line with hfw visually#but it is still distinctly hzd and i could just cry at its beauty all day#can't wait to explore all the areas i've loved to bits in the original and see what they look like now#unfortunately photo mode is still a hassle but we'll make do#they added an option to turn off lens flare. i'm content#...at least i think you couldn't do that before? i remember lens flare giving me a headache regularly#maybe i'm just misremembering

Publisher Aniplex and developer TYPE-MOON have announced Fate/stay night REMASTERED, a remastered version of the PS Vita Title Fate/stay night Realta Nua for Switch and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2024 worldwide with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support.

between Dread continuing from a game on GBA (and really every game prior to that too) and Prime 4 continuing from 2 games on GameCube and Original DS, Metroid has the longest narrative endurance of any multi-creator series I've ever seen. Threads left in stasis decades ago when the series was shelved picked right back up once development resumes—an entire generation of developers later—like nothing ever happened
#metroid#time to play Hunters#I literally wrote like 2 months ago “if they do this right Sylux will be a series household name the same way Dread is now”#theyre doing it#honestly footage they showed looks like absolute garbage though.#utterly unevolved gameplay with worse graphics and animation than Prime Remastered#hopefully it's an extremely alpha engine version with overdeveloped visuals for a teaser.#pray it's another dread/luigis mansion 3/fe echoes scenario where the barebones trailer footage doesnt do the real game justice#currently a Prime Remastered romhack would look and play better than what they showed#and shots STILL dont even cast light. How are you supposed to have immersive environmental atmospherics without dynamic lighting#the Gamecube games UNDERSTOOD that. N64 GAMES UNDERSTOOD THAT#bloom and 4k rendering fog haze doesnt do anything but dilute atmosphere. clarity is what makes graphical engines feel rich#anyways samus' Prime 4 suit design is Peak. THATS Samus. not this form fitting “Zero Suit+Armor” early game bs from the new 2Ds (love u)#ALSO METROIDS ACTUALLY BEING DEPLOYED AS WEAPONS [homer rain gif]

#tbd#no...... no thank you..............#1. frankly i dont want modern bioware anywhere near that game#2. there would be way too much lost in the transfer tbqfh#visually. narratively. dialogue wise.#I know the gameplay is contentious but frankly i'd rather keep the cool abilities#we had this same conversation when inquisition came out and everybody wanted origins to be remade in frostbite#which ALSO was a horrible idea#i just. no. no thank you. i'm fine without that actually.#a remaster AT MOST. a little upscaling. some bug patches. but even then.#i'm good...... modders have done that on their own...

#like maybe youre just a fan of oblivion as it is#but im going to be so fucking honest right now the remaster is good#its faithful in terms of most every visual design#and it decided to fix the absolutely terrible leveling system#like maybe its just me but it seems like so many people are just really nostalgic for oblivion exactly as it was#and any change to it is somehow objectively bad or whatever but like#hey guys maybe the remaster isnt the end of all things and a reason to hate humanity#maybe its not for you but is otherwise perfectly fine for people who havent experienced the original for any number of reasons#oblivion remaster

I like that mgs games look the way they do because kojimas a cinephile
#the synergy achieved with mgs1 is unmatched though#snake eater remains my favorite because the story and gameplay is unmatched but visually it will always be 1#incredible visual effects and I like the camera work it manages with the engine like they really pushed what they could do with a ps1#they pushed a lot with the ps2 with sons of liberty but that was mainly gameplay imo I might be overlooking some things with it visually#I think the reason I'm already such a hater on the mgs3 remaster is that I just find it deeply ugly LMAO#I'm yappin

Ahead of the Fate/stay night 20th Anniversary Concert Finale on May 18, TYPE-MOON revealed that Fate/hollow ataraxia REMASTERED will launch in 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The release timeframe was shared in the pamphlet that will be sold at the concert. You can check out the pamphlet page mentioned below.
