obsessed with the idea that we see mark scout as "main" mark, aka the one that reintegrates mark s into his original consciousness, whereas we see helly as the "main" helena and root for helly to absorb helena into her consciousness. technically, in the case of reintegrating, helena would absorb helly and she (helly) would theoretically cease to exist which invokes a visceral feeling of denial because it feels wrong! which I think is likely based on a lot of sympathy of deserving and supposed righteousness and feelings about how this is the better version of helena, one that is a good person and therefore should be the focus in the reintegration and I think it's fascinating.
