Dreamed of Limonada by @quenepacrossing

So impressive and so effortless! Limonada is so pretty in pink, so many gorgeous buildings and villager homes. The museum and shops were so uniquely decorated. I couldn’t stop taking pics, every detail is so perfect. (Also I’m 100% stealing the Brewster gyroids as pigeons idea)

FINALLY finished my acnh island and set up my dream address so i drew my map to celebrate!! it's an urban/city theme and took me over 2 years to fully finish :)

i am forbidding myself from restarting my island because i have worked so hard to catalogue and collect diys and miles and bells and i do not want to let them go. but. i am considering changing my theme...

Probably Stardew Valley, it's the 2nd game I bought after BOTW (first game)

Any tips for a chronic restarter who desperately wants a forever island but can't seem to stick to one? 😭

Hi!💛 hmm.. haha, this is hard! bc i also see myself as a chronic restarter, im just lucky that i was able to get a switch lite as well as a regular switch and can play both ways tbh! but i was also always so into the idea of the forever island so i really get it. I also used my forever island as a way to restart without restarting by flattening it for a loooong time so i guess a tip could be to not feel pressure and just design your idea of a forever island based on how you like to play? it worked for me and by the time i was designing an island with the intention of never flattening again, i truly knew what i liked and was able to make an island i really love and dont want to change! essentially a forever island in acnh might not be the same thing as a new leaf forever town, but rather an island that reflects the type of gameplay you enjoy! that can be an island theme, a town made for gameplay and completing the museum or maybe just an island you keep bc it has all your favorite villagers💛 i really love this conversation in general tho so feel free to send another more specific ask!(that goes for everyone in general ofc💛)

i need more AC and Magicians Quest life sim "clones" in the way of like

I don't need realistic graphics!!! Just a simple cute player character and lots and lots of clothes (easier to put on simple characters!) and furniture...and I also think life sims with dating Now are kinda polarizing wrt art styles and (lack of) diversity which is why I do actually wish u cld date in AC and such (well not anymore since the franchise has gotten a bit sour to me)...

this isn't even just me "being a furry" since a lot of characters in magician's quest are like. living objects. i was dating a TV when I last played 😭 but ykwim...it's less about being a furry or w/e and more it's much easier to project traits onto "Universal" cute designs and silhouettes than hoping that 1. the art style for the human characters is pleasing to you 2. hoping there's a character that's your type 2a. picking between potentially samefaced characters 3. why's there always just one non white person 4. where are all the fat and old people 5. -

#talkys #like does this make sense? it's much easier to have for example the animal crossing cranky personality type (OLD MEN!!!!) applied #to cute nonhuman designs and have that be your old man #than to pray for a game to have a dateable old man that is ur type. bc u know if a game included one it'd just be The One #dpes this make sense. anyway i wish we had more ''clones'' or even competition in this nature #can we get some huge studios on this. please. i want acnh with acnl's furniture and environment with MQ's roster and dating #and Life.#nonhuman also works bc like idk i didn't date that TV bc it was Sexy it was just the most interesting visually and i liked talking to it #dpes this make senseeeeee #it makes it feel more organic... its also why i dont get New ac fans only wanting the cutest characters or w.e #like (hater moment) the ideal way to play is to have grown up with it and having monumentally ugly or Nada Que Ver #characters be your faves bc #you were stuck with them in your towns and you got close to them by chatting every day #OH ntm ''easier'' to make nonhuman fat characters like look at the ac penguins #(not saying fat characters are personally difficult to make but ykwim!!!!! I MISS MY BOY. COME BACK TO ME. so he moved in)#umm only other villager we had was chadder which i think my little brother picked when we shared the island #i think i remember him saying he got chadder because of dantdm...? i dont remember the details #but i got the sanrio amiibo cards which i need to stress i had wanted for YEARS. i was so fucking happy when they got a rerelease #to the point where like. i couldnt get them at first because they sold out super fast. so #i bought them from someone in twitter dms im so serious. and it fucking worked thats how i got them #anyway i wanted chai to move in because shes my fave of that set (i love cinnamoroll) but i needed someone to move out #which i always get so sad about :( but my brother offered to take chadder so i felt a little better abt it #and then i think we forgot to like. have him come get chadder in boxes. so chadder went off somewhere hope hes living a good life #thats it i think. i wish i kept a list of all my villagers ever but considering ive been playing for a decade or so now that would be. crazy #muffin mumbles
