what-if in the doomsday ep, parrot turns himself in to the mafia instead of wifies. then the next time wifies sees parrot, he is... different.

ash somehow reverted him back into animalistic behavior and made him obedient. he commands parrot to attack wifies.

wifies pleads for him to fight back, that this isn’t who he is. yet, there was no semblance of mercy in his eyes — only a thirst to kill.

now wifies is on the edge, trapped in parrot’s sharp talons. with no option left, he held out his hand towards his face. he smiled at parrot, that he loves him, that he forgives him.

...

parrot woke up from what felt like a nightmare. or maybe he never did, not after seeing what he had woken up to...

‘the children yearn for the mines’ is a little too real to me bc when i was a kid and my older siblings were trying to get me into pokémon i really never cared to try playing. BUT. i was obsessed with the underground mining minigame in dppt. i used to beg my sister to let me take a turn playing and set it up for me bc i didn’t know how to so i could go mine for gems nonstop until i cleared that entire cave section of glittering wall spots which always made me so sad bc i was having such a great time. i didn’t even understand the significance of what i was doing but 7 year old me was high off of it

Replaying the base game and main quest on a baby version of my main is very interesting. There's so much that's changed since I first played ESO but also wow I've clearly forgotten how the tedious and slow the solo, organic leveling process is, compared to how I play now

I didn't remember how slow the skill point gain is early on when you can't just zip zone to zone for skyshards

No fighters or mages guild leveling until you finish the tutorial island(s)

You are starving for gear and weapons you can actually use since you outlevel them so fast. Ending up stuck in heavy armor bc it's all that's dropping.

My bag is so tiny (as I pretend I don't have the gold for an upgrade). I can't imagine how bad this would be without a craft bag...

The main quest flow is still a little weird with the prophet immediately showing up again after finishing a quest. I have no real suggestions here for flow sadly, just minor complaints

But!!! At least there's no prologues being shoved in my face and kidnapping me to be taken to new zones. Summerset prologue kidnapping me to Auridon, stranded in Shadowfen after the Murkmire prologue, Craglorn intro quest sending me to "veteran overland" before I figured out wayshrines.... Navigating the base game without a guide was so rough.

I think if you have the Tumblr app and you make a post but you're in a dead spot and don't have enough signal to post it, Tumblr should save that post on your phone under drafts instead of disappearing it into the void
