-He’s a huge RabitsP / NazunaP and has all the CDs and merchandise. He can’t help it they’re too cute!

-He’s perpetually banned from social media for flaming people in the comments in Valkyrie-related posts (and some Nazuna ones) but they’re all from burner accounts. There’s fan groups dedicated to screenshotting and investigating Valkyrie/Nazuna “white knight” accounts to debate on whether or not they’re Shu

-He picks up smoking in France because everyone does it socially there. Drives Mika insane because he hates it.

-Romance fanatic at heart, he wants to be a sugar daddy for Mika but he’s too embarrassed to be overt about it and Mika’s too humble to accept money from Shu so he mails him gifts as a “secret admirerer” thinking this will allow him to buy Mika nice things but Mika ends up selling them for money because it “ain’t right t’accept it” and buys stuff for Shu and it just leaves him like :T

-Gives himself anon hate on the official Valkyrie accounts to “own” the haters from Mika’s account but forgets to go on anon and ends up embarrassing them both.

-He’s completely hairless. He needs to be smooth like a dolphin everywhere except the hair on his head and his eyebrows so he waxes / gets laser hair removal when he’s older. Anyways both Nazuna and Mika have experienced the horror which is helping Shu wax his legs as he’s throwing a fit about it because it hurts, as if it’s their problem that he put wax on his legs in the first place.

-Obnoxiously picky eater, but he’ll eat something if it’s being fed to him directly in a cute way “say aah~ Oshi-san” he’s so embarrassing.

-Everything Nazuna left at his place when they broke up, Shu kept. He tried to bait him to come over with items like “oh Nito you must be absolutely barren without your favorite bracelet [it’s not even his favorite it’s just another inappropriately priced gift Shu got him], return here at once and I shall gift it to thee!” and every time Nazuna’s just like “gross, get a life Itsuki” Unfortunately this includes other things like underwear or pajamas or hand lotions and other random items that Shu keeps in his Nito box.

-He has all of Mika’s graveur photoshoot pictures printed out. Good thing Chiaki and Kuro didn’t find those under his bed too…

tonight's 12am idea was to archive the Vex Magic Grimoire on its own neocities page, and an hour later, this is what I have. :D

I do want to make proper gallery pages so I can display the page scans and transcripts properly, but I gotta learn how to code those kinda pages first. XD

For now, it just has links to each of the finished entries so far so you can see them all in one place. I'll keep that list of links updated as I work on the rest of the site.

If you have any feedback on the site itself please do let me know! I threw this together in an hour or so and it's Not Amazing, but it looks okay for what it is, I think.

I wanted to address some of the points your previous asker made https://www.tumblr.com/carto0ncritter/766355644544696320/i-just-want-to-say-that-i-personally-disagree-with, but I kept getting bogged down in the quagmire of it all. In the end I gave up and just let it be long - apologies for the wall of text but I'm tired of seeing the fandom repeat talking points similar to IRL apologia whenever someone isn't a perfect enough victim for them.

1 A fixation on "if Blitzo could say no in this or that specific instance, that 'proves' every other yes was freely given"

This line of argumentations fixated on the idea that if Blitzo wasn't shaking with fear and unable to refuse Stolas every time, he must have felt safe and able to consent every time. But there's a wilful disregard for how the deal works - the basic arrangement is Blitzo gives Stolas the book on the full moon and then they have sex.

The times Blitzo feels able to say no either fall outside that arrangement (Ozzie's being a one-off night out where Blitzo STILL felt the need to apologize for not wanting sex which doesn't say much for how safe he feels to refuse, and dragged a hand over his face when Stolas started talking like he was dreading dealing with Stolas trying to make a move on him) or because Stolas himself gave Blitzo an out. Blitzo wasn't taking months off until Stolas gave him the option, because it's Stolas who holds all the power and what he says, goes. We don't see Blitzo demand a night off and Stolas hand it to him before then - Blitzo phrases it explicitly as Stolas giving him nights off from 'having to' (i.e. a mandatory chore he has to do when asked) sleep with him.

Likewise all the texts show this same dynamic - once s2 happens Stolas is trying to get Blitzo to want to voluntarily spend time with him but Blitzo explicitly says in one text 'It's ur night' because that's how it's worked until now and he had no reason to think otherwise; the deal hadn't ended yet so Blitzo believed the terms were still in effect.

Side note - there's a specific mention of a shot during All 2 U when Blitzo - according to OP - refuses to stay after sex, proving he can say no. First off, saying no only counts if it's before sex, not for cuddling. Again, cuddling falls outside the deal.

And more importantly, I'm wondering if this is the shot being referred to:

If so, it boggles my mind anyone would use this as 'evidence' that Blitzo could always say no.

Really look at this shot: Blitzo's eyes are narrowed to slits and he looks furious & degraded. It's hard to tell if Blitzo is angry because of the sex he was just forced to have, or he's angry because Stolas is trying to get more out of him while he's trying to leave. Either way I don't see how anyone can look at that expression and think 'there's a man who just had sex/was asked to have sex he's totally enthusiastic about!' Any other show, any other fandom, this would be universally understood as a depiction of the moment right after coerced sex i.e. rape. If there is a single instance of Blitzo not wanting to do it but feeling like he has to, then that is rape. Period. Kill shot. End of discussion. No amount of 'he said no one time/he enjoyed it one time' fixes that or 'proves' all of them were fine. Consent is a case by case basis.

2 Blitzo had other options besides the Grimoire

This feels unrelated tbh; it's edging into 'well Blitzo could have done something else so having sex extorted out of him is his fault!' But to respond quickly:

The crystals existing doesn't mean Blitzo understood 100% how they worked or if he'd be able to use one (he says 'a what now?' or something when Stolas gave him one) or if it was a succubi-only thing and he has no reason to assume Ozzie would just hand him one (especially not once he knows Fizz works with him). By comparison Stolas had a book about them in his library all along apparently, is a prince on friendly terms with Ozzie so in a way better position to ask and had more incentive not to want to risk his book. But he didn't because he knew he could use his book to get sex.

Likewise saying Blitzo could just do Hell assassinations ignores what little worldbuilding around the economy there is. It's well established assassins doing Hell-based missions are more common while offering to kill Earth targets is a USP that brings in a steady client base that helped Blitzo found a business and rent an office (both things it's repeatedly said imps don't normally do). Stolas was under no obligation to let him keep the book, of course, but no one was forcing him to make a favors for favors deal to get sex out of Blitzo (and s2 adding Asmodean Crystals makes the idea that he didn't want to hurt Blitzo's business look 100% false: his only motivation for quid-pro-quoing this is unambiguously to get sex; him framing it as 'supporting' Blitzo is self-aggrandizing narcisstic nonsense).

3 Blitzo is shown wanting sex and wanting Stolas back in Full Moon/Apology Tour

This is a thing the writers like doing - backfilling stuff that should have been shown way earlier in order to rewrite the story into anything they need it to be that second.

S1 Blitzo's attitude to Stolas alternates between repulsed, indifferent and enjoying the power he has over Stolas by being the dominant one. He straight up glares at him like he despises him after Stolas yanks on his face in Truth Seekers (not to mention the chain vision implies he feels trapped and degraded). S2 Blitzo just seems…idk, annoyed by him some of the time? They don't exactly get on better. Then Oops backfills Stolas is being a totally nice person on the phone now and Apology Tour tries to insert flashbacks to stuff we should've seen in the show - i.e. Blitzo actually enjoying his company. Inserting the good times after the two characters have a falling out is totally backwards - we need the actual care and attraction establishing beforehand, not after. Stolas laughing at some of Blitzo's jokes and Blitzo worrying Stolas can actually get hurt is such a bare minimum floor for a ship

As it is the change is so abrupt it's just as easy to argue Stolas has made Blitzo believe all he's good for is sex (and he's panicking because Stolas has cut him off twice now without attempting to talk things out or apologize for any of his demeaning, objectifying behavior, which would make anyone think they aren't even good enough to exploit anymore and that they deserve to be mistreated without explanation) or that Stolas ending the arrangement just set off his abandonment complex. That and trauma bonding is a thing that could definitely happen with a 'relationship' as toxic as this one. Putting it short, the writing is so poor that even though they obviously want us to think Blitzo actually likes Stolas it's kind of hard to tell what he even likes about him or when it started.

4 The closing point

So the original post ends on "it's pretty clear that Blitzo at no point felt coerced into having sex with Stolas, and the people that claim otherwise I have good grounds to believe aren't even watching the same show anymore."

On some level that's true, because Helluva isn't the same show anymore.

Season 1 opened with an episode where Blitzo couldn't give informed consent to Stolas' deal because his life was in danger and his business was being threatened, and Stolas knew all of that. He could see Blitzo was injured and hear the gunshots along with Blitzo whispering and telling him repeatedly to get to the point. He took a hurried 'fine, whatever!' as consent.

He ignored Blitzo telling him not to hit on him at Loo Loo Land (multiple times) - the fact Blitzo seemed legitimately worried Stolas would try to 'diddle his holes' while Stolas' daughter was there speaks volumes to just how safe he felt around Stolas. Harvest Moon has a similar arc - Blitzo takes Stolas' invite in good faith and in return gets demeaned in front of a crowd of imps. Once again he feels so disrespected by Stolas by the end of the episode he explicitly mentions the 'thirsty owl onstage' as the reason why he didn't go to the harvest moon ceremony and had Striker not hurt M&M, he probably could have persuaded Blitzo into joining him. He feels so safe around Stolas, apparently, that when Stolas asks for a reward after saving him he immediately assumes Stolas expects Blitzo to pay him with his body - something which Stolas immediately agrees to. All this culminates in the season finale where he uses Stolas to get into a club and is surprised when Stolas tries to talk to him like a person for once. He's never done that before.

But the damage is done by then. He drops Stolas off, looks desperate to be able to leave when he thinks Stolas is going to try and get sex out him (like always), then tells Stolas all he wants is for Blitzo to fuck him and he makes that really clear 'all the time'.

But what in a decent show would be a condemnation of Stolas' behavior because Blitzo did feel coerced into sex at several points (read: the whole first season, actully) was in fact the writers trying to make the viewers feel sorry for Stolas - a fact that's only come into sharper and more awful focus the more they double down on making Stolas the saddest prince to ever exist in s2 and throw everyone else under the bus to do it.

Finishing off, there's really only one thing I can say left to anyone still insisting the writers aren't trying to retcon the rape ship that they wrote. And that's this:

What Stolas has done to Blitzo is the definition of quid pro quo sexual coercion.

To quote from a source:

Quid pro quo sexual harassment occurs when employment, pay, benefits, title, position or other opportunities for advancement or training are conditioned on the submission to unwelcome sexual advances. Whether the harassment is explicit or implicit, it is illegal.

Read that again - when employment is on the condition of submission to unwelcome sexual advances. That's literally what the deal is - Blitzo keeps his job if he sleeps with Stolas. And as we've seen in most of s1, the advances are unwelcome. Even if Blitzo had been more enthusiastic from the start, his job would still depend on keeping Stolas sexually gratified.

A dynamic like that is always going to be prone to abuse no matter how many 'but Blitzo enjoyed it this one time!!' caveats the writers stick on it, because if he had a day where he wasn't feeling into it he would feel obliged to hide his feelings and sleep with Stolas anyway because his livelihood literally depends on it. That isn't informed consent. And this rhetoric is pernicious and should go the way of the dodo

Zanmataisei Demonbane (2023) characters profile. Chapter 1: Vortex blaster

Long Explanation: This is a translation made by me of the concept book of the future (I hope) third instance of the Demonbane visual novel franchise. So a little confusing for those who don't know the original novel or the Cthulhu Mythos. But I still recommend reading it because (it was a lot of work hihihi) the profiles are really cool and incredible, besides serving as inspiration for OCs (at least for me). Additionally, some things like "Living God of Destruction" are explained in the character profiles of later chapters. This book was supposed to have come out in 2018-2019 but for some reason it was only released in 2022. The book is basically short stories and concepts of characters that maybe one day can come out of the paper and become a game in fact. I revised the text many, many times and made some adaptations to make the text understandable. I took some things as a basis from "Demonbanian" mythology and from japanese sites. The most complicated part was the Chinese segment (in chapter 7) and the archetype texts (Chaos, Space, Lawful, etc.). I found out at the end that there were already people who had translated chapters 1 and the 8 only in 2023. But since I had already translated everything, I didn't want to waste it. It is similar to the relationship between the grimoire girls and they mages, but if the base body is completely destroyed, the mind will also die. It was the flagship of the former Divine Space Army's Dreamland Fleet and the throne ship of dream King lek-Vad. By riding the Hypnos Stream, a tidal current of star- forming particles that flow like a web between the stars, it becomes possible to travel between stars faster than the speed of light.

In her young female form, Nordens is an embodiment of goodness, with a pure mind and a brave soul and Holy Silver Arms that will never gives up.

Sage. Old God. Neutral good. The Hermit (upright)

The one who sits on the Opal Throne in the Dreamland city of Irek- Vad. Grand Admiral leading the Dreamland Fleet of the Old God Space Army. Former Earthling* . Leaps are particles that can only be sensed by sleeping creatures and feline creatures. Those with the ability to sense the leaps* can secure a route as a biocombustible are called Voyagers. King Irek-vad is also one of the Voyagers flying through space on Nodens. In the final battle with the Living God of Destruction, he releases his powers using the Yog-Sothop Silver Key at the cost of his life. The moment before the world was destroyed by the Living God of Destruction was extended infinitely, allowing the world to continue to exist with barely a trace. He is a handsome middle-aged gentleman with silver hair and cat ears/nekomimi.

The God of magic. Possesses the power of "Destroying Evil and Revealing Righteousness." (Haja Manifestation) is the ability to negate a certain law and replace it with your own law. It destroys illusions. In the final battle with the Living God of Destruction, he uses (Haja Manifestation) to temporarily seal the power residing in the Living God's right palm. However, (Haja Manifestation) is the power to sever evil that belongs to assimilates with all who have * and the Living God of Destruction ability, so Odin was taken over by the Living God of Destruction after using (Haja Manifestation).

slither of dark moon left unseen. one step away from full power

best for: one phase away from full, hone in on intentions/goals/actions.

make sure you are paying attention to details and staying mindful of what is externally and internally happening

Full Moon:

Big boy moon. Full power. can tap into her energy to help gain insight or to 💫manifest💫. most powerful time of the moon

best for: manifestations, adding more power to your intentions. good for rituals/spells. great time for releasing or banishing rituals, manifestations spells and meditation. good for charging and cleansing. Moon water

winding down of moons power. sun is moving away and taking its light with it.

best for: take a deep breath and surrender to whatever happened and what is beyond your power. don't beat yourself up if you didn't complete any of your goals. dust yourself off and pick yourself up and get ready for a new cycle. Remember to be kind and compassionate to yourself.

Yandere Ultear Milkovich

🕰I feel like it would depend on whether we're talking about Pre-timeskip and post-timeskip Ultear. I feel like before finding out the truth of her mother, Ultear would be a lot more possessive and ruthless when it comes to her s/o. She's experienced the pain of being abandoned and losing her mother which might indicate that she has the underlying fear to be left by her darling as well but she never shows it due to a belief that if she shows weakness, you'll explore it. Due to her anxiety Ultear is rather controlling and keeps you with her whenever she isn't on missions for Hades or somewhere else and Meredy is tasked to keep an eye out for you if she isn't there. Manipulative and not afraid to intimidate her s/o, even if Ultear is considerate and calm most of the times. Whilst she is aware of her obsession in this time, I feel like she'd be too overwhelmed with her emotions to really just let her darling leave.

🕰Post-timeskip Ultear is a different story because she is so much more laid back and feels guilty without an end for her crimes. She's more of a stalker and approaches her s/o seldom. It's a bit like a Itachi scenario where she knows that she might bring her darling in troubles if someone would find out that she has visited you and to top it, Ultear is too ashamed to really show her face in front of you. She's aware of her mistakes and her obsession, believes that she doesn't really deserve someone as kind as you who hasn't done anything wrong. She doesn't want to drag you into her mess and past so she stays away from you for the biggest part. See her more as a silent guardian angel who watches over when she isn't away with Jellal and Meredy.

🕰Pre-timeskip Ultear knows that she has a certain rank among other members of Grimoire Heart as someone who has mastered the Arc of Time but that doesn't stop her from wanting to isolate you a bit. Less for selfish reasons though but more because she views other members of the guilt as freaks and as danger to you. Meredy is the only one who she's completely fine with being around you and maybe Hades a bit since he took her under his wings. She views jealousy as petty so the times where she does get jealous, she'll most likely downplay it. Given that she is already a calm woman during that time, she's less jealous and more protective due to the guilt she is in. Post-timeskip Ultear is even more composed and probably someone in a rather selfless category. She just wants her darling to have a happy life and doubts that she can fill that empty spot next to you. There is no denial that she would feel jealous if she would notice that you are really close to someone but it's more bittersweet for her than anything.

🕰Pre-timeskip Ultear would definitely kill fo her darling. She's committed so much atrocities already due to her ambitions and she'll commit even more for you. Members in Grimoire Heart all know that you are Ultear's darling so most wouldn't try anything funny though certain members do like to rile her up a bit by attempting to get close to you. It's a really ruthless era of hers to the point where she will murder in cold blood if someone tries to hurt you since she is at her core a bit paranoid. Post-timeskip Ultear, finished with being a sinner, isn't out to kill people unless it is for the greater good. If her darling has problems, she usually solves them behind the shadows and Meredy is supporting her whenever she can. She goes more with sabotage, mostly with the help of her magic, or intimidating and scaring someone.

🕰Pre-timeskip Ultear is almost guaranteed to kidnap her s/o due to her possessiveness and paranoia. In the time she was away from her mother, Ur adopted two kids and Ultear was convinced that she had been replaced and abandoned so she fears what will happen if she leaves you alone for a longer and what she will find when she comes back. It spurs her to kidnap her darling even if she'd prefer to manipulate them into joining her instead of going instantly with brute force. Nothing is holding her back from using violent methods though but she has so many weapons at her arsenal that it probably isn't even needed. Post-timeskip Ultear wouldn't interfere with your life at all if I'm being honest. Even if you'd want to travel with her, she'd push you forcefully away since he path and journey isn't yours to take. She comes to visit when she can though.

🕰No matter which time, Meredy is always going to be the no. 1 supporter of this relationship. She knows Ultear very well and realizes even during the Grimoire Heart times that she has a soft spot for you and she wants her to be happy which requires keeping you and making you comfortable around her. Her pink-haired friend is also constantly arguing with Ultear when both of them join Crime Sorciére since she doesn't buy Ultear's philosophy of not deserving love after all crimes she's committed. Jellal isn't as pushy as their comrade and for that it's easier to converse peacefully with him. Ultear lets you ultimately decide whether or not you want her face anywhere near you since she takes after a while the, either couragous or just stupid, step to tell you the truth about who she is. Even if you'd still want her, she'd constantly feel like you're too good for her.

Headcannons:

• Rae would risk wielding multiple miraculous at a time, even if they couldn't handle it or one was broken

• Caspian got his miraculous later. When they found it, Rae wanted to give it to Cas so if he was ever in a situation like the prison again, he'd have a safe way out back home. Also he could stop getting lost.

• After his work with Enderian, Centross didn't use his miraculous often and after he accidentally killed Chaos, he renounced ownership of it. He wore it again once he learned the truth and for the Warden fight but went back to not using it much after the reset.

• Sherbert would be the one to figure out how to make the "power-ups"

• Momboo made sentimonsters to watch over her kids and friends

• Will was given his miraculous by his dad to help protect him

• Athena and Jamie are making all the best food for the kwamis

• Sherbert renounced their miraculous after Corruption. It took them a while to wear it again, but they didnt use it. After they got their memories back in S2 they didn't want to use their miraculous again for a while.

• The Rabbit miraculous fell with the Aether and Hayley found it in Purgatory. She didn't come back with it though

• During Season one, (corrupted) Sherbert tried to "task" Seven with using Second Chance during the tower fight. He made the decision not to.

• Parts of the Grimoire are scattered in libraries

• Athena's miraculous broke, thus making them get sick. They were able to repair the miraculous and heal them in time, but Athena still needs a cane to walk.

• Perix had the Fox miraculous and would offer its power to those that helped her. After they defeated her, everyone agreed to keep it safe, only wearing for times of complete necessary. It remains inactive.

• To make sure Sherbert couldn't Cataclysm their way out of prison (season 1) Seven temporarily held the Dog miraculous and used its power to take Sherberts ring.

• Even though he wouldn't have used it, Sherbert took Centross' miraculous off him during his Prison 2.0 time.

• Caspian uses his miraculous to take Rae and Aax to cute fate places.

• Caspian still isn't good with directions and using the horse miraculous actually makes it worse, since he's going straight from A to B rather than knowing where to go to get there

• Rae attempted to fix the End Islands with the Ladybug miraculous, but had to learn that it doesn't work like that

• Will's miraculous was one of the main reasons he was able to survive attacks in the Ominous Bane fight.

• Sherbert is a secondary/ temporary holder of the Rooster miraculous and used the Monkey to try Quixes research

• Momboo confiscated Jamie's miraculous when going into the bunker

• They had only heard of the Butterfly miraculous but when they met Ulysses they finally got to see it

• Arisanna uses her miraculous a little aggressively (trapped Rae in it when they first met)

Grimoire🦂🩸 - your tommy sounds a bit like me. And if they ARE anything like me, then I know they often feel guilty for lashing out at you and the others, because especially after... everything. That I/they went through. It changed us. It made us more defensive and bitter and sharp and everything started to feel like an attack. And logically I know that it wasn't always personal. But after Wil and Him and exile and the prison and everything in between, I feel like it made me worse. And maybe your tommy was different, but it sounds like they and I came out of everything in a similar headspace.

If your tommy is anything like me, they're sorry. And they feel awful every time they lashed out. But we were hurting and it was never your fault and we didn't mean it. I swear we didn't. And even if we felt attacked in the moment I know that after your tommy took some time to calm down they knew that you never meant to hurt them.

If your tommy is anything like me, they knew that you were trying your best. They... we were a tough case. We were difficult, me and a lot of other tommys. And we know you did your best to accommodate and understand and work with it but we didn't exactly make it easy.

So I guess. Thank you for caring about us. Thank you for doing what you could to make your tommy feel loved because I know that they felt it. And I know that your tommy knew that you didn't ever mean to hurt them. And I promise we didn't mean to hurt you in return. We just... well. You know how we are. Sort of a prick.

You're a good person, grimoire, and I know your tommy thinks so too. Do not forget that.

I just read the rose grimoire translation and wow. I keep going back and rereading it because it’s very intense. You’ve done a great job of portraying the rose witch’s feelings— her desperation, her longing and her love in all forms. Somehow you made her tale sound confusing but also have depth. The way you kept the motif of love and beauty in such a sad story was very skillful. This piece of lore was complex and made me feel nostalgic for some reason and I applaud you. I’m sure the other witches’ stories will be just as intriguing. Though it does suck that selkies are basically extinct because of human greed and lust. That’s the part that stuck with me the most. Probably because it’s very real and has happened before in history. Sorry about the rambling, this wasn’t meant to be this long

I was inspired by the way Twist keeps to real life by discussing issues pertaining to actual modern or past events, but in a way that fits a fantasy realm and tried my best to follow its lead. The witch’s tale is intentionally set to be confusing since she’s telling it in an oral style so it suffers at the hands of her lack of focus and instinct to repress the horror she had to endure. 

And yes! Unfortunately human intervention has often led to many tragedies occurring in history, and some by wilful maliciousness, rather than just ignorance or stupidity. The theme is a bit dark, but I wanted to do justice to the tales of selkies that we hear about in folklore. I’m glad to see that it worked!

What do you think of the idea of Mika self harming?

Sorry if this is a sensitive and weird thing to ask, but I was just curious if you had any thoughts on it. What do you think of the idea of Mika self harming? What would Shu's reaction be if he ever found out? I've seen people talk about it, since Mika always wears long sleeves, even in Summer. So, I was curious if you had any thoughts about it?

My Response:

I think he might have before he joined Valkyrie, but it lessened a lot once he joined because during ex valk it was the first time he truly felt wanted and like he belonged to something, and then during nursing era he had to devote a lot of his energy to taking care of Shu and because Shu needed him I think that curbed some of his insecurity about being unwanted and useless…

I do think Shu's reaction would depend on whether or not it happened before or after Mika joined Valkyrie, and also if it was a reaction to something like a fight of theirs, vs Mika doing it while Shu was away in France. I think in all cases Shu would have a bit of a "tough love" attitude and scold him for it, but depending on how severe / recent it was he might get a bit angrier. I think he'd see the scars pre-Valkyrie as a "defect" so Mika would go out of his way to hide them so Shu wouldn't have to look at them, reinforcing his whole "I'm a broken doll" thing.

I think it could be interesting to explore in late/post ! era in reference to "humanity", as humans bleed. I think he might have an unhealthy fascination with watching it happen but he gets really guilty because he knows Shu really hates when he does it.

I think after Shu's initial scolding for whatever happens, if Mika is currently not hurting himself and self conscious about his scars I think Shu would be a bit softer about them, since they're a permanent part of his body and part of accepting the humanity of someone is accepting all their flaws. I think if he tried to touch them, Mika would flinch away because he'd be afraid that Shu was going to yell at him, but I think the most he'd get at that point would be a mild scolding.

For !! era where they're living far apart, if Mika was still hurting himself then Shu would have to check up on him. He'd feel guilty about making Shu stay up all night with him, and Shu might even complain about it but deep down he's really worried for Mika so if staying up all night on call with him would help him not do anything, I think he would. He gets Mika some nice skincare products to help them fade a bit as part of maintenance.

I am SO glad others feel this way.

May I add that most of the initial distrust for Solomon, if I recall correctly, comes from Lucifer season 1. SPOILERS ahoy, but

Lucifer has the audacity to say Solomon isn't trustworthy all the while lying to us. While Lucifer is constantly threatening us. Lucifer isn't just lying to us though. He's using lies, deceit, intimidation, and his own secretive/private nature to hide what's going on with Belphie from all of his brothers including Beel, essentially incomplete without Belphie. He is doing this to the liege he SWORE to serve in exchange for his sister's continued existence.

Whether you agree with his reasoning or not, Lucifer is being SHADY AF entire season 1, and Solomon hasn't done shit to ANYONE at this point. So why is everyone just taking the known liar's word about it?

Plus, the other bros seem mostly wary of Solomon for other reasons. It seems to be a mix of distrust of humans, distrust of a human who has a lot of pacts, his wilful ignorance about his cooking being off putting, and Solomon's complicated relationship history with Asmo.

Which I get. If someone I loved had a complicated relationship with someone, I would have complicated feelings about that person. But Asmo and Barbatos (the demons we know to ACTUALLY be in a pact with and ACTUALLY know Solomon) seem to be very happy in their pacts. Solomon is even entrusted with Barbatos' grimoire, and Asmo is SO excited that Solomon will be in DD for a while year. So I have to conclude that the other bros are mostly judging Solomon on what they've heard and not real evidence that he is shady.

Also Diavolo and Simeon seem to trust Solomon very much.

Solomon is more than just a “shady” sorcerer as he actually cares very deeply for MC and wants to have a special connection with them whether it’s platonic or romantic, and he always has their best interests at heart and genuinely looks out for them and it’s not fair that the brothers are always so suspicious of him when all he wants to do is have his own special bond with MC.
