So I've been re-reading "The Raven and the Snake" and I love Clora and Seb together. Unfortunately, I am not much of an artist - unless you count stick figures wearing top hats as art - but it has inspired me to get back into writing. So I guess my ask is, if I wrote something inspired by Clora/Seb, would you be okay if I posted it?

OMG YES YES OF COURSE!! 😭😭🧎‍♀️& gonna highjack this to say @magic-in-onyx is actually working on an older seb/clora curse-breaker story rn, and i consider it canon and got so inspired i drew a 5 page comic based on it that ill post along with it when its ready!!

I like to think in demon world they don't have viki,( yes I know, flawed logic as they seem to have extensive knowledge about how to seduce modern audiences with boy bands - but let me cook) so Rumi I'm thinking exposes Jinu to her favorite kdramas.

Tommy tilts his head back a little, just enough to keep blood from running into his eye any more than it already has, not enough to make it impossible for Evan to inspect his handiwork. He can tell the injury is not immediately serious, knows a scratch to the head will bleed like a stuck pig and that he would have noticed by now if his skull had been cracked or if he had lost an eye.

Evan must have realized the same, his fingers having smoothed Tommy’s hair away from his face, a thumb gently redirecting the flow away from his eyes. There is, however, still no smug satisfaction, no pride for having bloodied him on the young knight’s face. He will not meet Tommy’s eyes at all, gaze fixed firmly on the wound as though he is attempting to will it closed through thought alone. He looks guilty, ashamed.

“Water,” Tommy says, voice rougher than he expects it to be. Blue eyes blink at him in confusion. “If you want to help, fetch some water. I will find something for bandages.”

Evan shakes his head then, hands dropping away from Tommy’s face. “You are still bleeding. I will stitch it closed.”

“You know how to stitch a wound?”

Evan’s eyes finally meet his, then, and that glint of defiant determination is back. “I am not as useless as I look.”

“You do not look useless.” Tommy wonders if he can blame the blood leaving his head for the way he speaks before he thinks. “You hold your own well.”

Evan frowns at him, swiping the sweat away from his brown and inadvertently anointing himself with Tommy’s blood. “I tripped over my own feet like you said I would, and then I managed to strike you in the process.”

“A strike is a strike.”

“It was not meant to be one.” Evan’s jaw is clenched.

Blood drips into Tommy’s eye again and he curses under his breath. “Stitches it is.”

The young knight tucks away his frustration and shoulders his duty between one breath and the next. “Do you have wine, for rinsing?”

Tommy huffs. “We are not wasting wine on this. Boil water instead.”

“Boiling water takes too long.”

“Vinegar, then,” Tommy acquiesces. “But boil water for bandages. None of my undershirts are clean.”

I finally moved on from Viatica and can breathe again. You hurt me in ways I did not think were possible. .... Now onto Cantata, because I want more hurt.
