Probably the last post I’ll be getting out of this before it’s out there in the world, so a final little teaser from the Henry POV. 🤍

The edges of the room are starting to go a little fuzzy, and he cannot reasonably blame the champagne he has yet to so much as sip; no, this is the effect of pure Alex Claremont-Diaz to the bloodstream. “How is that what this boils down to?”

writing this would take way more research into the Victorian British school system and how class and age would dictate hierarchy within it and whether they would even be in school at the same time than I'm in the mood to do, but for the hell of it imagine an AU where Albert is Mycroft's fag at Eton. And again, not doing the research here, but I'm imagining Mycroft as not cruel but not kind either; young and a little too keen on having a little lordling at his beck and call when it seems like he came from humbler roots himself. So he's a bit demanding, a bit bossy. There's never anything overtly sexual about it at that point, just Weird Adolescent Feelings on Albert's part (a 4 year gap is a bit much for me when it comes to teens) but then when they meet again as adults they're becoming friends and learning about each other as equals but there's some part of Albert that still feels like he should be on his knees, shining Mycroft's shoes.......

Let me know who your favorite is! Cuz I genuinely can't choose, they all look amazing and it makes me love them all even more. I mean Mason look so friendly, he totally looks like the kind of guy I'd wanna be friends with. Imamu has a sort of smug air to him, but he's sooooo handsome (and he knows it, damn). Ugh, I just fucking love all of them.

One headcanon that I will take to my grave of the three children of Zeus that chose immortality (Herakles, Thalia and Dionysus)

Is that none of them truly wanted immortality they just didn't want to die

Thalia with being next in line of the prophecy would of either killed her or killed everyone else so she had to choose the hunters and give it to Percy

Dionysus with being a son of Zeus AND a part of Cadmus's (and Harmonia's) family line made him doomed from the start so he had to become a god

Herakles with being a son of Zeus and the whole poison shirt thing had his choices of dying painfully and slowly (?) or becoming a god, so he had to become a god

Hell 2 of those likely didn't get a choice
