Visiting Baji's grave doesn't bring Kazutora any comfort. He'd once thought it might, that he might feel closer to Baji here. For 10 years he'd thought it might. But the first time he'd visited had destroyed that idealistic thought in a swift blow. He feels closer to Baji on the edge of rooftoops than he does in front of this headstone. It feels so impersonal here among all the other graves. Nothing about this is Keisuke. Maybe it would be different if Kazutora had gotten to see the goodbye ceremonies, but he doubts it.

" Hey Kei. " Kazutora sits down in front of the grave, staring at the headstone before he gives a slow exhale. He's not sure where to begin. Where would he start if he was writing a letter? That thought doesn't help him, it just reminds him of how long its been since he's written a letter to Baji. He still has them too, all of the letters from Baji. He chews his bottom lip and turns around, till he feels the stone base against his lower back. It reminds him of times when things were too much and Kazutora would sit back to back with Baji fingers laced together. Sometimes they talked. Sometimes they didn't. Sometimes just Kazutora talked. Sometimes it was Baji telling him dumb ass stories or giving really crappy episode recaps.

He stares at the cloudy sky and sighs. " It's hard, you know? " He admits after a moment. " The holidays are rough. You're not here. Some of it is lonely. " That isn't anything particularly new though, it's been like that most of his life. " Though you would've laughed your ass off at Chifuyu trying to get some of the animals into the holiday outfits. It was hilarious. " He cracks a smile at that. He had videos of that saved on his phone. " We totally would've made you dress up ridiculously. " Baji never could say no to Kazutora anyways, even if he would complain to the high heavens.

He draws his knees up closer to his chest, gold eyes flicking around the headstones. He's free to be here, but there's still a nervousness to it. The thought of seeing anyone from Toman here makes dread curl in his stomach, like he's a tiger that snuck into town rather than being welcomed in. " The pet store is doing really well. Chifuyu puts a lot of hard work into it, but the customers are always praising it and the animals are always happy. Except for bath time. " His smile reappears and then fades away. " Was that his dream too? Or was it just yours that he's carrying out for you? " He asks the silence; he won't ever get an answer. And he won't ask Chifuyu.

" It's nice to work at. I like seeing all the animals, and helping the more wary ones warm up to people. " That's old news though. He taps his fingers, as if it will help the words come to the surface. " Sorry. There's things I want to say, but it feels weird here. We'll talk on the rooftop tonight, 'kay? "

Kazutora stretches his legs out but still doesn't turn around. " Chifuyu...I worry for him. My problems aren't for him to concern himself over. " At least, not unless they affected Chifuyu. He had done more than enough just taking him in for a while and offering him a job. " He should be enjoying this life he's made over the last twelve years. " But that's easier said than done isn't it? Especially when the reason you can't is standing beside you, working with you. " I don't know if me being around is making things worse for him. I think it might be. He misses you a lot. " He thought it'd be you with him at Pah's wedding. Every step of the way in life probably.

He sighs, pushing himself up from the hard ground and back onto his feet. " To be honest, I'm not really sure how well I fit into this lifestyle. " He admits. " I guess you always dreamed about this sort of life. I never really did " The future had always seemed bleak, so he'd clung onto moments instead. " It's not bad, I'm not unhappy. It's just...." How does he even explain it? " I worry Chifuyu will blame himself if I do something or think he hasn't done enough when he has. I don't want to drag him down. " Kazutora had already done enough to not deserve everything as it was.

" I dunno. I've had some thoughts. I'll see you tonight, okay? At the usual spot. " Only then does he glance over his shoulder to smile weakly at Baji, sitting on top of the headstone watching him with a frown. Ah damn. He was wearing the Valhalla jacket this time. Kazutora lingers a moment longer before he turns, walking back down the path. Would it ever feel better visiting here? He was doubting it. Maybe next time he'd try flowers.

Warnings: slightly aggressive behaviour (mostly yelling)

Genre: angst to fluff

Draken

- draken is usually a really patient person and arguments get resolved through mature conversations

- because of this, any disagreements are solved with no hard feelings, but not today apparently

- seeing you flinch absolutely broke his heart because he's supposed to be protecting you!!!

- definitely talks about it with you afterwards cuz he feels so guilty :(((

"It's like I don't even matter to you anymore. It's always 'mikey' 'mikey' 'mikey', you're out in danger because of him and you always come home super late and you completely ignore me, I'm literally your boyfriend" you ramble on frustratingly. Draken groans, already having had a rough and tiring day. His headache kept getting worse and worse as you were going on about god knows what.

"Y/n, just drop it for fucks sake, I'm tired" he sighs. You scoff at his reply. "So you have all the time in the world for mikey and toman but not for me? Do I even matter to you anymore?" you begin raising your voice, causing his headache to get worse.

He abruptly gets up and raises his voice as well. "I said drop it already" he says with anger in his voice. Immediately, he notices that it comes out more aggressive than he intended but in that flash second, he saw you flinch. Right then and there he felt his heart shatter into pieces.

"Y/n, baby, fuck" he quickly walks up to you, bringing you into a hug as you felt tears welling in your eyes. "I'm so sorry, I'm so so so sorry, fuck I shouldn'tve lashed out on you like that, im so sorry" he whispers as he holds onto you softly, as if you're made of glass.

"No I'm sorry, I shouldn'tve brought this up in the first place" you reply with a sniffle. "Don't apologise, you're my boyfriend and your concerns matter to me" he replies back. "Let's just go to sleep, we'll talk about it in the morning" you mumble out. With a nod, he picks you up and takes you to your shared room, laying down beside you as you both drift off into sleep.

Baji

- baji has quite the temper, I mean, he literally sets cars on fire when he's hungry

- but he never, EVER, lets himself direct that anger towards you, he loves and cherishes you too much to do that

- he's so protective of you and he does everything he can to make you feel safe, so seeing you flinch destroyed him

- he would never forgive himself :(( he'd feel too guilty, even after you assure him that you're fine

"Baji, I told you to be more safe when you're with toman. Seeing you all bruised up like this breaks my heart, you know that" you sigh as you tend to his wounds.

"I know that, but I had no other choice!! My friends were in danger, what more could I've done???" Baji replies, feeling emotional over the fight he got into. You're a bit taken aback at how he responds. "Okay, okay, calm down. There's no need to be like that, just make sure to be more sa-"

"They're my friends, I couldn't just abandon them like that!!!!" he yells back, feeling frustrated that you're egging him on about this. Now that you were definitely not expecting. His sudden tone caused you to flinch, but you quickly tried to cover it up.

You weren't as slick as you thought you were, because Baji definitely noticed. "Y/n..? Fuck, wait, no please, I didn't mean to startle you like that, please" he says, pulling you into a hug. Tears well up in his eyes, feeling even more heartbroken that his sudden burst caused that reaction out of you.

"I'm so so so sorry, fuck y/n I did mean to startle you like that. I'm so sorry" he says as he hides his face in the crook of your neck. "I understand if you don't wanna forgive me, I'm so sorry" he says as he keeps holding onto you.

"It's fine Baji, really" you whisper as you keep brushing his hair. "I know how important your friends are to you, I'm sorry if I came on too strong about it" you pull away and give him a kiss, wiping away his stray tears.

Sanzu

- sanzu is a really protective and loyal person, he will protect you to the end of earth

- getting into arguments with you is one of his least favourite things ever and he always tries to avoid them

- seeing you flinch would break his heart so bad, it'd genuinely ruin him cuz he feels like he failed at being a good boyfriend, which he always tries to be for you

- like baji, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself :(((

"Sanzu, where've you been all day? Why weren't you answering my calls? I was so worried about you" you call out to him as you see him walk through the door, the smell of drugs clouding his aura. You sighed, bringing him to sit down as you get him water.

"I told you to lay off of the drugs, they aren't good for you, please" you plead, concern laced in your voice. "I only want what's best for you, I love you" you add on. You hear him release a frustrated groan.

"Don't worry about me, I'm not dead yet" he says sarcastically, making you frown slightly. "I know you aren't, but at this rate you will be soon" you reply, which causes him to scoff.

"We aren't getting anywhere like this, let me set up a bath for you and we can go to sleep" you say, knowing that he isn't in the right state of mind. "Y/n let go of me, I'm fine" he responds bluntly.

"You aren't fine, you're intoxicated. Just take a bath please" you say, growing frustrated. "I'm not intoxicated, I'm fucking fine" he exclaims, pushing your hand off of him and causing you to flinch.

The second that he registers what happened, his mind seemed to clear automatically. "Oh my god y/n I'm so sorry" he says, grabbing your hand back and cupping in in his own.

"It's fine..." you say quietly "just go take a bath and we can go to sleep.." you say as you begin to walk off. Before you can make it anywhere, he hugs you from behind. "Y/n, really, I'm so fucking sorry. Please join me in my bath, please" he mumbles against your ear, the guilt still being prominent. You nod shyly, as he drags you to the bathroom.

Kazutora

- kazutora is so patient and loving with you and like sanzu, he absolutely hates arguing with you

- he loves you so so so much, the thought of you flinching because of him tears him to shreds

- arguing with you reminds him of his parents which deeply traumatised him and he didn't want you two to end up like that :((

- the guilt he feels is so heavy, it eats him up inside because he thinks you don't trust him anymore or that you think he'd harm you

"Kazutora, you really need to prioritise your mental health more. Why haven't you been going to your therapy sessions?" you ask him softly, rubbing his back. "I don't need therapy, it doesn't help" he says quietly.

"Of course it does, change takes time Kazutora, and I'll be here with you every step of the way!" you exclaim, trying to lighten the mood.

"You wouldn't understand y/n, it's fucking frustrating" he says, his voice quivering. You could tell he was starting to get on edge, which was worrying you. "I'm just concerned for you, I love you so much, seeing you in pain like this pains me more than you think" you reply.

"What would you know?? You haven't experienced half the shit I have, nothing helps, it won't get better!!" he says with a raised voice, causing you to flinch. As soon as he saw your reaction, he froze right away. Once it fully registers, he can feel every single part of his heart break into pieces.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry, fuck y/n i didn't mean to, please, I'm so sorry. Please don't leave me, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!!!!" He says as he grips onto your shirt, tears pouring out of his eyes.

Seeing his reaction caused your heart to break along with his. You grabbed his hands and brought him into a hug, your own tears mixing with his.

"I'll never leave you, I'm okay, I love you so much. I only want what's best for you, I can't handle seeing you in pain like this" you cry softly with him. You hold onto him, rocking with him side to side as you both end up snoozing in each others arms.

♡ 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐘's been with siblings and a conniving best friend since he was little so you can say he was a master at it alike Mitsuya but maybe this was the worst yet cutest scenario he's encountered.

"Is that you?" Your boyfriend asks, pointing to the baby in the picture frame, holding it closer so he can awe at how you looked, pinching your cheeks with a smile.

"That's my little sister."

"Oh."

"What about me, huh?" Your sister pouted, crossed arms to her chest, looking at your boyfriend from head to toe but when Mikey stared back at this girl, you could've sworn her act has disappeared and her mouth is wide open.

"Why hello there." Mikey greeted, crouching down to meet her level with a winning smile as she shifts her gaze to you.

"Mikey this is Yui, Yui this is Mikey, my boyfriend." You said as the blonde extends his arm out for the little one to take and she feels like she's been betrayed by her older sibling.

"Boyfriend?! He looks like a prince!" She shouted, making him laugh before gladly shaking his hand, smiling too brightly. "Can I be your princess?" He turns to you chuckling.

"We'll see, okay?"

Then the chaos and rivalry begins.

- Whenever he doesn't stop by, she'd tug on you asking where he's gone until you tell her he has prince stuff to do and she's already nodding by saying, "That's right! A prince must do his duties for his kingdom so I should do the same!"

- You thought it was a good idea to buy crowns for the three of you but specifically for the two of them because you can tell how she really wanted to spend time with him.

- The next time he visits and he greets you with a kiss to your cheek and Yui sees this interaction—best believe at 4 years old, she's already gotten her heart broken.

Mikey sees the pout on her lips so he chuckles and lifts her before bestowing a kiss to her cheek making her squeal and throw her tiny arms to his neck.

"My first kiss with a prince!"

"Don't get too lucky, kid."

- The minute you give her a tiara, she's thanking you and all that but at the sight of Mikey draped in a blanket used as a cape with a blue crown, you swore she fell in love twice.

- You tried to reason how she wasn't typically like that but alas, he loves it anyway and even volunteers to take care of her while you prepare her dinner.

"That looks cool." Mikey said pointing to the glittery star covered shark sticker and her eyes twinkle as an idea sparks to her mind. Sticking the sticker he pointed to, she places it on his cheek and his eyes widen.

"Now you're extra cooler!" She says, clapping her hands at how perfect it looked and Mikey just lets her be.

By the time you've readied the table, your once clear face boyfriend came into the kitchen carrying Yui looking like Olivia Rodrigo in her Sour album cover photo.

"Mikey—can I take a photo of you and send it to Draken?"

"NO."

- Sometimes, if she's a bit late to school, the only solution there is to hop onto his CB250T and drive to her elementary.

"That's so.. wow. Oh! Is that our carriage?" She asks, hugging her backpack while you and Mikey share a look before he answers.

"Something like that, Yui."

- Let's just say her experience in that ride was unforgettable. You carried her in your lap making her set between you and the blonde. During it, all you could hear was "WHEEE!" and "SOO COOL!" Not smiling at her was a difficulty especially when she was holding onto Mikey, with closed happy eyes.

But, what the actual challenge was trying to get her off of the bike.

"I don't wanna go to school! Let me go one more pleasee!"

"Yui, you have to go to class or you're gonna miss out."

"No! Pleasee, Y/N. Just for today. " She said with big sad eyes like those of the ones in a movie with a very big pout to her lips, her hands as if they were praying. To think that it would be Mikey to be the first one to give in, it turns out to be the opposite when you sighed in defeat.

"Just one day, Yui." You can hear the joy in her voice when she hugs you making Mikey shake his head.

"You're supposed to be a good sibling you know."

"You don't even finish a week in school, babe."

- You spent the day on his motorcycle, not needing a destination because what mattered to her was that it was moving and it was going fast like a prince on his horse.

- When you do get home, she's dozing off and Mikey feels like he finally has some time to be with you.

"Ahh, don't get me wrong I love Yui but she's got to stop stealing me from you." He mutters while you sat on his lap, agreeing to his word.

- The next day, Mikey isn't around for some business with Toman and lately, she's been bugging you if you can bake some cookies which you do during Saturdays. Then suddenly, she comes home with wallet in hand counting bills like a grown up and you noticed how one of her stuff toys that she usually brings was gone.

"Yui? Did you forget your bear at school? We can get it if you want."

"No need, I sold it!"

"You what-"

- She begins to tell you her strategy to save up some money, determination in her voice to the point she's even grabbing her whiteboard and discussing like a teacher.

"What are you planning to buy, hun? A doll house?"

"I'm buying stickers for Mikey's motorcycle!"

"Yui, you should've just asked some money from."

It is pretty entertaining to watch her like this. You laughed at how she sold your brownies at a high price because she reminded them that they were made by some magical fairy and knowing kids, they believed it and it sold out.

To make up for her efforts, you take her to the Sano household where Draken was and you lead her to the garage and she instantly hugs Mikey. You cross your arms to your chest and once Draken stood up from his chair, Yui is awestruck at his height and shares a look to you.

"Are you the other boyfriend?"

To where Mikey is rolling his eyes, making his best friend laugh but with this opportunity, she doesn't miss to take it.

"So Mikey-kun is with me now!"

"Yeah, Yui because Ken-chin likes Y/N." Your bitter boyfriend lifts your sister and sets her on the bike, huffing while you and Draken laugh.

Still, you came from behind to sling your arms over his shoulder and give an endearing peck to his cheek, making him blush.

"So, I'm with Draken now?"

"Absolutely not."

- Mikey felt like he was gonna burst out of cuteness when Yui sat on his lap as he places her newly bought stickers to the motorcycle, Draken just watches them.

"Yui, did you know that Mikey is more of a king than a prince?" You said, caressing her hair and your lover seems to smile at your words before pulling you to him, kissing your forehead.

"Let's have a coronation and wedding then!" She suggests, raising her hands in excitement. "Kenchin can come too and the pretty girl from earlier!"

"..Mikey, I told you to stop calling me that in public." Draken argued but insisted, "Fine. I'll call Emma."

-The next thing you know, Yui is putting clips on the so-called king, tying it in tiny ponytails as well as still putting sticker to his face but it's more minimal compared to the first time. He was just actually wearing his Toman uniform with his hair gelled back, props to Emma which was a different get up than the usual half up ponytail but you can still see butterfly clips at the top.

Forced to look nice, you really did your best trying not to feel silly at how you looked with the crown but you just went through it.

- It feels more like a wedding than a coronation and you figured it was just your sister being married to Mikey so you sat beside Emma.

- What surprises you though is that Yui is grabbing you by the wrist, so you're stood in front of Mikey and you both look at her.

"Wait, Yui—I thought you were the one whose going to get married to him?"

She sighs and places her hand on her hip.

"He loves you more and I can't steal a king from someone else."

To which the two other audience awes and Mikey chuckles before pulling you close by the waist with a smile.

"You heard her, Y/N. So do I get my kiss now?"

"Not even any vows, Mikey? "

"No need, you know I love you already. "

"Everyone was watching what was going on in amazement. When the sirens were heard, Baji rushed to you and picked you up from the ground and cupped your face.

"Are you okay ?" You could hear the fear in his tone, you could hear what he was saying, but you were still focused on what Hanma said

" 'y/n' ! Are you okay honey? Say something! Fuck!"

When you suddenly took off from the ground, you felt that Baji was taking you on his shoulders and that's when you came to your senses.

"Baji... I'm fine, put me down!"

Baji nodded and continued walking.

When you got to his bike he sat you down and leaned forward. He took your hands and gently ran his fingers over the scars on your face, without touching them, and a curse fell from his lips.

"Sorry."

You looked at him in surprise

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you again 'y/n'. For him to get close to you-"

"Kei...it's not your job to protect me. You've done nothing to apologize for. It's a case between me and that bastard, and I'll take care of him."

Baji looked at you in shock at what you said. He had never seen you this serious before. 

"I... 'y/n' what did that bastard say to you? What was he telling you not to forget?"

You were not surprised when Baji heard Hanma shout. Everyone there had heard it, but you were going to keep it to yourself. You were sure that if you told Baji he would do something stupid.

"It wasn't a big deal... the usual empty threats... we must go now, Baji, we must find out how Draken is."

"You'll come to me 'y/n'. You'll be my little spy. Or I'll kill Keisuke Baji. I'm sure I'll do it before your soul even hears it."

You didn't know what to do with the sentence that was swirling in your head. As Baji drove the engine to the hospital at full speed, you were thinking of Hanma's words while hugged him tightly.

These are empty threats, you thought to yourself, but you knew it wasn't true. Shuji Hanma was a more dangerous man than you thought.

When you arrived at the hospital, you hugged Mitsuya cheerfully as he said Ken was fine. Then to Baji, then to Takemichi who saved him, and almost everyone else there...

You were sitting in the hospital room chatting with Draken. Hearing what was going on, he was wondering about you even though he was injured. He had asked a few implicit questions to confirm, but when you passed him off, he got serious.

"Everyone said Hanma said something to you but  you didn't say anything to anyone 'y/n'... I don't know what you're thinking but you're like my little sister."

You looked at his face with his words and smiled "You're like my brother, Keny-"

"Then I want you to be honest with me. I don't want to remind you of what you've been through, kiddo. I know it's hard and it's not good. But you stood up to Hanma there... It was a big step 'y/n' but I don't want you to have to take a bigger one. Stay away from him.We'll take care of it if necessary. But you stay away."

Looking solemnly at him, Draken knew your answer wasn't "sure I'd stay away" and he sighed. "I know you are strong but we're talking about a man even Mikey struggles with 'y/n'... for God's sake do you really think you beat this guy?"

You kept quiet and lowered your head because you knew it was true when his words got tough "He let you win because he wanted you to know that he did. He will provoke you and wait for you to attack him. Then he will hurt you again. Listen to me 'y/n', I want you to make a promise to me. Stay away from him, stay away from that man forever. Hold on, we'll take care of him."

Draken was right, he let you beat him and didn't even give you the final blow. And what he whispered in your ear... You knew that Hanma would do that. He wanted to hurt Toman but most of all he wanted to destroy you. All you were was that you couldn't beat him.

You skipped over Draken's words and walked out of his room. You loved him, you cared about him. He was your family. But you couldn't let him know that.

They thought Hanma was threatening you with your own life, but that bastard had a different plan. He wanted to make you his little slut and take over Toman.

...

"Who is this guy?" You thought for a while. You didn't see him in that fight or anywhere else. But you didn't like him. I guess you weren't the only one who didn't like it. There were hums coming from everywhere and at that moment something you didn't expect happened.

Takemichi suddenly punched that boy and it was a mess. As the leaders squeezed Takemichi, Baji came out of nowhere and punched Takemichi. Everything was so sudden.

You still couldn't believe it. When Mitsuya grabbed his arm to stop Baji, he threatened to kill him too and declared war on Mike.

"From now on, First Division Captain Keisuke Baji will be Toman's enemy!"

You couldn't believe what you heard for a while. He said that he was going to leave Toman and join Valhalla, and everyone was in shock.

...

You quickly followed him as he left and you grabbed his arm and turned him

"What the fuck do you think you're doing, Keisuke? Where do you think you're going? What do you mean Toman is your enemy. Are you fucking kidding me?"

Baji frowned at your harsh words. He expected you to be angry with him, but this...

"Answer me. Where are you going, Baji?"

He took a deep sigh and looked at you. He put his hand on your shoulder and spoke.

You were shocked by what he said. You still hadn't told him what happened that night and... When he tried to leave without saying anything, you got angry and did something unexpected. You clenched your fist and punched him hard in the face. You smacked him in such anger that your fist broke his lip. Baji wiped his lip and started walking without saying a word to you. Watching the man you love go away has never been so hard on you.

When the meeting broke up, Mikey ordered Takemichi to bring Baji back. They told you not to do anything.

While watching the school with boredom, you quickly got up and walked out when you saw someone taking Takemichi with them. You continued walking in surprise when you realized that it was Kazutora as you followed them. What was going on?

You stood in front of what you realized was the place of Valhalla. You didn't know what to expect inside. But you didn't care. You pulled your hood over your head and opened the door and walked in.

It was a completely different environment than Toman and people were looking at you weirdly. You ignored the front and were shocked by what you saw.

Chifuyu was covered in blood on the floor, Baji had blood on his hands and face, and was wearing the Valhalla jacket Hanma threw at him.

This had to be a joke... A joke that wasn't funny.

"Chifuyu!" Everyone who heard your voice turned to you. You moved forward and crouched next to Chifuyu on the ground. Your eyes filled with tears. Anger, fear, the feeling of betrayal…

All of them were rising inside you at once.

"You... what do you think you're doing, Baji?"

Kazutora smiled at you as Baji looked at you seriously, and Takemichi looked at you with fearful eyes.

"Y/n-chan"

"Takemichi, get Chifuyu and take him to the hospital."

When he looked at you in disbelief, you yelled at him and sent him to the hospital.

There were dozens of men around you. Hanma jumped up from above and approached you and put his arm around your shoulder.

"Since you're an uninvited guest, we should have you killed here, honey, but thanks to the special bond we have, I forgive you this time."

You glared at him angrily and took his arm off your shoulder and threw it away.

"If you touch me again, you'll end up with a knife in your ass, Shuji Hanma"

Hanma chuckled at her words and this time he threw his arm at Baji

"Tomans 1st Division Captain Keisuke Baji, vice captain Chifuyu, and now Toman's princess 'y/n, l/n'... What a blessed day today! Come on, tell her Baji, tell her that you're a member of Valhalla now, we're going to crush Toman "

When you turned to Baji with Hanma's words, you saw that everyone was quite serious. Hanma smiled at you and took a step closer.

You bit the inside of your cheek and took a deep breath. You wanted to cry, but not here. You wanted to punch them both, but you wouldn't survive.

You just glared at both of them with hatred and headed for the door. There was not the slightest change in Baji's gaze.

You expected him to stop you, say something, but he didn't. All you heard was Hanma's voice. "I'll wait for your answer beauty"

Part 1

By the time we're 13, I stop receiving letters from them for almost two months. Letters from me pile up in their mailboxes until I get a letter from Keisuke where he explains that Kazutora is in juvie.

I keep writing to the both of them, sending my letters for Kazutora to Keisuke, for him to give to our friend, knowing that Kazutora needs our support more than ever.

I go back to Japan by the time we're 15, some time after Kazutora's release. This time, I no longer live in the same building as Baji but still live close to him. He goes to pick me up a few days after and tells me him and Kazutora are in another gang, a new one, called Valhalla.

I find it strange, both had founded ToMan along with their closest friends, the idea had even Baji's. But they don't talk further about it.

Baji's a bit distant and Kazutora acts different. Neither talk about the past two years, and change the topic whenever it comes up.

A few days later, I see a girl asking for help. There's a blond boy laying on the floor, his face nearly completely covered in blood, swollen and bruised. We manage to get him to the hospital. We talk a bit and she tells me he got beaten up by a gang member, someone who used to be his friend.

Keisuke is still distant and Kazutora, despite spending time with me, seems to zone out more often than ever.

Days later, two blond boys and a girl approach me. I recognize one of the boys and the girl immediately, but still don't know their names. They introduce themselves as Dani, Chifuyu and Takemichi. They want to know whatever they can about Kazutora and Keisuke, and I tell them all I know, which still, isn't enough given how strange the two have been acting.

Dani knew Keisuke as well, but he suddenly stopped talking to her a few days after he left ToMan. They figure he still talks to me since I've never been involved with anyone from any gang apart from him and Kazutora.

Then Halloween comes. And I get a call from Dani: Keisuke is at the hospital and Kazutora is being arrested.

I rush to the hospital and the waiting room is almost full of who I assume are the rest of the ToMan founding members.

Chifuyu and Dani tell me that Keisuke is in the surgery room, he had two stab wounds. He stays in a coma for three days and we check on him everyday, talking to him and waiting for him.

When he finally wakes up, he makes fun of us for being so worried but weeps a bit when all of his friends hug him.

He then explains to us the reason he did all that and asks us to not put any blame on Kazutora, he was being manipulated. Mikey tells him that he's forgiven him and Keisuke sighs in relief.

We scold him for keeping all that to himself and for stabbing himself.

Still, he smirks at me when I tell him that I'm going to visit him that same evening, in just an hour, to clear things up. Baji simply asks me to tell him he'll go visit him soon.

"You didn't have to come," he says with glossy eyes.

"I needed to, Tora. I should have noticed you weren't doing fine sooner"

He looks down and scoffs.

"I almost got our best friend killed," he says, "you must hate me"

"I don't, Tora. You're my friend too and it wasn't your fault"

He looks at me, weeping.

"But you do need to get help," I remind him, "we'll be waiting for you, so get better, Tora"

"Thank you," he says, smiling through the tears.

Asalam u aleikum. I hope you're okay. I slept right after writing to you yesterday and woke up around 10. After a while, i took everyone out because saba baji wanted to buy her son a toy. We came back home around 1. Then we decided to go to emporium since arfa didn't end up going to the baraat as well. So us 4, me, ayesha, Ria and arfa went out. It was really fun, we ate and then came back. The fun part was travelling in careem. We also took a rickshaw to grab some of arfa's stuff from her hostel, which was nearby. We reached home around 5 30. Then, around 8, we got ready to go to phuppo's to see the bride. She seemed nice from what I saw today. I got so bored there, and they only got up around 1 am to leave. I was so tired by the time I came back. Sigh. I came back and did all the mattresses and talked to nina in the meantime. Then, when I was about to lay down, U mamu video called me, and nina had joined too. So, I and amma talked to them. I just got back into bed right now. Nighat phuppo came to stay at our place too today. Anyway, we'll meet K mamu for the last time in a while before he goes to Bangladesh tomorrow. He'll reach around 11 here, and G mamu and ahmad will be coming to pick him up. I'm scared I'll end up crying while saying goodbye. I hope and pray for the best for him in his life ahead. Sigh. I had a really nice time today, and I'm really grateful to God for that. Even though there were moments by the people I love that hurt me, it's okay because God made it better for me anyway.
