She didn't hate him or anything, no, but getting touches here and there certainly wasn't what she'd expected or had been used to in the first place. She had seen couples from her school got touchy-feely or a little too close now and then when they hid around corners or quiet areas of the campus. It definitely shouldn't surprise her if the delinquent even suggested to do something such as that with her but her initial reactions were to be of shock or anger before any convincing.

"I-it's not that I would even beg for the attention! I'm just surprised no woman has even kicked your ass in the first place doing that..." Makoto's arms then instinctively reached to cover her chest, finally blushing a little at the 'compliment'. He scrubbed a bit his arm uncomfortably while waiting on the door of some class from his school.

Why was he doing this? He didn't care about anyone on this hell called school. He could just walk away and-

"Thanks for waiting for me Chisaki!" Your voice echoed in his ears and he felt his stomach burbling at the sound and heart speed up a beat.

He took one seriously look at you, uniform on, school bag clearly not organized and even messy... yet, even the disgusting look of it... your smile and eyes left him on a spell that could both let his heart spending like crazy yet feel so... at peace.

He needed to find out what the hell was that. Quickly.

"You're late." He grunted, while you rubbed the back of your neck with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah I know. It was because Yokoto came asking me for help on a exercise."

... he for some reason didn't liked one bit of that. Since when you talked with that trash?

"I see." He said nonchalantly hiding his discomfort and anger on the way his hands were turned into fists "Come on. I don't have all the day to explain some biology content for your stupid self."

"Hey!" You exclaimed, running to catch up with him "You were the one that suggested to help me in teh first place!"

"Only because you happen to be one of the few I tolerate on that hell hole. So it won't be exactly pleasent to have you failing a year." He sighed while looking at the sky monoustly.

"Careful there. I might even think you like me~" you teased him, ignoring that you had a HUGE crush on the mafia boy yourself.

He faked his gasp with a scoff before glaring at you, those golden eyes piercing at your soul like a hawk. Instead of being afraid you stiffle your laughter by your hand, making him even more flustered.

During the walk Chisaki explained the concept of what the teacher had told you all, while pointing at the parts of his book whenever it was necessary. And whenever you asked something to him he would look at you like you had grew three heads but still correct and answer you on a fake of arrogance tone.

"That's all we have to know for the test?" You asked in surprise as he closed his book for a sigh, stopping at seing that this place was were you two separated to go to your specific homes... although, he had surpressed the idea of walking you home.

It was just for safety measures he thought. But when he gave that excuse to Pops the man only laughed and asked him since when he cared for others safety... and he was kinda right about that.

And since when he offered help to someone struggling on school..?

"Probably. Unless those bastards say that is not anymore the concept of the test." You giggled and he had to bite the inside of his cheek to not chuckle back and continued his stoic and monotonous expression.

Your laugh was just as contagious as a flu dammit.

"Thanks a lot for that Chisaki-kun! I own you one!" You played with your fingers a bit, him arching a eyebrow up at the red of your cheeks growing.

"Are you sick?" He asked nonchantly "You should consult a doctor, or else you won't be able to do the test."

"N-no is not that!" You waved your hands desperately, knowing that he was kinda of a mysophobic and the thought of he being repulsed by you scared you to death.

He arched his eyebrow even more and at that time you knew that it was too late to just brush it off as nothing. So you did what anyone would do in this situation.

Turn on the bottom of 'fuck it'.

You quickly leaned close to him enough to leave a quick kiss on his cheek. And when you got just a glimpse of him you were scared and even worried at seing Chisaki's golden eyes wide open and not showing any emotion AT ALL.

"I-I gonna go now!" You ran. Just as fast as you could and not even looked back in total desperation and embarrassment.

He gagged and brought his hand to touch the place where your lips had touched his bare skin. Disbelief surrounding him at the thought that someone had touched him without any permission or fear... well. At least at that moment you didn't had.

Although... the first thing he noticed, asides from the insufferable warm from his face, was that his face didn't exploded in hives neither he felt the urge of scratching the suppose germs or dirt out of skin.

You... tripped. Tripped and just got up like nothing happened and ran again. If he wasn't so embarrassed he would have laughed.

He burried his face in his hands and let out a muffled shout in pure irritation and what he could only say it was embarrassment... sadly.

Why you had to break him like this?! Dammit!

You were so nervous on the next day that you felt that you weren't even walking right... and it wasn't because of the test that would happen today.

You just thought it was a good idea to leave a kiss on Chisaki Kai's cheek. Son of the headmaster of the Shie Hassaikai, the boy who sended three of your classmates to the hospital once for speaking bad about the yakusa. The most germophobic person of your age that you ever met.

You were already preparing your funeral to be honest. He was from the yakusa after all, so he could easily and simply ordered someone to cut your neck on your sleep.

Oh god or even worse. He could ignore you.

While walking you froze when you heard a cough from behind you. That sound being way too familiar for you to ignore or to just brush it off as a simple cough.

You didn't dare to move to look at the boy behind you, merely just gulping the air stuck on your throat.

"G-good morning. C-Chisaki." You sluttered and you heard a grunt in return.

Why wasn't he saying anything?! Was he himself going to kill you or something?!

You flinched a bit at the poke on your shoulder but catched the message anyway, turning a bit with hesitation to see Kai holding out a daisy for you in one small, and covered by a handkerchief, hand and with a annoyed look at the sky.

He could easily blame the rosy pink of his cheeks on the hot summer and because of the sun, but you knew better.

"Take it." He growled while you yelped a bit in embarrassment, slowly taking the daisy on his hand onto your own.

He placed his hands on his pockets with a huff, closing his eyes a bit with a sigh and maintaining his gaze far away from yours, prefering to look at the ground.

Your giggles only made his heart to jump and for him to scoff. Feeling insulted.

"Can I know what is so funny abou-" he stopped the moment he saw you, blushing cheeks and serene smile on your face iluminated by the sunlight placing the daisy on your hair.

"Thank you! How does it look?" You showed with your palm the daisy in your hair and he had to gulp down the thick air that had stopped him from breathing.

"It... looks ok." He started to walk, leaving your smilling self only a bit behind before he signaled with his hand for you to hurry up.

Pops did have good advices but now he was feeling that the last thing that he is going to remember doing the test is going to to be the content.

*For those who don’t know, Ooizumi, Gunma is one of the most ethnically diverse places in Japan. Roughly 20% of the residents are foreign citizens. Most are Japanese Brazilian, but there are also people from Peru, China, India, Nepal, the Philippines, etc. Meanwhile, Shin Okubo is known as Tokyo’s Korea Town, and Shinjuku saw an influx of Nigerian immigrants in the 90s, as they found work in the late-night entertainment industry. Futsusa refers to Fussa, Tokyo, which is where the United States Air Force Yokoto Air Base is located, hence there being a lot of Americans there.

It was the 15th of November, 1977, when 13-year-old Megumi Yokota and her friend were walking home from school in Niigata, a seaside town in western Japan. As the duo approached Yokota’s home, the two said goodbye and went their separate ways. Yokota never made it home.

For the next 25 years, Yokota’s family searched in vain for her. Finally, in 2002, there was a break in the case. North Korea admitted that they had been operating a state-sponsored abduction program in which Japanese civilians had been kidnapped and brought to North Korea to teach spies Japanese language and culture so that they could successfully infiltrate the county. North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il, publicly admitted to the practice and apologised. He allowed a few abductees to return to Japan but stonewalled the rest, claiming that the victims - including Yokota - had either died or killed themselves.

Japan estimated that around 17 of its citizens had been abducted during the 1970s and 1980s. The cremated remains of eight kidnapping victims were flown back to Japan and it was claimed that one urn contained the remains of Yokota. However, DNA testing proved that the remains weren’t Yokota. Yokoto’s family believe that she is still alive today.
