Hobbit vest is finished! I wanted to wait to post the reveal until I had the pattern finished (which of course took way longer than I was originally expecting) and then I edited the video and then I had to switch hosting providers on my website so I've been very busy the last few weeks but it's all finally finished and everything is live!

I love how this vest turned out honestly, it's exactly what I was going for when I started designing it. That being said though I'm just as excited to finally move onto something new. The hobbit skirt is still on my to do list too so I should be starting on that soon!

One headcanon I have for Battinson is that he looks up youtube tutorials to learn to do random stuff. like sure, he knows how to make a lot of things because he has studied/made research through books and stuff. but he 100% learned how to sew his cowl through a youtube video because he was too shy (or maybe too proud) to ask alfred or dory to teach him. he also searched up how to fix the kitchen sink because alfred told him to call the plumber himself and he just won't do that. its embarrasing.

I've finally finished my next Youtube tutorial, this time making a prop version of the poisoned peach that sends Sarah to Jareth's ball. My crochet project for the week, I made a baby blanket and baby booties for my co-worker who is pregnant.

For the Booties I used this wonderful tutorial by @maisieandruth . She has a written pattern on her blog, I made them in 4 hrs. Check out her work!

For the Blanket, I used a circular pattern for the blanket and just kept increasing each stitch.

I wanted to share with you all my favorite crochet piece so far! Typically I do amigurumi, but wanted to try out a blanket with some ombré yarn I had. I do also sew in my own acrylic tags into all my pieces! To me this gives it a little extra something (almost like signing a painting) and then people know where it came from.
