Unorthodox Loungewear S/S18
Transform bleak monochromatic imagery into textiles with pops of neon & variations of monochrome tones with neon and pastel colour with electric elements coming through brining the textile to life, I will be looking at whimsical imagery and translating them into knitwear, the colours should mis-match so much that they end up looking matching combining fizzy green & pink with concrete greys.

‘Bespeckled Fragments’
Shape, texture and colour combinations play an important role in Alice’s work. Her final collection of largely paper based designs for unique stationery, greetings cards and giftwrap have been produced by developing textures and organic patterns using textile mono printing, paper marbling and collage to create exciting compositions and repeat patterns.

Textile Practice - 2017
A project inspired by modern architectural buildings that are specifically located within different city centres. Surface, shape and silhouette of buildings are the main factors that are translated into womenswear garments, along with the use of colour, which dramatically changes perspective - making city landscape playful and mimicking this through into apparel wear.

Swarm
This installation ‘Swarms’ highlights the effect that the human race has upon nature. Rachel’s Material choice is very harsh to reflect man’s destructive impact on his environment. I have tarnished clear material to distort the view. Look in the mirror: do you have an impact ?

Lo Green
Feminine Race
Designer-maker and embroidery specialist inspired by secondhand garments. This project questions why images of women become a political statement. Each garment was chosen for the aesthetic and the embroidery enhances the garment through colour and composition. Playing with juxtaposition and the idea of ‘reclaiming’ female sexuality through ‘reclaiming’ garments.

Nature Intended.
Nature Intended pays homage to the artists attempts at embracing imperfection. Taking inspiration from natures creative energy. Referring to textures and surfaces that are purely designed by natural forces alone. Contrasting elements such as the intricate details found in tree bark and stunning ariel landscape photography play huge roles. The artist believes that imperfections are intended by nature and therefore only the natural can be truly perfect.

Granny Cool by Samantha Anderson
Directed away from the trend lead uniforms of today, Granny Cool is a bright and fun collection inspired by style muses of the older generation and the youthful street style scene. Nothing personal
Nothing personal is a collection of wallpaper designs intended for a commercial setting. The designs are symbolic, they represent the idea of our online presence on social media being more tailored then our true self.
