After a 7 year gap, we are finally getting a new Fischerpooner album this year. They chose to debut the first track, “Everything is Just Alright” on this Nicopanda fashion film.

Walt Disney Animation Studios continues to challenge Pixar for quality storytelling. This "kids movie" got big laughs from a 10 pm crowd full of adults.

Dan Trachtenberg’s directorial debut is a tense, well-made thriller that keeps you guessing. It benefits from a darkened theater -  free from distraction but full of nervous arm gripping!

This show is the first Stephen King TV adaptation I've seen that doesn't feel constrained by time or budget. It's not horror per se, but it sure is gripping, masterful storytelling.

A fascinating movie based on the life of The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson (portrayed wonderfully by both Paul Dano & John Cusack).

I have endless nostalgia for colorful mascot platformers, but they are pretty rare outside of Nintendo consoles. Fortunately, this game feels like a great entry in that genre and the Pac Man World series that preceded it. Fun times!

I’ve been getting a huge kick out of Fox’s new show, The Grinder. Rob Lowe plays an over-confident TV lawyer who moves in with his brother, an actual lawyer who’s far more timid. The casting couldn’t be more perfect. On Hulu.

In case you haven’t heard, The Martian is worth watching. I knew virtually nothing about it going in, save for the glowing book reviews and images like this one. I approve this method of viewing, as the fun is in the journey.

When I first booted up the smash-hit game Rocket League, at the recommendation of many many friends, I never expected to be greeted by anything other than plain ‘ol uninteresting “sports music” fanfare. Instead, to my delight, this pulse pounding song blasted out of my speakers! It was soon followed by many more excellently produced and well curated musical choices. Well done, Psyonix! (The game’s pretty great, too!)
