Okay so I was wearing my Hamilton hoodie while reading the new chapter and I got to the part where Nico's getting out of bed and Will gives him pants and a hoodie. In my mind I thought "Haha what if it was a Hamilton hoodie." and then the proposal scene happened and half my mind was going giddy giggling at the fluff and then half was going "Nico di Angelo got engaged in a Hamilton hoodie."

HELPSDLF OMG okay now that would be hilarious. i do think that will purposefully chose clothes that'd be like casual to have photos of sitting on the mantle and stuff, so most likely it was just a plain black hoodie, but i love the idea of will just throwing nico a hamilton hoodie. "you have no idea but this is what you're going to get engaged in"

Hearing a lot of "Nobody loved Nico the way Will did"s but What about nobody loved Will the way Nico did?!?!?! What about Will finally being loved as Will Solace rather than his calm collected cool shell!! Rather than Will "camp's best medic & happy cabin counselor" Solace!!!!

THIS!!!!!!!!!!! the fact that will is comfortable being cranky and disagreeable around nico means so much to me. also will has a whole “i have to be useful to the people around me or i’m worthless and they’ll all leave me” complex and nico insistently loves him regardless of how Helpful he is. never not thinking abt the scene in tsats where will realized he fucked up by semi unintentionally ditching nico and completely spiraling with terror that he finally proved himself to be worthless and nico was going to leave him to die and nico’s reaction was to reach out and hold him and let him cry. he’s gonna keep showing will that he’s committed to him and loves him unconditionally and that even when they fight he’s still going to love him until will gets it

i feel like people calling the senior year adventures and tsats 2 a cash grab are forgetting that like. he literally said it’s to promote the series. obvi they aren’t stories that came into their own naturally, because they are for promotion. they are cash grabs. less so for rick and more so that he shows disney he has a fan base. like it was literally stated when chalice of the gods was announced i don’t know how we’re surprised??

oh my god was the discourse after tsats came out literally unbearable. good on you for setting boundaries because yeah there were valid critiques but the discourse was insane and some of it just plain nonsensical 😭 but I’m so excited!!! i really hope they delve even more into Will as a character! Idk if they’ll do more angst or maybe this will be more light hearted but I’m sooo ready either way and can’t wait to see your reaction to it!!

im also really hoping for more will angst 👀 he never talked about all his dead siblings in tsats which i thought was a huge missed opportunity. he mentioned once or twice his guilt over losing patients but that was also kinda glossed over. i’d love to see that get dug into some more, i think it could be an important point of bonding for him and nico!
