The only piece i managed to complete for an old pokerpair week prompt, with the prompt being “Dionysus”.

Allen is Dionysus, an ancient god of madness and death/rebirth, who’s roots were forgotten and replaced with wine and parties among the poor and impoverished. Though most people attend for the drinks and to escape the daily grind, Allen still attends to both keep an eye on things and enjoy some company. He almost never shows his true identity, and usually when he does, it’s to drive cruel and evil men to madness.

When he shows himself to Tyki, it’s for other reasons, though will Tyki remember the night - let alone trust his own memory - when there was wine involved?

Allen probably hates that everyone started associating him with wine since he can’t stand the smell or taste, but he does enjoy how easy it is to mess with people when they’re drunk as hell. He also uses banquets thrown in his name to take money from the rich people who want to partake, which he’s always game for.

5 Reasons You Should Be Shipping ManaCross (Mana Walker x Cross Marian)

1. They’re Allen’s dads: At some point in time, Mana and Cross have taken on parental roles in Allen’s life. The love that they had for Allen literally shaped him to be the polite and empathetic protagonist that we all know and love. Did their “deaths” greatly traumatize him too? Yes, but as they say, a couple that stays together, dies together.

2. A little something for dilf enjoyers: Not only are Mana and Cross dads, but they’re hot dads. Now don’t get me wrong, I love young ManaCross but older ManaCross hits different. Half of the fandom already thirsts of Cross but we need to seriously acknowledge how hot older Mana is. He’s a poor little meow meow. And what more with the two of them being hot dads together. 

3. Angst galore: Hey Yulma shippers, you want another ship where you just ache over two people who just deserved better, but with a pinch of “we’re losing an uphill battle and there’s nothing we can do but embrace the time we have with each other”? ManaCross is the ship for you. Now there’s a lot of interpretation when it comes to this ship considering we’re only now getting canon interactions between them (currently in the Saying Goodbye to A.W. arc as of this post), however, the pre-canon possibilities are absolutely endless. Cross having to watch as the Earl slowly takes over Mana? A possibility. A hysterical Mana profusely apologizing to Cross after he hurts him in a fit of madness? That could happen. Cross seeing so much of Mana in Allen that he has to be alone for some time or else he’d break down? Absolutely.
