found out about the white supremacy ties etc to CoS and LaVey so I'm just like 🙃

i feel like it should have been obvious with just...the everything. And also I shouldn't be surprised when it's frequently used as a smokescreen or meeting excuse for said nazis

not that i'm looking for an organized religion or faith but i am interested in researching different systems and ideas and this has put me off a fair bit tbh

i think i'm just gonna poke my nose into more demonolatry, the rituals and domains are really interesting and I like a lot of the symbolism.

I enjoy the implication that the political stance of Anton LaVey was 'just kind of a cunt'.

The thing with Anton LaVey is that he was just kind of stupid. Crowley actually knew his way around philosophy and could actually write well when he needed to. LaVey was genuinely just kind of a goon.

I received a golden nazar on a necklace for my birthday and i've been feeling it sort of weighing me down like i need to cleanse it so I'm going to try doing a full moon cleansing tomorrow with it since it's the Strawberry Moon

Moon Phases in Ukrainian Folklore

Dark moon

A disadvantageous time; do nothing drastic and guard yourself against malevolence.

Waxing moon

Gather stalks and leaves; cut your hair; perform charms against toothache, fears, warts, and sickness. During this phase do all that is intended to progress fast and multiply.

Full moon

Perform rituals of plenty: in some areas food storage barrels were washed on a full moon, so that they may always be full, as well. Gather blooms.

Waning moon

Gather roots; do not start work that is meant for fast development. Old is reliable, while young is fickle and quickly changes - therefore, old moon is when one is to butcher animals and harvest potatoes, so that they keep long; building a house or moving to a new one is good to associate with this phase.
