On My Own
I tell myself,
Just breathe through the pain
But I hold my breath
I tell myself,
It's not that bad, you'll live
But I only want death
I tell you all
I'm fine, leave me be
I just want to be alone
But I am so sick
Of pretending I am fine
On my own

Yes. Just - yes. Exactly. Except for the you tube part. ;D
If you and I were close
I just want friends. Or somebody I’m close with.
I’m smart and kind. I like geeky stuff. We would marathon so many things.
I would cuddle you or let you cuddle me. I would make you coffee if you want. I would hit the gym with you if you want some company.
Consent is a big key in our relationship. If you don’t like what I’m doing with you I will immediately stop whatever I’m doing. Handholding, hugs, piggy backs, etc.
I will tell you I love all the time. Make you food. Be your free therapist. Jump in your arms or let you jump into mine. Look at you like you are the moon. Talk about fanfiction. Go to Pride. If you have a period I will be prepared with comfort food, medicine, pads, etc.
I will respect your pronouns. I will laugh and groan at puns. I will tell you that you look beautiful/pretty/cute/handsome/awesome daily. Sleepovers once a month. Extra ponytail holder if you need it. I will let you dress me sometimes and maybe do my make-up if I feel like it. Comic book stores. Book stores. Library visits at least twice a month. Help you deal with your depression/anxiety if you have any. I will probably cry if you help me deal with mine.
I will take you dancing even though I can not professionally dance. On your Birthday I would make a cake or pancakes if you want. Might get matching tattoos if you want. Would probably write a poem about you. Let you read my writing. My Ocs might get inspired by you. I would gush about you to my family.
I would win you a prize at the fair/I would gush if you won me something at the fair. Cheer you on in battles/Fight for your honor. Play video games. You would be invited over for the Holidays. Would become roommates If you wanted.
I would probably cry if you remember my Birthday or give me a present because you thought of me. I would get emotional if you said you love me and trust me.
I would quote Vine references if not daily then weekly. Would love to cosplay and watch anime together. I would help you with homework and send Valentine gifts to you. Would borrow your sweatshirts/shirts if given permission. Have our own personal playlist to jam out to. Would always make sure you’re comfortable. Would go on road trips and late snack runs with you.
Would start a YouTube Channel with you. Would watch Buzzfeed Unsolved with you. Go see a movie together once every 3 months. Would want you to be happy. Always have a home with me. We would have a secret code. Would go see a concert with you. Go seashell hunting at least once a year. Would stand up for you. Would platonically sleep in a bed together. People would probably think we were dating.
I would always make sure you feel loved and validated.

I once asked my history teacher: “How can we know X actually said this, if it wasn’t recorded in audio, a letter, a diary entry, etc?”  What he responded with still intrigues and fascinates me.
“History isn’t about truth. History is about perspectives. And it’s our job to distinguish why those perspectives are still recounted to this present day.”

Write a story including a set of three things
1) an animal considered sacred, an enchanted bag, a forest that moves and speaks
2) a poisoned drink, a supposedly cursed knife, a fancy party
3) a heist, a letter, a dark past
4) a character who is the opposite of what they seem, a talking pet, a ghost
5) a set of magical pencils, fame and fortune, a diary
6) butterflies, a threat, a lost notebook found by a stranger
7) a city overrun by monsters, a famous writer, a dangerous and twisted plot to save innocent lives
8) a character rejected by their society, a brilliant hero with everything to lose, a prophecy
9) a lullaby, walls that seem to whisper, a house at the end of a road
10) a garden, a strange plague spreading through a kingdom, a child who is the key to saving everyone

this adds a whole new lever to the incredible maze that is loki’s psychology.
i love him so much.
anyway i love that thor ragnarok parades around as this cute fun happy go lucky inoffensive film even though at its core it’s just a big resounding FUCK YOU against imperialism and colonialism. thor stands by and watches his ancestral home be completely destroyed because he figures out that asgard was built on the backs of invaded and enslaved people. the second his father’s crimes are exposed he does the right fucking thing and lets it all burn instead of excusing his own ignorance. that scene of the tapestry coming down is so goddamned fucking iconic i could cry oh man

I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE
i like,,, rlly want peter and loki to have a rlly weird friendship that starts bc they bitch about The Cis™ together and now theyre pals
loki gives out questionable advice (“this dude at school keeps being an asshole” “kill him”) and offers to curse anyone peter has a problem with and peter offers to teach loki algebra or something
tony damn near well has a stroke when he goes to check on peter one day and loki is there helping him and ned put together some legos. peter is just like “hey mr. stark have you met my new friend loki they’re the norse god of mischief and they have a cool crown with horns” and tony needs a drink or six
loki proclaims they’re not good with kids and yet somehow has won peter parkers undying loyalty its a mystery

every. single. one.  Except 4, I have learned not to overestimate people.
Edit: I take it back. I just realized a song I've been listening to all my life has a whole verse about sex and I never realized. Shit I'm more ace than I thought
Anyone else relate to these ace moods?
1) thinking you just have really high standards
2) thinking you have a very specific type which you haven’t found yet
3) thinking other people are joking
4) not realizing the song was about sex
5) thinking movies and tv are over dramatizing it
6) thinking movie and tv is accurate but like how???
7) not knowing which one it is
8) wondering when you’ll turn out to be gay

Lafayette is such a mood
Friendly (I swear this really is friendly and won’t make you cry like 99.9% of every friendly reminder ever! anyways) reminder that when the American Revolution started, King Louis XVI specifically named Lafayette when he forbade any involvement of the french. Obviously, Lafayette was all like, what the hell, fuck this, and went anyways. So when he returned - as a hero - King Louis had to punish him without pissing everyone off, so he gave him a few days house arrest for what was technically teason against the crown.
