I had a (now ex) best friend whose husband was in the Canadian military. We were brought up to believe we just heal the wounded and send soldiers for aid. That's so DISGUSTINGLY UNTRUE it's vile.

The words "I've done things that would disgust and repulse you and make you question HOW as a human being I could EVER do that shit."

He didn't go into detail and I didn't ask, for my own sanity, but it made me sick just hearing those words. He was also wildly racist towards Middle Eastern people and held some scarily problematic views.

I do NOT support the military. Point blank. The End. Fin.
