I think Daniel loved Buck. But I also think he didn’t realize why Buck was born until he died.

I think he was the one to give Evan a name because their parents couldn’t be bothered. Buck was a smiley baby, all laughs and babbling and Daniel called him sunshine because Buck gave him a reason to keep fighting longer. To be an older brother.

Maddie knows, of course she does. She knows how much Daniel loved Buck by the way he used to talk about the games they’d play when Buck got older, about the shows they’d watch and the time they’d spend together.

Daniel was so excited when they had a match for bone marrow because he thought that mean he’d get to see Buck grow. That it was set in the stars that he was meant to be Bucks older brother.

And then he relapsed. And Daniel never saw Buck grow past one, and Buck never knew his brother that loved him so much he kept fighting.

Buck has been chasing people all his life and he sitting for the answer only to be left. Eddie has been waiting for the right person after Shannon only to push them away.

I DESPERATELY need Eddie to be the one to go after Buck and be the one to initiates the kiss ever through all his religious guilt bc with Buck he knows it’ll be okay and he’s done waiting for the right person to come after him when the right person in RIGHT THERE.

I was watching the sniper scene- 4x13- with my mom, and my dad comes in and sees the part where Buck is looking at Eddie through under the fire truck(? Think it was) and tell me why his first thought was “Is that his(Eddie) boyfriend?”

Keep in mind, my dad has never seen 9-1-1 and this was literally the only part of the episode he saw and his first thought and question was if they were boyfriends.
