*Tintin once again finds himself forced to admit that he should be more careful while being helped by you*

Tintin: I really should have been cautious

You: Really? I always said that carrying pepper spray wouldn't hurt.

*Tintin gives you an incredulous look, wondering how you could be so presumptuous. The way you played with the pepper spray while he was still on the ground made him feel uncomfortable*

Tintin: Hey, what are you implying?

You: Nothing. I just think the role of the damsel in distress doesn't suit you.

Ok, now you had crossed the line.

*Your sharp speech made Tintin jump up from the ground like lightning and grab your arm firmly, preventing you from taking any step.*

You: What the--

*You swallowed hard when you were backed into a corner. Tintin's look didn't seem very friendly, and the worst part of it all was realizing that you liked the way he acted.*

Tintin: What it was? Lost your tongue?

*You made a face, incredulous at his provocation and when you were about to retort, the voices of the Captain and the other friends sounded, forced you two stay away.*

Captain: Ah! Thank God we found you two! What happened?!

*You and Tintin exchanged an eye roll, but gave no explanation. Instead, you moved on, leaving the Captain and the others confused.*

Recently overtaken with the mad urge to consume every single piece of Tintin media I can find. This is the result of that, I decided to try redrawing my favourite scene in something similar to the comic style.

It’s definitely not perfect but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out 😌

As I was saying on this post, I was creating a OC who was a sociologist from Brazil. And here she is!

Since it’s Lovers Day in my country, I think it’s a good time to introduce my oc.

Also, thank you, @aagatinha, for motivating me to create my oc.

Name: Maitê

Age: young adult

Eye colour: dark brown

Hair: long wavy black hair, usually tied down

Nationality: Brazilian

Occupation: sociologist

Favourite food: Anthill Cake and fried cassava

Favourite drink: Coffee with milk

Family: Both her parents are alive and she’s an only child but in compensation, her extended family is considerably big.

Description: Maitê lived in a coastal city known for being cosmopolitan. As long as she can remember, she’s been in contact with foreigners. One of her favourite things about the place she lived was a cultural festival that was held yearly. There was music, dance, good food and lots of things from various places, especially books about all sorts of things!

Ever since Maitê was a little, she could be described as a scholar girl: curious and passionate about her topics of interest. Most of her interest was directed at people and everything revolving them. Why we gather ourselves in groups, why do we prepare food in so many different ways, where did our traditions came from, etc, etc. So it was no wonder when she decided to enter the academic life and study sociology. She was basically on her element.

For her first work, she wanted to write about the Curiós, a society of influential people in her city. She thought her research was a way to enrich the knowledge about her city’s history, however it seems that her curiosity lead her to a dangerous discovery: clues about crimes orchestrated by them.

If the clues are true then something has to be done about it! However, gathering evidence is a dangerous task and Maitê can imagine the dire possibilities that await her if she’s caught.

It’s in moments like that she wishes she had experience in crime solving...
