How about the De Clermonts reacting to adult Lucas being a vampire? Most notably Matthew and Diana? Maybe Diana encountering him in the city and idk they bump into each other and talk and suddenly Matthew enters and he and Lucas have essentialy kinda spiderman meme bc he may not recognize his son but his son recognizes him? And Jonathan Bailey as Lucas fancast obviously hehe

Diana was taken aback when she encountered the vampire who looked so much like her husband. He'd barely stopped when they almost bumped into each other.

"I am so sorry ma'am. I should've seen where I was going."

She gave him a smile and shook her head, "Not your fault--" "Lucas--I'm Lucas Charpentier--and you're?" She shook his outstretched hand, "Diana Bishop."

Lucas' face lit up at that, "The famous witch, Diana Bishop--you stood up to the congregation, did you not?"

"I did. Word travels fast I take it."

If he could blush he would, instead dipping his head and letting out a small chuckle.

As they stood there chatting, a car pulled up beside them, and the back of Diana's neck ran cold, Matthew.

"Can I help you, sir?" He asked coldly, a hand on Diana's back as he stared down Lucas. She tried to say something, but Matthew wouldn't listen.

"Father?" Lucas said, almost stunned. To the younger man, Matthew hadn't aged a day since they last saw each other, when Lucas was only a little boy.

"You--what?" Diana asked confused, looking from Lucas to Matthew and back to Lucas.

Matthew showed no sign of recognizing the young boy, but how could he, it had been centuries.

"Who are you?"

Lucas looked physically upset at the question, like he'd just been punched in the face. "I'm Lucas--your son--it's me, dad."

Diana wanted to pull him in for a hug the second he said that, not wanting the younger man to suffer any longer.

"That's impossible! They told me Lucas died, hours after his mother--centuries ago!"

"Take my blood, and see for yourself--" Diana shakes her head, "you will not, I can check, without hurting you Lucas." Freeing herself from Matthew, so moved closer to Lucas, hands out, "May I put my hands on the sides of your head?"

He nods at that, both ignoring Matthew's staring as Diana puts her hands on the temples of Lucas' head. Memories of the young man's long life came rushing forward, clouding Diana's mind, making her stumble slightly, but she kept her hands on him, trying to sift through it all, to find the start.

Matthew, looking so young, having one arm wrapped around a blonde woman's waist, and the woman holding a little brown haired boy, Lucas. They looked so happy.

Then--Blanca being carried away to be seen by a doctor--Lucas crying, clinging to his father's leg--Matthew crying too, but not as much--possibly staying strong for his son--hours after--Lucas is taken away too--reunited with his mom--and a strange woman--

Diana almost didn't want to let go, but feeling she's gotten what she needs, she lets go of his head. "It's true Matthew--he's telling the truth."

"But--I mourned for you--for both of you--I was so lost, without--" red streaks rolled down Matthew cheeks as he looked at Lucas again.

Diana came to his side quickly, pulling him in for a hug. "I'm sorry my love." She'd not seen him this broken--not since the memory of him after Philippe died.

They hugged for a bit longer, until he managed to compose himself, and look at his son once more, the younger vampire was crying too.

"Lucas?" Matthew opened his arms, letting the boy choose if he wanted to hug him or not, and he shot into his dad's arms, hugging him so tightly. "It's okay my boy. It's all okay."

6. Overtime by @storiesofsvu 😔🥰 Rafael Barba x Reader Honestly, read any of her stuff, you're guaranteed to enjoy it. I like this one in particular because it is such a well composed story. And she nailed Raf being a lovable dick 😂

Paoa Joe having doubts

He’s never felt doubt like this since the early stages of your relationship when he thought he wasn’t good enough for you.

But now as he stands in the nursery with a crying baby in his arms, wondering how it got to this. He hates the feeling. It’s his daughter, she’s half him and half you. So why won’t she settle?

After an hour she tired herself out from screaming and Joe can finally put her in her crib. He watches her sleep with tears forming in his eyes.

You find him crying on the couch. “Baby what’s wrong?” Worry instantly washing over you.

“I don’t know if I’m cut out for this.” His voice trembling. All the little things he’d been feeling since the news broke about you being pregnant started to wash over him.

“What?”

He looks up at you, tears still in his eyes. “Sofia was screaming for over an hour before finally falling asleep from exhaustion. The fact that the cops haven’t shown up on a welfare check is crazy to me.” He was rambling, and you hurried over to him to hold his face in your hand.

“I’m so sorry you had to go through that, she’s normally not like this.”

“Just like this with me. It’s okay amor, I get it. She’s getting bad vibes from me.”

You made him look at you again, shaking your head. “I’ve been putting her to bed every night for 6 months. She was probably really tired and not aware that I wouldn’t be there for bedtime tonight. She just needs some getting used to other bedtime routines is all.”

When he didn’t respond you climbed up on his lap and hugged him close, whispering comforting words to him.

Inspired by a discord conversation, but with Joe 👀

Reader being stuck late at work and FaceTimes with Joe because she misses him. But he’s in the gym, shirt off and working out, and she forgets how to breathe for a moment.

He notices and just "Breathe my darling." Which brings her out of the trance she's in from watching him.

"How soon can you make it home Jose?"

"Depends on what you had in mind."

Him being shirtless also stops any argument they were having.

She wants to do something special for him, dress in something sexy—but how do you turn on someone who has been alive for centuries?

She ends up buying lingerie with way too many straps. By the time he comes home, she’s still struggling to get it on, straps everywhere.

She’s almost frustrated to tears when he asks what’s going on. And he’s so touched when she complains that she wanted to be sexy for him.

No need to add to this cause this is just PERFECT 😍

He wants to help her, but that almost makes it worse because "I want to do this for you--"

I think my body, or at least my immune system, has a vendetta against me. This is the second year in a row where I’ve gotten sick on my birthday and the day after being worse 🤧😷 Please send care and some headcanons of any kind 🥺❤️

Okay but book nerd Sonny wanting to try his hand at writing. He finds out that there’s a class at the local library for free—just a creative writing workshop. The theme/genre is mysteries, so he decides to go.

But he can NOT focus, not when the woman running the workshop is so damn CUTE! He realizes he’s staring instead of writing, but the only thing coming out are cutesy poems.

He'd worry when she asks them to send her what they've written (maybe for grading or for feedback), knowing when she gets his she'll fail him for not writing what he was supposed to.

Staying back after everyone leaves so he can try to explain himself.

When he starts she asks him to be quiet for a moment, then she starts reading his poems. "These are really good Mr. Carisi", she'd tell him, giving him a really soft smile. "Not what I asked of the class today, but really well done."

Sonny blushes like crazy. "I'm sorry, I just--I couldn't get the feel of the theme somehow--"

"Because it hits a little close to home with your background in the NYPD?" He nods at that, nervously scratching the back of his neck. "I'm holding a poetry class next week, same time and place as today if you want to swing by and try that out."

"Ya are?"

It's her time to nod then, giving him another soft smile.

He agrees to come back, and she gives him homework, to write some poems for her to read when they meet again. "Get a small notebook and write them down there." He agrees again and rushes out after class to get the nicest-looking notebook he can get his hands on.

Okay but adow Matthew being referred to as Hades or an omen of Death (like how Philippe was Hercules).

Human!reader prays in an old, forgotten temple (this is back a few centuries from today). Maybe it’s for Zeus, or Persephone or someone. But men track her there.

Matthew knows of her and has a fondness for her. And she knows of him—as does everyone; they know if he locks eyes with them, that means he’s coming for them next.

He happens to be wandering by the temple when he hears her cry out. In a flash, he’s inside. The men are pinning y/n down, but they haven’t gotten her clothes off yet. In an instant, Matthew has them all dead, leaving her blinking in shock.

“Am I next, Omen/Hades?”

“Of course not, darling. I will keep you safe”

I AM LOVING THIS!!!! 😍

Are we thinking an AU when he's from ancient Greece? Or maybe just a reincarnation of Hades? 👀 There are so many possibilities here!

I'd love to plot a "retelling" of Matthew as Hades and reader as Persephone if you're interested 🥰
