wed been managing to hold on for a while with things, while immensely stressful, still being... okay. extremely tight and bad, but tolerable, barely.

today, i was woken up by a screaming argument - he is demanding we somehow cough up $300 by today because we "dont pay rent", despite us paying for literally everything else to keep us ALL afloat. this has genuinely never been brought up until just now, not once has he ever tried to communicate that to us, just . he dropped it like an anvil on us with no warning. nothing.

i genuinely am at a loss of what to do. im so exhausted and angry. i dont know anymore. i wish i had better updates to give but i dont.

hello ! im rex, a nonbinary lesbian stuck in florida. like countless other trans adults, my hrt care was abruptly stripped from me with the passing of SB 254, after being on T with 0 problem for 3 years. being very visibly trans, on top of the awful situation my family has been dealing with for 18 years now, is making staying here impossible.

besides continuing my care in peace, escape will Also allow myself and my family to be free from the grasp of our excruciatingly abusive grandfather, whos verbal and extreme financial abuse has gotten vastly worse in the last ~2 years after the loss of my grandmother.

this all comes to: the laptop i use currently for paid work is very, very old. it has been fighting me with clip studio a Lot lately, which makes comms really frustrating to work on. so, i am trying to save for one that is stronger that can handle what i need it to, in order to speed my work process up and be able to help further in getting us the fuck out of here. we have a rough goal of around august on wanting to start actually leaving, but there is wiggle room.

huge screaming match over a tiny laundry error. i got insulted for it when it was something i didnt even do. my dad jumped to my moms defense because he couldnt stand hearing her be screamed at, it was a whole thing, he now has left down the road.

my concern is him threatening us with eviction or something at this rate.

he also has been ominously talking about no longer wanting two cars. our car is in his name because he tricked us way back; a long story. hes an absolute control freak and if he does this, it WILL limit our ability to go anywhere or leave the house at all.

in highly good news, my mom's insurance helped her get in with a highly regarded diabetes doctor ! he has a regimen he is recommending for her to try to help her bad heart + to help get her mobile again.

we really need to get the grocery order in particular ASAP ($100) for this to happen, but we dont want to dip into the crowdfund pool for this, as weve already had to do so for $200 to get her a new oxygen machine after my grandfather has repeatedly berated her until she has cried for her current one being ""too loud"".
