this has been on my mind for some time now and I just wanted to come on here and let this wonderful, sweet, incredibly supportive fandom know that I will no longer be writing for ratld once I finish my current fics (curse of kumandra, you cooled my mind, and do not move stones). with that said, curse is almost finished and the other two still have a bit of a ways to go. what will likely happen is I will try and finish curse asap, take a break, then finish the others.

I have thoroughly enjoyed writing for y'all and have loved being in this fandom. I will still be here, just not writing fanfic. I've experienced some major burnout the past few months and each time I have posted, it feels like finishing a chore. it lacks the excitement it used to have. this isn't to say that I will never write for this fandom again, because you never know where creativity takes you, but right now I can't keep doing it.

in truth, I have been spending serious time on a personal project that has slowly been in the works for just over a year now, and my heart is calling me to focus on that. it is a book (ofc sapphic) that I intend to publish one day, because that is the road I want to go down. in addition, I have been going through some big life changes and decisions which take priority.

I appreciate everything this fandom has done for me. thank y'all for being so great and always supporting me.
