I spent the last five hours on colouring this lineart I did yesterday, and it was fun! I had forgotten how much fun I got out of drawing before...

Fanart ireally is the best way to get out of art blocks.

Becoming an adult is when you stop hating Sakura, realize she's been done dirty by canon all along, and just decide to stick to whatever you think the best fanon adaptation is. Mine is slightly unhinged and uses senbon.

I feel like I used to be more original in the clothing departement, but I guess for now I'll have to go with a slightly modified version of a mixture of her uniforms. Don't think too hard on how the fabric of her dress works, I have no idea myself. I spent way to much time on her tattoo, haha.

Do you have any tips for finding art references of younger people? Especially fat or plus size ones

I don't currently know of any resources for child or teen pose models. I personally only hire models that are 18+ for many reasons, though my kid does appear incidentally in some images and I often leave her in with her face obscured. When I was doing illustrations of kids I spent a lot of time looking at generic stock sites trying to find what I needed or adapting adult poses to kid proportions. I hope someone sees this and can point you in the right direction! ♥

DEJ & Pride Planning

June is sneaking up on me. 👀 It's historically a very busy month for me! I am planning on running Draw Everything June again. DEJ a drawing challenge where I post a new pose every M-F and artists complete a sketch of all the poses. This will be my 9th year doing it! Last year I had a prize pack of poses for everyone who finished it. I will probably do something similar this year so I hope you can look forward to it.

-- June is also when I do my fundraising for queer orgs to celebrate Pride. 🏳️‍⚧️♥🏳️‍🌈

This year I plan to fundraise for three groups again: The Trevor Project, Transgender Emergency Fund Massachusetts, and The Theater Offensive. I was thinking this year I might revive some expired packs, put them together into a big discounted Pride Pack II and use the sales from that for the donation. What I'd like to know is which past packs would you be the most interested in seeing? I was going to keep them queer themed (like the polyamory pack?) but I could revive any expired pack. It's fundraising so the more people interested, the better! You can see a history of all the themed packs since 2015 in my Master Post on Patreon. Please lmk which ones you'd like to see make a comeback for Pride! 🌟

Happy Birthday to Sir Nem! Ive really been feeling attached to him lately, he’s one I’ve always wanted to do more with and loved the knight idea for him but felt like I went back and forth with his design a lot (never forget Ginger Sir Nems brief appearance) but now I have really settled into him having sentient alien armor that has a very organic feel to it! I will still draw this version of his design a lot, even though current Sir Nem is meant to have the black armor. I hope these have been enjoyable so far, I’ve had a lot of fun working on them!! Also funny story about the pinker Nemling. I had accidentally coloured them that shade, but felt it still worked really well so I kept it! I had always intended for Nemlings to vary in shades of red/pink anyways! Also…is Sir Nem hiding something about himself ? Or does he himself even know what he really is….

Hello, my dear! I hope you're having a wonderful day. I wanted to inquire about something in regards to delivery! I ordered the Handy Hand Book and Fancy Foot Book way back on March 19th, and it says on my tracking app that they've been in the New York sorting center since March 29th. As of typing this ask, it is April 16th. Is it normal for it to stay there that long, or is there something wrong? I hope I'm not out of line asking this here instead of in an e-mail, I just have horrible e-mail anxiety. Please get back to me when you can, and thank you!
