Derry Haibun Revisited
It's one year since I posted the Derry Haibun. Haibun is a form combining prose and haiku. Bashō pioneered haibun as travelogue but he also embraced character sketches, landscape scenes, anecdotal vignettes and occasional writings, as well as essays. wild salmon sky the horizon breaks the flax Derry Haibun (Dec 15) is an account of my first trip to Derry~Londonderry in Northern Ireland, nattering about its history and some of my experiences over a weekend there.
