here’s a sneak peak at an upcoming Halloween themed piece i am working on.

i came up with this idea a few days ago and i wanted to start posting it within the month of October but based on the pace i am working at it might take sometime to get it started so please enjoy this little sneak peak and thumbs up for who ever can guess on what exactly is happening here.

So I LOVE the idea of a meet the parents fic where Danny is dating one of the bat kids and he is invited over to meet the rest of the family.

Whatever batkid you like (i personally like Tim x Danny)

And dinner is going GREAT, danny is charming the hell out of everyone when he says something vaguely concerning about his home life that borders neglect (or even just straight abuse) and Danny doesnt know what he said was wrong and just keeps eating without a thought.

Maybe he complimented Alfred’s cooking and said, “man this is great! Even better when it doesn’t get reanimated by your parents experiments” or “wow, I wish my folks cooked meals for me and my sister like this.”

and Bruce just gets that look in his eye. you know the one! And whoever is next to Bruce kicks him in the shin and glares at him like, “I know what your thinking! Don’t you dare!” And bruce just looks at them like, “but I cant not adopt him!” And danny is blissfully unaware of this whole conversation.

But if damien was the one who brought danny he would immediately offer for danny to stay without consulting ANYONE. like after he says vaguely concerning things damien is just like, “move here and you don’t have to go hungry ever again.” Or “live with me and i will protect you forever.” Or even just, “bring your sister next time, i am concerned for your health if your parents can reanimate food.”

On the flip side: Danny bringing one of the bats home with HIM!

Jazz would be SO excited to meet Danny’s significant other! Danny had been dreading bringing his bat home with him because his parents were EMBARRASSING (absent or explosive) so there they are sitting around the table waiting for jack and maddie and eventually danny sighs and just says its ok and to start eating. Jazz almost gets up to go hound their parents about this but danny stops her and smiles. Then like a hour later an explosion in the basement shakes the house and up from the basement Jack and Maddie wearing full hazmat suits burst through the basement doors as smoke bellows out. In the possess maddie greets them and goes back to doing what she was doing. The whole time the bat is mentally cataloging very problematic behavior the Fenton’s are showing as well as thinking of ways to bring danny and his sister somewhere safe.

OR

Jack and Maddie cause a fire in the kitchen while Danny’s bat is over and the fenton kids sigh like this has happened before, danny turns to jazz “ill go get the fire extinguisher.” And jazz nods, “Ill order takeout, any preferences?”

OR

Danny comes home with their bat to Jazz looking nervous and when danny sees her he immediately realizes that it is his parents doing the cooking tonight and is about to walk right back out the door with their bat but his dad walks out and stops him with a bright smile.

The bat is intimidated by Jack’s sheer size (he is a very large man and they never thought that someone could be taller than Superman but here was Jack Fenton) and then when they sit down to eat after Jack spent an hour talking at them. But then the food is reanimated and starts to attack and so the bat fights back and impresses the fenton parents with their fighting skills.

Either way both would be a disaster and i am LIVING for it!!!!!

More Adult Adrienette PTSD Headcanons

Fashion designer Marinette gets a reputation for designing primarily in black. In fact, many of her interns have learned not to try to show her designs with too many colors in them, because the cause the normally patient and sweet Marinette to basically have a meltdown. What nobody realizes is that, after 5 years of fighting garish supervillains 4 times a week, many-colored outfits cause her to spiral into panic attacks. She designs in black because it’s her comfort color, because it’s what Chat wears.

Every time Adrien hears his daughter cry he basically freezes. What if he does it wrong? What if he hurts her? What if he becomes his father?

Marinette can’t stand to be near the ocean. That vast expanse of water brings up too many memories. She’s seen Paris drown too many times. Chat Blanc. Miracle Queen. Syren. All of them among the worst days of her life. Any time it RAINS too hard and the Seine starts to swell past its banks, she has to close all her blinds so she can’t see it.

Max’s Miraculous Battle videogame has become massively successful and popular. Adrien can’t even look at the ads. Whenever a new sequel releases, the next month tends to be absolute hell for him.

Every time Marinette forgets something, she panics. What if that was something connected to being the Guardian? What if she’s already given up her memories and just doesn’t know it?

Adrien couldn’t stand his first two birthdays, and christmases, after Hawkmoth. It was only once Marinette saw the relief on his face when he realized that people had given him gifts that actually mattered that she realized. Every year she makes sure to reassure him that nobody’s forgotten, that presents are being prepared, that he no one will ignore him. (This eventually gets a little better right around when Marinette throws him a party for his fifth name day, which he didn’t even remember was a thing.)

Any time anyone gets angry around her, Marinette’s brain involuntarily starts cataloguing her surroundings for hiding places and potential weapons. If she gets caught before she can transform… Convincing herself that no butterfly is coming, that it’s okay, usually takes at least ten minutes.

Any time Marinette starts coughing, Adrien basically loses all coherency.

His reaction to her being near anything remotely dangerous—even stupid or improbable dangers—is even worse. One time she got a little too close to the curb while the bus was pulling up and he barely managed not to throw himself between them. He once had a panic attack because a mosquito landed on her, because too many Akuma could summon or control insects.

On particularly stormy days, especially if the thunder gets too loud, both of them just hold each other, shaking, until the rain starts to slow.

Baby Nyx Headcanon

Sometimes when Rhys holds Nyx he gets throwbacks to the day of his birth, when he almost lost Nyx and Feyre. He feels the panic rising inside of him and everytime that happens Nyx wraps his little baby hand around Rhys's finger.

The first few times Rhys thought it was coincidence but he does that every single time. And it always calms Rhys down, remembering his mate and his son are well and alive

Nyx Headcanon

When Nyx cries, Feyre usually makes some water animals to calm him down. Nyx loves it! He always stops crying and is watching these little water animals with big eyes

One day Feyre is sad. Maybe just because she's on her cycle or because she had a fight or whatever. Anyways, she is sitting there, sad. And suddenly there flies a water butterfly in front of her face. She looks at Nyx, surprised. He just giggles happily

it’s the first day of winter when word arrives that feyre has given birth to a son overnight

both nesta and cassian drop everything to go to velaris

the labour had been so quick

and two weeks early

there hadn’t been time to send for them to be there for their nephew’s arrival

‘just like feyre - last born in the family but has to do everything first and fastest,’ nesta comments as cassian flies over the outskirts of the city

‘for your sake, let’s hope it’s an archeron thing - ow!’

‘we are not having children for a while yet, so you can keep that thinking to yourself.’

cassian merely laughs, and nesta feels the rumble of it in his chest

feyre’s asleep when they arrive

the baby had been born in the darkest hour of the night

fittingly enough

rhysand looks euphoric and bedraggled and a little bewildered that he has a child

cassian draws him into a tight embrace, kissing his brother’s brow

nesta is a little more… aloof

there’s still a battle’s worth of bad blood between her and the high lord

she offers him a nod and a quiet congratulations

they go through to where the rest of the family are having a celebratory drink

at nine in the bloody morning

Nyx Headcanon

Nyx will have a phase where he constantly hangs on Feyre. Like, constantly. He has to sleep in Feysands bed, he has to be with Feyre when she eats, when she works, when she paints.

It's going so far that when Feyre has to use the toilet or wants to take a bath, Rhys has to distract him with his powers. Like using his darkness and play with it or popping things out of the pocket realm where Nyx goes "Woah!"

And one day they have a meeting and Feyre just kinda tricks him and glamours Elain as Feyre so Feyre can go to the meeting. And in the middle of the meeting Nyx suddenly winnow into Feyres lap.

Elain comes running into the room, panicked. Nyx just vanished. Feyre chuckles and say "Nyx, you can't scare Auntie Elain like that!"

Nyx Headcanon

Feyre and Rhys aren't able to catch Bryaxis. And years later, when Nyx is a teenager, he's walking through the Night Court forest and suddenly he hears a voice

"Little Archeron. Heir of the Night Court."

And Nyx is scared out of his mind. He promised his Mama he will be careful when he goes out.

Turns out Bryaxis showed up because there are worse things in that Forest that are after Nyx. Bryaxis is there to protect Nyx

And from that day on Bryaxis and Nyx are Prythians most chaotic duo

While Feyre is pregnant the Inner Circle is very protective of her and as much as she loves it and thinks it's cute, it gets annoying with time.

Some day she tells them as much and to give her some space and their response is "If you don't let us take care of you, then you have to let us at least take care of our nephew"

Tiny little Nyx Headcanon

One day, Rhys goes outside with Nyx to go on a walk, without Feyre. Maybe to give her a little break. And on their way Nyx sees a pretty flower that he has to pick up. When Rhys asks him who that flower is for, Nyx grins up at him and says "Mama!"
