didn’t want to come back here after leaving the site more than 2 years ago but apparently I don’t have a choice... at least for this post. I’ve been receiving emails from people who want to join the scanlation group but honestly, the whole thing’s been on hiatus for over a year. I don’t have much free time anymore and I don’t have the motivation to work on it. so it’s been sitting off to the side for a long time. I’ll get back to it eventually, but I just don’t know when, so there’s no timetable for it. it’s just on hiatus till further notice

if you want to see where you can find the scanlated stuff that’s not tumblr, the updated post is here. I’ve quit several other websites as well, so I’m primarily on twitter and facebook. I’ve also added my email so those who don’t have - or want - an account at the sites listed, they can still contact me via email but please expect slow replies

I’m going to update a few pages here to announce the hiatus, then I’ll truly be gone from here for good. I still hate tumblr and want no part of it ever again.

so here’s the final post I’m making on this site. it’s after midnight cst so it’s monday. I’m no longer going to make any posts here after this one. I’m sick and tired of this website and I’ve been trying for years and years to get away from here. me leaving on the day tumblr’s latest stupid rule goes into effect serves two purposes: one because I’m protesting the rule and two, I’m fed up with tumblr

if you want to see where I’ll be, the latest list of websites is here. the only additional link I’ll add is for the ace attorney stuff, which is in the process of being archived on wordpress. on 18 december, I’m deleting some of my sideblogs, which includes the “personal” one and the aa sideblog (after it finishes transferring to wordpress). I have a few saved url’s but I’m probably just going to leave them saved. the app is deleted from my phone so expect incredibly slow replies, if any, for my discord or facebook usernames

so we've all heard about tumblr's upcoming attempt to shut down porn and other "adult content". now, my blogs are all sfw, but this is just the latest in tumblr's stupid crap they've been pulling for years. I've been here since 2011 and this place just gets worse and worse. I've been trying to find a better alternative for several years

anyway, to get to the point. I've got accounts on other sites, and tend to be most active on instagram. I also have discord but no one talks to me on it so I only use it to communicate with the other scanlation group I'm in, goldenroze scans. here's a list of all the places I'm at currently; I'm investigating other sites as well so I'll update the list if/when I join others

the reason I’m doing this is because I’ve had it with this site. I’m leaving tumblr. to be precise, I’m leaving on 17 december when the new rule is enacted. I’m angered the staff would do such a thing even though I’ve never been here for the porn; this is basically the figurative straw that broke the camel’s back. I will completely log out of tumblr on the 17th but after that, I’ll be gone for good. I may pop back in from time to time to see if there are any asks or w/e, but I’ll be deleting the mobile app from my phone that day. the aforementioned links will be the places you’ll see new pages as they come up, as they won’t be posted here anymore

if you have any questions, comments, concerns, etc, send and ask or dm and I’ll reply as soon as I get the chance. I’ll also make another post on 16 december to remind everyone about this blog, and all my sideblogs, shutting down for good

Have you translated the entirety of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Anthology, and if so have you compiled a list of all of them, and where is that list? If not, could you translate what you haven't yet? I would be willing to pay you to do so.

it’s about 85% done? thereabouts. the problem is that my copy of the book got badly water-damaged last year and I’ve yet to buy another clean copy. (it’s expensive importing stuff from japan okay) I figured the best thing to do at this point is wait until I get another copy of the book, then work on getting it done

as for where you can read the currently-scanlated pages, I made a tag for it on my projects page, but for ease of access, a direct link is here. once it’s completely finished, I’ll have it up on mangadex

so apparently tumblr is a piece of crap and didn’t notify me of the first message (on the bottom) but I was notified of nessie’s. so I’ll answer both of em here and I apologise to the very nice anon and hope they didn’t have to wait very long for me to see the message

first of all, you’re welcome to the both of you; this is actually something I’d been wanting to do for many years, but could never find a translator. if it wasn’t for me talking with nessie about an “apollo justice manga”, and rubia eventually seeing the post I’d made about the aj anthology, none of this would’ve happened. so I’ve gotta thank you as well, nessie, as well as rubia

second, these manga are all coming from japan; I live in ‘murica and I’ve had to pay some pretty high shipping costs to get the books here. there were a small handful that got published in english but too many weren’t, and I know they never will. since I’d obtained my books, I really enjoyed looking at the pictures but it was frustrating not knowing what anything said. I’d wanted to share the books with non-japanese fans, but it’s kind of pointless when almost all who’d read the pages would be in the same boat, so to speak, of not being able to read anything. this is why I’m extremely grateful for rubia volunteering to translate since there’s no way I could afford to pay anyone to translate all the pages from each book (and then there are 21 doujins I also own that aren’t in english), and I’m very happy I finally have the chance to share all this manga that we’ll never get to see in english, in english. I’d love to share it in even more languages, if anyone would like to translate from english to another language
