Everything in Umbrella Academy would’ve worked better if they made Vanya’s medication a big deal.
Instead of saying “it’s for your nerves” they should’ve said “it’s for your heart so you don’t die. If you run out get more as soon as possible”. If Vanya ran out of pills she’d be too nervous to not get some. Problem solved.
