Different Class (1995)

For all the talk about the more sexual side of the writing in Pulp songs, I never see addressed the social commentary beyond common people. And their most famous album, Different Class, starts out with a cry out for that exact *different* class of people who even thought society is built to put you in a box and for you to feel guilty for standing out, they still are very noticeably different and won't allow themselves to live in a way that's unauthentic to themselves. And even how thinking outside of the box would lead to better use of your mind and not just mindlessly following whatever trend society is made to follow. There's more to be said about this but I'll leave it at this for now.
