Contradicción.

Una noche más en casa y sobrio, cansado de esperar algo que no sé qué sea, pero que anhelo tanto para sentirme yo mismo otra vez, algo o alguien que me complemente o que me traiga paz interior (¿por qué al final quién no desea sentirse así?). Sentirse sin ese enorme vacío en el pecho, noche con noche, insomnio tras insomnio, un cigarro y otro más porque uno nunca es suficiente como decía Oscar Wilde, pues es el ejemplo perfecto del placer; jamás obtienes satisfacción entera de uno solo y cuando dejas de hacerlo vuelve el vacío. Pienso seriamente que fumar es suspirar con dolor, por eso muchos lo hacen, por eso muchos son adictos a eso, al sacar humo y sentirse como desahogados, como que expulsan parte de ese vacío en el pecho, pero que luego regresa y es hora de volver a lo mismo o a acompañarlo de un buen trago y al final el vacío termina regresando. ¿Es el amor propio la respuesta? Últimamente lo he intentado. Creo que suele funcionar, hay veces que me siento tranquilo conmigo, pero es triste (o humano, muy humano) aceptar que no siempre puedo cargar con todo yo solo. Pero también soy una persona que no le gusta pedir ayuda o necesitar de los demás, aunque sí lo necesito. Es como una rara contradicción constante esto de crecer, madurar y evolucionar.

Los amigos, la familia, los conocidos, compañeros de trabajo, desconocidos con los que sueles compartir algunas palabras para después despedirse y quizá nunca más volverse a topar: todos tienen un propósito en nuestro camino; puntos de quiebre van y vienen, no todos los caminos se vuelven a cruzar, ¿pero qué pasa cuando ese es el caso? ¿Volver a cruzar caminos con alguien? Lo que nadie nos dice es que los caminos se pueden volver a cruzar, pero caminarlos es opcional. Me baso mucho en lo que canta Serrat en su interpretación de Caminante no hay camino (que es mi versión preferida de tal canción), sobre todo en la estrofa que extraen directamente del poema de Antonio Machado:

Caminante, no hay camino, se hace camino al andar. Al andar se hace el camino, y al volver la vista atrás se ve la senda que nunca se ha de volver a pisar.

Aunque también es menester mencionar que siendo nosotros los dueños de nuestro camino, a veces las cosas se nos salen de la mano y somos consecuencia de nuestros actos. ¿A qué me refiero con esto? A que por más que planeemos todo, las circunstancias y sus jugarretas hacen de nosotros lo que el titiritero con su principal artefacto.

Yo ya no quiero pensar en qué me depara el futuro, pero es inevitable no hacerlo. Soy humano y eso me vuelve curioso por naturaleza (y como el gato, la curiosidad me ha matado muchas veces). Sin embargo, si pudiera describirme con un animal diría que soy un zorro: astuto, leal, inteligente y formal, pero comúnmente mal juzgado y pocas veces comprendido, solitario, aunque esté rodeado de otras personas. Me he decidido a ser una persona que mira más por los otros que por mí mismo porque muchas veces eso me ayuda, el apoyar a los demás, pero no siempre es suficiente. Es decir, ¿quién me ayuda verdaderamente a mí sin yo pedírselo? Mi problema es creer que no le importo a nadie cuando sí hay personas que están conmigo y para mí, aunado al hecho de que no me gusta pedir ayuda de nadie o sentirme necesitado; vuelvo a lo mismo, todo esto es una gran contradicción y no nos queda más que tratar de aclarar la mente, encontrar la respuesta y ser feliz cuando se pueda y siempre que se pueda; de eso se trata el vivir. Morir es sencillo, vivir, en cambio, es toda una odisea.
