We visited various well-known and delectable restaurants and food stands in Binondo, Manila, which are detailed in this blog.
A trip to Chinatown wouldn't be complete without trying the authentic Chinese food. It was my first visit to Manila Chinatown, which is located in the city's third district.
Before we ate, we went to Quiapo Church. As we wandered, I noticed that the street was filled with stores selling food, souvenirs, and pasalubong.
These are some foods that I tried and recommended to you.
New Po Heng
The food consists of freshly made lumpia topped with a generous amount of peanut sauce, seaweed, and sugar for added taste and texture. It can be found in Binondo, Manila, at 627 Carvajal St. You'll need to find a place to consume it as there isn't an area for dining. You can be thrilled because they served big servings. It would be best if you shared it with some family or friends.
Sincerity Cafe and Restaurant
It's among the first restaurants catering Binondo's community. They have plenty of wonderful dishes. You may find them at Binondo, Manila, at 497 Yuchengco Street. In addition to relyenong hipon, kikiam, sweet and sour pork, and fried chicken, we also ordered fried rice. They don't just serve us typical food. I've tried Relyenong Hipon for the first time. They have fried chicken that is tender and crunchy, and their kikiam is so delicious that it goes beyond simple kikiam. If you are dining with a small group, order a smaller portion because the food comes in a large amount.
Dom Bei Dumplings
This shop offered authentic dumplings from the northeast of China. It is located at 642 Yuchengco Street, Binondo,Manila.
If you are looking for an authentic dumpling, you should try this. I always saw this dumpling shop on television and social media. They are famous for kutchay dumplings, and now that I have tasted them, I know why they are famous. If you want to know how it tastes, then you should try it!
Oshiekun Chinese Bites
Visit Oshiekun Chinese Bites to try their youtiao, or Chinese bicho, if you're craving something crispy and delicious. It is similar to a regular bicho, but it is longer. It is locatec at 838 Ongpin St., Binondo, Manila
Shanghai fried siopao
If you want to taste the original Shanghai fried siopao, andif you are wandering on ongpin street, it is just next to Oshiekun Bites. The siopao is delicious even without sauce and so meaty.
The majority of food stands and shops don't have places to eat, so all the food that we bought we ate on the sidewalk, and Chinatown is so crowded in Chinese New Year that all the food stands and food restaurants have queues. If you can't go to Binondo on Chinese New Year, you can just go anytime, but if you want the best experience, go during Chinese New Year.
Tips when you go to Binondo
•Wear comfortable clothes
•Tumbler
•Just bring small bag
•Bring something that can protect you from the sun.
