Desiblr, as usual, is colourful today. Especially with war breaking out between India and Pakistan and Iâm seeing so many different viewpoints and as someone who currently lives in Jammu and Kashmir and saw and heard the missiles, who has friends whoâs families live on the border, whatever the fuck is happening right now is not pretty. Itâs not good.
Schools, houses and residents also got hurt and bombed in poonch last night. People gloating about last night on desiblr are the people who live far away and in the safety of their homes. People here are not collateral damage btw. We are people. Itâs dangerous. Itâs fucking crazy.
Students here are fleeing in terror. You guys are fucking crazy. This is war and this is not funny or cool. Itâs so easy to be patriotic when you and your loved ones are not scared out of your wits and not suffering.

Terrorist attack, civilians killed.
India: retaliates, clears out terror camps
Pakistan: Treats terror attacks as national offence, starts attacking indian civilian residences, moves army bases to densely populated areas
India: Damages 9+ air bases, 2 radar bases
Pakistan: calls up US, requests ceasefire, breaks ceasefire in 2.5 hours, declares victory at 3am in the morning? prime minister praises military chief for? whatever reason? insists military chief does not listen to their Prime Minister? đ
#what is wrong with these ppl i donot understand#they broke ceasefire again#right after Indian military press con where they explicitly stated there will be consequences#operation sindoor

Since I've been getting a lot of interaction on here recently, I feel like this is long overdue-
PSA: Read Before You Follow or Engage
This space is zero tolerance for:
Terror apologists
Pakistan sympathizers who ignore their history of violence
Those who justify or dismiss attacks on Indian civilians and soldiers
People who play the âboth sidesâ card when one side sponsors terrorism
Those who compare Indiaâs right to self-defense with apartheid regimes
Bigots hiding behind âactivismâ while spewing selective outrage
Anyone who mocks the pain of Kashmiri Pandits, Indian soldiers, or innocent civilians killed by Pakistani state-sponsored terror
Homophobes, transphobes, or anyone who disrespects queer lives and identities
Racists/Casteists
This is not a place for performative wokeness or moral grandstanding based on half-baked narratives.
I stand for truth, justice, equality, and peace that isnât one-sided.
If that offends you, this isnât your space.

In 2006, the United States signed arms transfer agreements with Pakistan in excess of $3.5 billion, ranking Pakistan first among all arms clients of the United States during that calendar year. The key elements in Pakistan's arms purchases from the United States were 36 F-16C/D Block 50/52 fighter aircraft for $1.4 billion; a variety of missiles and bombs to be utilized on the F-16 C/D fighter aircraft for over $640 million; the purchase of Mid-Life Update Modification Kits to upgrade Pakistan's F-16A/B aircraft for $890 million; and 115 M109A5 155mm Self-propelled howitzers for $52 million. The rise of Pakistan to its new status as a major arms purchaser from the United States is particularly noteworthy given the difficulties the United States has had with Pakistan since the 1970s over its successful effort to produce nuclear weapons. The total value of Pakistan's 2006 arms purchases from the United States nearly matches the total value of all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program purchases by Pakistan from the United States for the entire period from FY1950-FY2001 (more than $3.6 billion in current dollars). For the period from calendar year 2005 through calendar year 2008, Pakistan has placed orders with the United States for defense articles and services through the FMS program valued at $4.5 billion.1
It's outrageous and absolutely infuriating that the U.S. handed over more than $3.5 billion worth of deadly weapons to Pakistanâa country with a well-documented history of breeding terrorism, destabilizing the region, and violating every notion of peace. How can a nation that claims to fight terrorism fund and arm the very state that has time and again used such weapons against its own neighbors? This isnât just hypocrisyâitâs a slap in the face to every nation thatâs been a victim of Pakistan-sponsored violence. Strategic interests donât justify empowering a reckless, dangerous state with F-16s and missiles. Itâs not diplomacy; itâs feeding the fire. And then the world expects us to stay calm, to show restraint? Enough. Peace cannot survive in a region where one side is constantly armed to the teeth while the other is told to turn the other cheek.

Pakistan violates ceasefire with India.
Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.
It hadnât even been 3 hours since the news of ceasefire and theyâre already back at their terrorist activities.
You cannot defend this anymore.

The sheer diplomatic ingenuity of Operation Sindoor is astounding. I love the name, by the way. How poetically apt.

May 9th, evening: Heavy drone attacks on 13+ Indian cities, in residential areas. India retaliates lightly, defensively knocking out drones. Attacks continue and increase.
May 10th, 01:40am: India retaliates, targeting and damaging Pakistani airbases.
May 10th, 5:30 am: Credible source confirm 5+ military bases attacked. Meanwhile drone attacks on Indian cities continue.
May 10th, afternoon: 11+ Pakistani military bases attacked.
May 10th, 15:35 pm. The DGMO, Pakistan dials up Indian diplomats requesting a ceasefire. The military heads of both countries reach an understanding to cease fire from 17:00 hours, while India's stance on the IWT policy holds.
And now we have Trump hyphenating India and Pakistan, trying to lord over a ceasefire that was directly brokered with an understanding between the two countries.
FYI, the ceasefire lasted less than an hour, though credible reports state the time to be less than 3 hours, before Pakistan started attacking Akhnoor.
Last night: Pakistan attacked 20+ cities, civilian residential areas along the Indo-Pak border the entire night.
And this is just the officially confirmed bits and I won't speak about the unofficial sensitive info. Mind you, our officials really don't release much info mostly because they know what things will be taken out of context like.
And in the morning, India is the aggressor.
1947 pakistan attacked first
1965 pakistan attacked first
1971 pakistan attacked first
1999 pakistan attacked first
2001 terrorist attack by pakistan
2006 terrorist attack by pakistan
2008 11/26 terrorist attack by pakistan
2016 terrorist attack by pakistan
2019 terrorist attack by pakistan
2025 terrorist attack by pakistan
yet the cries for peace and humanity only echo when India retaliates.
the world weeps when terrorist camps are reduced to dustâbut stayed silent when our people were turned to ashes. was our blood not red enough to stain headlines? did it not matter, just because it flowed quietly through classrooms and prayer halls in Poonch? where was the outrage when bombs fell on unaware children in response to us shelling their terrorists? when prayers were silenced mid-sentence in Gurudwara?
was peace not a global concern then?
was humanity not an international concern when our unarmed citizens were hunted down and killed right in front of their familyâmercilessly shot in the name of religionâwhen all they wanted was to enjoy a vacation with their families in the hills of Pahalgam?
do only terrorists deserve mercy? not the child clutching his dead fatherâs shirt? not the mother who still sets a plate for the son whoâll never come home?
why does the world stay silent when we mourn, but raise its voice when we defend?
do the hands that carry weapons of hate deserve more compassion than the hands that held their daughterâs as they died?
#can't believe western media is this unconcerned pakistan has been testing nukes#it's not like we are in need of sympathy and it has always been like this#but the blood money needs to STOP#and we really care when something happens in your country.#If I see even one reblog or comment victimizing a terror state I will block you no arguments no comments#will try to make a comprehensive timeline by the evening.#mutuals sorry I came back this aggressive

As someone who remembers 9/11 and 7/7 and the aftermath of both very well, two things strike me:
1. Leftists now are doing the very same thing that right wing bigots did - conflating ordinary Muslims living their everyday lives with extremist Islamist terrorists.
2. Theyâre doing this IN FAVOUR of the terrorists! To the point where every terrorist attack that kills innocent civilians is actually some sort of social justice praxis against âcolonialism.â
You donât actually have to side with terrorists to prove how very open minded and unracist you are - when you look at a Muslim and all you see is the potential for violence - whether âterroristâ or âfreedom fighterâ then youâre a fucking bigot, and it doesnât really matter what area of the political spectrum you sit in.
#cannot believe how silent the western media is about what happens in Asia#like I know they don't care#just didn't know they didn't give a flying fuck either#pahalgam attacks

thereâs a lot of evidence that the iliad and the odyssey were actually composed by a variety of poets through an oral tradition rather than just by one poet, so what if the homeric texts are actually just a very long game of D&D
