"We trained a pigeon to recognise cancerous cell clusters and somehow they're really good at it" okay great, that's something that could plausibly be a thing.

"We trained a pigeon to recognise good CV:s and left it in charge of sorting through all our job applications" uh perhaps consider not doing that.

I finished my reading of the available Witchland books and I just !!! I have a lot of emotions about it, but also a lot of gripes if I’m honest. The writing is very simple and basic, lots of telling not showing, but there are some things that I really liked. The characters are very interesting tho and I really just wanna know what happens to them. But I gotta wait till the next book comes out I guess.

I would like to confirm that, three books in, something along the lines of “as soon as she had stabbed him in the heart, it was hers” appeared so like I wasn’t super far off, but now they’re on opposite sides of the continent for the next book

I just borrowed Truthwitch from the library on a whim and NO SPOILERS in the event that there’s actually a fandom about this book, but I got to the part where there’s a character who is functionally immortal as long as his head doesn’t get cut off, and one of the main female characters just stabbed him in the heart and I’m like “aw this is totally gonna be an enemies to lovers arc” and I’m a little worried for my sanity if that’s where my brain instantly goes

“Oh how did you two meet?”

“Well I was hunting down her friend and then she pushed me out a window and stabbed me in the heart.”

“… oh”

The show was planned as ending at season 5 but was popular so they just kept going. Starting at season 4 would be a little weird (for me, a filthy “Swan Song is the show finale” truther).

The show is actually really fun for the first few seasons, so I’d give it a chance! Plus, you’ll get to really stew in Dean’s trauma before Cas shows up, so Cas showing up will have a bigger punch.

If I, for example, wanted to watch Supernatural solely and only for Castiel would I, like, have to start from the beginning or could I just start from Season 3 and then go from there. Like is there lore that I need to learn first to watch the show or can I just straight into staring at Funny Little Angel in a Trench Coat in Love With a Loser Ass Human.
