My Goals and Reading for Pleasure Goals for 2021
Hey everyone, Amber here!
We are at the end of 2020 which has been a crummy year for all of us due to the plague and other horrible things that I look forward to enjoying the rest of December Blessings Month by reading and more.
So I was just curious. What are your goals and reading for pleasure goals you'd like to accomplish in the new year 2021? Let me know in the comments and feel free to follow me back.
Here are some of my goals:
*Continue to try 1 new thing everyday which I started that challenge back on my birthday September 26 until that date next year. Today was Day 69 so I did a Christmas Dance Workout. You can follow my challenge at http://ambertriesnewthings87.tumblr.com to keep track of my challenge.
* Continue my reading for pleasure challenge where I read 1 book or more every day from January 1 to December 31 (This includes books, ebooks and ARCs from authors/publishing companies on Netgalley and more)
*Make new friends (it's hard with social anxiety and autism)
*When it's safe to go to cons and travel again, would love to go back to MTAC and travel to Japan and other places I've never been to like California and more.
* Continue to manage the Reading for Pleasure book club on Goodreads with my other Book Club hosts there.
Those are all I can think of so far. I also hope to complete more series and trilogies off my TBR too like Wolf Hall and more.
I've read some awesome books so far so I'll post a list of my favorite books of 2029 and more book reviews and stuff soon.
Happy reading! ☺️📚

Book Review
The Way of the Sword by Chris Bradford
Started November 26,2020
Finished November 30,2030
Final Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jack Fletcher is back in a brand new adventure. After being adopted by Samurai Warrior Masamoto who runs a Samurai school, Jack tries to fit in and to survive against those who bully and prejudice against him for being different as well as try to master the arts of the Samurai. Will he survive all of the trials set out before him? Read on and find out for yourself.
This is the second installment of the Young Samurai series that I started a few years ago but stopped when I couldn't find any more books at my local library and realized that it wasn't a completed series. Now I have found them at my local ebooks library and with the series now completed, I can continue this series. If you like Samurai, Ninjas, stories about school and surviving, be sure to check out this YA middle grade series out at your local library and wherever books and ebooks are sold.
This is book 113 of 150 of my Goodreads Reading challenge and reading for pleasure goal as well as my final read for November. I'll be starting my December reads shortly so look for more reviews and other reading posts soon. I post all my book reviews on Goodreads too.
Enjoy and happy reading!

At the end of the month I'll be posting my yearly wrap-up for my reading for pleasure challenge with the best reads of the year that I've read this year in 2020. My favorite novels are The Eyes of the dragon by Stephen king, Thief of Always by Clive Barker, the Child Thief by Brom, Born of Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon, the Devouring by Simon holt and more.
