what i enjoyed the most about my CAS experience was the whole creativity branch as it allowed me to pursue my passion and genuinely helped me to relax and have fun. the creativity tasks were the ones I always I wanted to do regardless of whether i have to do them or not. but thanks to the fact that art is my hobby, and the motivation I got from the obligatory posts, I learned new skills and developed my own art style.
the greatest challenge I had to overcome during my CAS experience was probably the CAS project as it required a lot of time and effort. i believe i found a way to overcome it thanks to the fact that it was a group project and together, working as a team, we made the tasks at hand seem more manageable.
apart from the skills I was developing in the activity and creativity branches, through CAS I gained the ability to reflect on the process and truly appreciate it instead of focusing just on the end goal of the journey. after completing CAS, this ability to see value and trusting the process will stay with me and come in handy in the future.
but coming back to the skills i Was working on personally, I can honestly say that I improved at drawing dynamic poses as I usually draw just faces, learned how to draw more masculine people, and create animations. in terms of activity I developed a sense of balance and flexibility as well as strength and discipline.
the learning outcome i found most easy to achieve was LO1 - identifying strengths and weaknesses and areas of personal growth. i’m a person who naturally looks for my own faults and weaknesses but I also like to analyze everything. this learning outcome also helped me to track my progress. the learning outcome that came most difficult for me was the LO4 because i often find it difficult to stay persistent, and keep a habit but because it was the most difficult one for me, it also allowed me to show the biggest growth in this area

this last artistic project i did was this short animation i made for valentines day. i made it using the Procreate art and i really take pride in it because i was never really good with drawing dynamic figures, and interactions and i think i did pretty well with it. i am one step closer to creating a little cartoon animation. lo. 1, 2

it is my aunts birthday in 2 days so i decided to draw her a portrait of her and her husband on holidays. it was a very fun and cartoonish drawing to make and it made me realize the importance of lineart in drawing. to draw it i also used the procreate art app. lo. 1,2

today i once again used The Lake app to draw. this piece took a little more time to make because not only did I explore different color combinations, I also practiced shading and the more abstract way of coloring. I am very proud of this drawing i think it is very vibrant and fairy tale like. lo 1. 2
I went out to the forest for a walk with my dogs to wind down and make a use of the fresh air that i needed so much after a tiring week at school. we made a big circle in the forest on a popular path and went around a local lake. it was a very satisfying walk. lo. 5
similarly to the last time today i practiced my art skills using The Lake app but in contrary to the previous drawing this time i focused more on shading than on unconventional coloring techniques. it definitely taught me to understand the color theory more and how to choose colors to shade and bring the color out. lo.1, 2
today I took part in our weekly Amnesty International school meeting on which we discussed an extremely important matter of the protests in Kazahstan. lo 6.7
because of the lack of time to engage much in my passion for drawing i started using the coloring app called The Lake. it is a brilliant way to play with colors and shading without having to worry about the outline. today i also played with different tools and abstract coloring of the sunset. lo. 1, 2
