I dunno, sometimes it feels much better to have a neutral word to describe a neutral reality rather than being defaulted to "gay" at best and "frigid bitch" at worst

This is awesome news for Season 2. I've always loved Catherine O'Hara and I'm looking forward to her guest appearance.
My theory, and it's only a theory, she might be playing the prophet to The Seraphites.

i'm not really good at posts but i'd like to leave this in memory of Mi'kmaw elder and author Daniel Paul who passed away last month.
his book We Were Not the Savages is an incredibly detailed, researched, and impactful book on Mi'kmaq history, pre- and post-european contact and to the present day, including his personal experiences at the Schubenacadie Indian day school. i really don't have the words to express how important he and this book have been but it's really something to check out.

You know, I won't fault Neil or Craig if they decide to stick with Future Days as Joel and Ellie's song. It's way too iconic for it to not be included in season 2 and its subsequent season(s).
I understand that the song had yet to come out until 2013, but who gives a damn. If someone wants to nitpick that much, then they shouldn't watch the show.

Every time I watch The Last of Us and I see Joel pull out his revolver, my brain goes; "that'll be Ellie's gun one day." Then I end up feeling sad for the rest of the episode.

So, I went on my first solo trip, which was a four hour drive to North Conway, NH. Because I'm a nervous little bean, I decided to play HBO's TLOU podcast with Troy, Neil and Craig.
I never thought hearing Troy Baker's melodic voice, while driving, would lull me into a sense of security. Listening to the podcast actually calmed my nerves. This might sound weird, but it felt like I wasn't alone on my trip.
Thank you, Troy, Neil and Craig for joining me on this journey.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't know how many times we've had to do PAs for patients, and insurances make us jump through hoops just so patients can get their drops so they don't go blind. The joy of insurances being in control of our ability to get proper care. Working in a doctors office has really made me hate insurances in the US.

Not gonna lie. The museum scene will be the death of me. I will likely be balling my eyes out through the entire episode.
My excitement for the second season is astronomical. However, I'm also dreading it at the same time.

Hollywood needs to get their fucking heads out of their asses and pay these writers what they deserve. I don't want to wait until 2026 (exaggerating) to see Bella climb a T-Rex and scream, "Look at me! I'm on a motherfuckin' dinosaur!" Then, do a cannonball into a pool of water off said T-Rex.
Just give them what's rightfully theirs.

A Mantra that the Fireflies had to nix when they first started their revolution.
"When you're lost in the darkness..."
