Mankey and Primeape are known to be angry Pokemon around most of the world. After being introduced in the Koyu region this was no different for a while. One day, however, Primeape discovered static after rubbing its fur against a tree and punching another Primeape. Anger quickly turned into shock, and then into laughter and happiness as the two Primeape continued shocking each other.
Over time more and more Primeape were introduced to static electricity and it got passed down the generations, becoming part of their genes. It's not uncommon for travellers to see electric bolts and laughter while travelling through the forests of Koyu.
Be warned though, the Mankey and Primeape of the Koyu region can still become angry and hot-tempered if provoked.
Both Mankey and Primeape now become Fighting/Electric type and gain some points in the Special Attack stat, while losing some Attack and Special Defense.
Mankey:
Abilities: Static, Vital Spirit, Anger Point (HA)
Stats:
HP - 40
ATK - 70
DEF - 35
SP. ATK - 55
SP. DEF - 35
SPD - 70
TOTAL - 305
Primeape:
Abilities: Static, Vital Spirit, Anger Point (HA)
Stats:

SP. ATK - 80

Snorunt of the Alola region have removed their winter cloak and replaced it with a fresh summer coat. This new cloak allows much more air to get through allowing Snorunt to keep a little bit cooler in the Alolan heat.
Glalie adapted to the Alolan heat and now live in the jungles. The people of Alola fear Glalie and consider it to be a bad omen if you see one. There are many stories about the bad luck that Glalie brings circling the Alola region, yet very few of them are proven to be true.
Type: Ice
The Alolan Diglett like the ground of the snowy mountains in Alola. They find it easy to dig through the soft snow. Their heads have become more pointed to ease digging through the hard ground beneath the snow.
Type: Ice/Rock
Height: 7.0m (22'9")
Dugtrio in Alola are known as the moving mountains. Their large size makes them move slower and keeps them above ground a lot of the time rather than underground. They are still capable of travelling underground and then reappearing in a different location, which gives them the name of the moving mountains in the Alola region.
Alolan Dugtrio lose some speed but gain Defense.
After Jynx migrated into the Alola region, many of them retreated to the snowy mountains on the Southern Island. The Jynx that couldn't travel back to the cold regions adapted to the Alolan lifestyle, partaking in traditional dances alongside Bellossom and getting used to the tropical heat of the region.
Jynx have become a big part of the Alolan culture and many tourists visit the region to see the Jynx dance.
Stat distribution would likely stay the same since regular Jynx already have a high speed and special attack, and this version isn’t defensive.
Picture Of The Region Specific Zootopia Characters
A few posts have been floating around indicating that Zootopia has a region specific reporter on the Zootopia news (ZNN). In the USA and Canada it’s a moose, but you might not have realized that the character changes if you’re in a different part of the world. This is the first picture I’ve seen showing (maybe) all of the different versions of the character.
Disney animator, Daniel Gonzales tweeted this image out today, saying: “FUN FACT: depending on your country.. you get a different character in your #Zootopia movie!”
