Quotes and thoughts on Titus 2 biblical womanhood
Titus 2: 3-5, 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, [1] not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, [2] to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Going home to where I've never been before
Around three weeks from now, my family and I will be making the journey to our new home in Kentucky. This is an answer to many long years of prayers. Not one prayer for one thing but many prayers for many aspects of our lives. In one answer, God answers all. My son, Tristan, has been called as the first student under the elders of New Hope Reformed Church in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. They have…

How feminism and women's suffrage undermine and attack biblical manhood
Feminism and women’s suffrage were and are a direct assault on biblical manhood. They evolved hand-in-glove. They are part and parcel of one another and one cannot exist without another. Of course, most of us realize this but not everyone realizes the immense damage caused by them or that they were a direct assault on manhood and a man’s God-given command to lead and provide for his own family.…

YouTube Videos on Head Covering
Below are YouTube videos on head covering. These YouTube videos on head covering are all from sound men in the faith such as Brian Sauvé, Carlton McCleod, Joel Webborn, R.C. Sproul, and several others. I have watched them all and I believe that these videos are an important tool in our attempt to understand 1 Corinthians 11: 2-16. Soli Deo Gloria! A collection of sermons about head covering sermons
Sermons concerning head covering Study to show thyself approved Scripture tells us to be like the Bereans who examined Scripture daily to make sure that what they were being taught was actually what God’s Word said (Acts 17: 11). In 2 Timothy 2: 15, God commands us to “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of…

A collection of quotes, etc
Justin Dewayne Parker When a man becomes Batman, it’s not because he has a desire to become Batman; it’s because he genuinely desires to create a better future for Gotham, and he eventually becomes Batman by default and as a necessity. It just sort of happens— the people of Gotham unofficially appoint him as The Batman— and when it does happen, the man leans into the role. He often does so…

Merry Christmas, y'all and a prayer request and family update
Merry Christmas, y’all. God surely is gracious, isn’t He? This year has been one of tremendous ups and downs. My heart has broken a thousand times this year as some of my children denied their faith. I beg your prayers for them. However, in midst of such pain, the Lord has reconciled a daughter and myself. This is such a huge thing, something I’d prayed for for so many years. She’s a Christian…

Growing into beautiful Titus 2 womanhood
Titus 2, 3-5, The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Do we really believe in Sola Scriptura?
I believe in Sola Scriptura. I stand on it theologically in everything. Sola Scriptura literally means Scripture alone, meaning that Scripture alone is our authority.
Why does Sola Scriptura matter to biblical womanhood? Because without the authority of Scripture, there is no case for biblical womanhood. No Titus 2: 3-5. No Proverbs 31 woman.  Without Sola Scriptura, we have nothing. I stand on Sola Scriptura. I stand on it theologically in everything. Sola Scriptura literally means Scripture alone, meaning that Scripture alone is our authority. I’m a Titus 2…

Our Etsy shop is off vacation mode and back active again
Hey y’all, my daughter and I have an Etsy shop, Reformation Wares. We put it on vacation mode a bit over a week ago due to tight finances; we have to pay the initial charges out of our bank account and then we are reimbursed. We simply didn’t have it. I noticed where several of my readers had recently visited the shop; I’m truly sorry for the trouble. But it’s back active and we have a sale going…

Marley and His Message to Scrooge by R.C. Sproul
Bah! Humbug!” These two words are instantly associated with Charles Dickens’ immortal fictional anti-hero, Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge was the prototype of the Grinch who stole Christmas, the paradigm of all men cynical. We all recognize that Ebenezer Scrooge was a mean person – stingy, insensitive, selfish, and unkind. What we often miss in our understanding of his character is that he was…

The world does not admire us for our compromise
Sisters, the world doesn’t admire our compromise when we step over the line drawn by God’s Word, embrace sin, and betray our Lord. They aren’t applauding us for failing to obey God and looking and acting like every one around us. No, they are looking at us, laughing, and secretly applauding the fact that we are gullible enough to be so foolish by betraying that which we claim to believe. We’re…

Remembering the poor and lonely at Thanksgiving
When I was little, I would always beg my mother to cook us a turkey at Thanksgiving. She’d always say, “Oh, honey, that would be a waste since it’s just the two of us”. No amount of begging, no mention of what she could do with leftovers swayed her. It was a chicken and dressing casserole for us, each and every Thanksgiving Day. To be honest, there probably wasn’t enough money in our budget for…

Sisters, are you really believing God's Word?
Sisters, are you really believing God's Word? Do you take all that the Lord says to you seriously and believe every word of it?
Sisters, are you really believing God’s Word? Do you take all that the Lord says to you seriously and believe every word of it? Do you do so even when it challenges your convictions? We ought to. Galatians 6: 7-8, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the…

"Why can't I?" is the wrong question
“Why can’t I?” is the wrong question, sisters. As Christian women, it’s important that we ask the correct theological questions. Sadly, many of us don’t. Too many women define their Christianity by the culture rather than the fullness of Scripture. But to do so makes us become unfruitful because we have become unfaithful. Elisabeth Elliot once said that the fact that she was a woman didn’t make…
