Could we just be specific about what is mixed especially in food marketed to people with allergies?

Disability is not a punishment, but I think the world would be genuinely improved if every person involved in writing or regulating ingredient labels was mysteriously inflicted with at least one food allergy falling under each of the following categories: "natural flavors," "modified food starch," "artificial flavors," "spices," and "color." Down with ingredient labels so vague that they defeat the entire fucking point.

Hey, if you’re not as mentally quick as you used to be because of your illness- that’s okay. If you’re can’t think as fast or handle as many tasks that’s okay. You aren’t stupid, you aren’t unintelligent, and you aren’t less worthy of love or respect. It’s okay that your brain won’t or can’t go back to how it used to be. It’s different now, but it’s okay.

Ok i know in my previous post i said it would be the last thing about the matter, but this got me annoyed...

Buck's character did not get introduced stealing engines to date and fuck and then get yelled, for people who only watched season 7 ahead to say Oliver wanting Buck to explore his sexuality is biphobic because it "will make bi people look bad due "promiscous" steriotypes"

First of all... the fact y'all think bi people can't hook up around and explore because it makes them look bad is actually what should concern y'all.

Second, coming from people that resume Buck's bisexuality to his relationship with Tommy and are on the "Bi Buck is gone" train this is ironic and very biphobic way of show concern towards biphobia.

Third and last... Buck was always was a fuckboy, it was literally a gag for the team in S1, so that won't change because he is queer???

Eddie: I’m having a phantom pregnancy

Buck: wtf

Hen: there is no way that is true mustache man

Eddie: yeah, doctor said I might produce milk

Hen: Jesus Christ

Chim: did you accept baked goods from someone you met on a call again?

Buck: if you make milk can we drink it?

Hen: STOP

Buck: what, it’s not like he’ll have a baby to feed

Eddie: he has a point

Chim: that’s disgusting

Buck: not if you think about it

Eddie: you can have my milk

Hen: I’m not having anyone’s milk

Buck: so it’s okay for me to drink cow’s milk but if I wanna drink my friend’s milk I’m disgusting?

Eddie: we’ll just put it in a cup

Honestly, the fact that I didn't fall into the 911 fandom sooner is astonishing. Somehow never even heard of it until this season??? And I didn't even decide to start watching for the queer stuff! I decided to start watching when I saw the teasers about the cruise ship arc! The queer stuff was a bonus.

Anywho. As soon as I heard "Let it Burn" by Jared Benjamin I HAD to do some Buck fanart inspired by it. Really thrilled with how it turned out. Matches what I had in my head perfectly. All told this took about 28 hours. (1 hour of which was fighting with Premiere Pro to get it to export properly and not end up a glitchy mess. So sick of Adobe programs.)

I'll upload all the individual pieces later when I no longer feel the urge to chuck my computer out the window.

Ok so I’m gonna go through this scene cause some people need it but also cause I really love it so here we go:

Tommy asks if Bobby is okay, and Buck gives him an update (a positive one thank goodness)

Tommy makes a joke about how the 118 should have their own dedicated wing at the hospital (which is so true of him to say), but it’s obvious Buck is not feeling it

Tommy notices, and asks if Bucks okay, in which Buck opens up about how Bobby is more of a dad to him than his own father

This leads to Tommy opening up about his own dad (Tommy lore!!!) and how Gerrard was not an improvement whatsoever (obviously) (also that’s really depressing. Buck you better cuddle with this man rn)

Then Buck starts the iconic part of the conversation, “So maybe we both have daddy issues.” If you’ve paid attention to Buck at all during this show, it’s very obvious that by the tone of his voice and the look in his eyes/face that he’s flirting

And of course we all know the rest, with Tommy returning Bucks flirty energy - “I don’t.” “But you think I do?” “God, I hope so.” Which first of all, Tommy’s voice for the “god, I hope so” has me going insane and if I was Buck I would’ve passed out, and second of all, Buck’s “but you think I do” is very much him still being flirty and trying to get a reaction from Tommy (and he succeeds)

And that’s the end of the scene, where Buck and Tommy are both pleased with the direction their conversation went

For such a short scene, I love how much we got out of them. And for such a short scene, it’s insane how much backlash it’s getting by certain people. Somehow people are saying that Tommy made the conversation sexual right after Buck was vulnerable about his dad, and how that’s messed up, but that’s literally not what happened? If anything, BUCK is the one that made the conversation sexual after Tommy was vulnerable. And you know what? That’s completely okay, because they’re grown adults and have the capability of changing the vibe of a conversation. If Tommy didn’t like the direction Buck was going, he would have stopped it from going further. But he didn’t. Because again, they’re two grown men. Dang I didn’t really mean to go on a rant, but I’m so tired of the horrible takes of this scene. I’m glad that all the people I’m following are also loving this scene and Tommy and bucktommy (though I guess kinkley works better now huh)
