sculpture that eats by giovanni anselmo sucks not because of the societal degradation wreaked by modern art or whatever haters say but because the sculpture doesnt eat enough. nd the sculpture does not excrete. if i made sculpture that eats it would be a similar granite block but instead of lettuce tied to the front it would have a hole. and when visitors come to the museum they can buy a piece of fruit or a leaf of lettuce or a dog treat for 5¢ like a petting zoo and they stand in line and they drop their piece of food in its mouth (they can pet the sculpture too but be gentle.) . inside the sculpture is a long granite tube which goes through the floor of the museum into a massive granite holding chamber with no entrances or exits. as weeks go by the food that visitors have been dropping in begins to rot. flies buzz around the sculptures mouth. visitors continue to visit and drop food in. the stench begins to fill the room. the sculpture is sick. visitors must wear masks in the sculpture’s sickroom. they continue to feed it. eventually the holding chamber is full. food begins to crawl up the granite tube with each fresh addition atop the putrefying pile. they continue to feed it. food overflows from the sculptures mouth. for a time they can still feed it. they reach their arms in and compress the food with their hands. after a time they can’t compress it anymore. they continue to feed it. apples and radishes and raw shrimp are lain before the sculpture. this rots quicker than the food inside, without the cold protective granite. they continue to feed it. the sculpture is covered in a mound of food in a perfect gradient from black liquefied rot at the bottom to beautiful shining red steaks and green kale at the top. you can still pet the sculpture. be gentle, it’s sick

Opposite of "came back wrong" is "stayed exactly the same." Oh you want so badly to pretend that you have changed. You changed your face, you changed your name, you started leaning into a whole new role, but I know you. I know you. I know who you used to be, and I can see that person shining through you still. You can fool the world you can fool your friends you can fool yourself but you will not fool me.

When bucks fight over a deer and their antlers get tied together and they die together over it that’s. The level of morbid homoeroticism I’m trying to experience

i'm literally the priest's favorite sacrificial lamb because i am so docile and sweet and i hold very still when they put the rope around my neck and i trot along so happily while they lead me to the altar and they do not even have to tie me down because i lie so very still and only bleat once or twice in my lovely lamb voice and when the knife comes down it cuts through me like butter and i offer no resistance and i bleed so prettily all over my new white wool and my guts all unspool like the most beautiful shining yarn and my eyes are animal and dumb and hold no accusation and every time i die i come right back as another little lamb because the priest loves me so so much and he always chooses me for the sacrifice every time and he always places one hand on my small and twitching nose to calm me while he lifts the knife and he doesn't do it for the other lambs only me because i'm his favorite

ultimately I find myself at peace bc I know in my heart of hearts, I don’t want a love that can look at me and say “there is something more important than you in my life that I am willing to sacrifice your presence in my day over”. I want an Epic; I want something that gets whispered about in books I won’t be around to read. I want the true meaning of healthy obsession. And so; may anything other than that be like cotton candy in the rain.
