Genesis Lyrics - We Are The Rothschilds
We once hid in shadows Now stand in the light Family name renowned We own the night
Echoes of the past History never dies With guitars and drums We break the skies
We are the Rothschilds Living in the now Legends of the ages We take a bow
We write our own tunes Rewrite old tales Ancestors would cheer Hear our music wail
No more whispers No more disguise We stand tall In your eyes
From the hidden To the stage Sing these lines Turn the page....

Kepler: The Astronomer Science and Family
In 1609, Johannes Kepler forever changed our understanding of the universe with his discovery of elliptical orbits. His laws of planetary motion not only transformed astronomy but also laid the groundwork for Isaac Newton’s law of gravity. Yet, Kepler’s achievements weren’t just scientific—he faced intense personal struggles at the same time.
From 1615 to 1621, while revolutionizing science, Kepler fought to save his mother, Katharina, from a witchcraft trial. For six years, Kepler used his legal knowledge to defend her, ultimately securing her release. This was a battle of both science and survival.

Galileo's Telescope Spots a Revolution
In 1609, at age 45, Galileo Galilei became the first person to use a telescope for astronomical purposes, transforming our understanding of the cosmos. His discoveries, including moons orbiting Jupiter and the phases of Venus, directly challenged the idea that everything revolves around Earth. In 1610, Galileo named the moons of Jupiter the Medicean Stars to honor his patrons, the powerful Medici family. He shared his groundbreaking findings with scholars and influential figures, including members of the Venetian Senate. By 1611, Galileo had gained further recognition, becoming a member of the Accademia dei Lincei, allowing him to widely share his work. However, his open support for Copernicus’s heliocentric model brought him into conflict with the Catholic Church. Despite being warned in 1616 to stop spreading these ideas, Galileo persisted and published Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems in 1632. The following year, in 1633, Galileo was tried for heresy by the Roman Catholic Inquisition, forced to recant, and placed under house arrest for the last nine years of his life, until his death in 1642. In Part 6, we’ll dive into the life of Johannes Kepler, exploring both his groundbreaking contributions to astronomy and his personal battle to save his mother’s life.

Giordano Bruno's Finite Fate: Ideas Worth Dying For (Part 4) On February 17, 1600, Giordano Bruno was executed in Rome for his revolutionary ideas. Bruno’s belief in an infinite universe and countless worlds challenged the Catholic Church’s cosmology. His ideas, deeply rooted in Neoplatonism and Hermeticism, also questioned key Church doctrines like the Trinity and transubstantiation. Arrested in 1592 after being betrayed by Giovanni Mocenigo, Bruno spent seven years imprisoned by the Roman Inquisition. Despite pressure, he refused to recant his ideas, leading to his execution by burning in the Campo de' Fiori. His death stands as a powerful symbol of the cost of intellectual freedom in the face of orthodoxy.

The Hidden Music of the Bible: King Solomon's Song of Songs
The Torah's musical notations were decoded back in 1976. Suzanne Haïk-Vantoura, a French organist, musicologist, and composer, spent nearly 30 years working on solving the meaning of the Masoretic text's annotations. She proposed that the cantillation marks in the Hebrew Bible (the Masoretic text) were actually musical notations, and she developed a system to interpret these ancient symbols as musical notes. Her work has sparked discussions on how ancient Hebrews might have sung or chanted the scriptures.
