Thank you for the response! The FAQ is nice too, now I got a lot of writing to do! But I got a question/problem with the part "How do I get my work to be part of this collection?"

In the option 1 it's say that if I scroll into my work there will be "Invite to Collections" option next to the bookmark and kudos. But I don't have it. The only other thing that I can think of, is the "Post to Collections / Challenges" when you post/edit a work. But maybe I didn't undertsand and this is where I need to write "Turning_FanWeek_2024"?

That's because I had an error in the order of my guide, my bad. The invite option will only appear if the author of the fanfiction has agreed to have their works being invited to collections.

You can also invite your work into the collection while publishing it.

I made a quick visual guide, just in case:

What you absolutely need to do:

Option 1: After publishing your fic

Option 2: While publishing your fic

Option 3: Wait for an invite

After publishing your fic, you'll have to wait for me to send you an invite. It'll appear like this:

To have your work as a bookmark in the collection

You don't have to do anything beyond indicate somewhere that your fic is for the Fanweek. Preferably, you would use "Turning Fanweek 2024" as a tag, but you don't have to.

My apologies for the confusion! ao3 changed the settings a lot since the last time I had to make a guide like this.

Hello, I just seen the Turning FanWeek through someone else reblog (It didn't appear in the tags?) and I want to participate but I never did a FanWeek before and I don't know how it work at all ^^'

I see a lot of "theme" for each day, do I need to choose one and go with it? Do I need to include the quote or is this here only for the aesthetic? Why are some purple? What the difference?

I've got a lot of questions, sorry if I come out too strong, but I will be really thankful for the responses (o^ ^o)

The post didn’t appear in the tags because my blog was flagged at the time (might still be, actually…). The fan week was originally limited to the discord server, which is why there’s limited information out here.

The idea of a fan week is to fill a prompt of your choosing for each day. You might have heard of inktober or whumptober before - it’s similar. More information on all of this is provided in the FAQ (link).

You can combine the prompts if you want, but you don’t have to.

The quotes are prompts as well. In total, there are 5 prompts for each day (it’s a lot, I know), so you should have plenty of options. You can interpret them however you want.

The words in purple are the NSFW prompts. Of course, you can also interpret them in a SFW way.

Hopefully that cleared things up! If not, feel free to send another ask.

The goal is to have fun, so don’t worry too much! ^^

I’ve recently torn my way through all of your sctir fics and the promise of getting to read your turning fics alone have already pushed me 50 chapters deep into Turning I owe you my life 🙏🙏🙏

The thing with niche fandoms is that, even when you see the numbers rise up, it doesn’t feel real while there’s no interaction with actual words. The story already exists in my head and doesn’t need to be written out, so my only reason to write is to share that story… which means, even when I really love the fandom, it just feels discouraging to feel like I’m talking in the void.

So I really appreciate any and all messages & comments :]

As the Cavalry is recuperating after their mission in Tainu, trouble arises when one of their own attacks the Commander. When it turns out that the real perpetrator is not the one they expect, the situation only worsens.

For Yuder, the image of Kishiar stabbed by one of his subordinates lingers in his mind, reminding him of a past no one but him remembers…

But surely, history will not repeat itself. Will it?
