Jan 14th 2023 There is a small interlude in my usual studying this week as I decided to do the pre-assignment for another design school as practice. In addition to working on the assignment, I have ˑ Continued my JavaScript daily practice and review. ˑ Started learning Latin on Duolingo for fun. ˑ Attended three different exercise classes at the gym. 💪.
Now I just need to steady my course and stay focused on the goal.

Jan 6th 2023 ˑ I studied and completed the Conditionals module of the syllabus on my JavaScript self-study course. ˑ I started brushing up on my foundational math. ˑ I'm taking a yin-yoga class later tonight to release some of the tension in my body.
Wishing you all a wonderful and peaceful weekend 🌿

Today, I ˑ Submitted an assignment for review and completed 25% of one of my self-study courses. ˑ Submitted a short assignment for another self-study course. ˑ Worked on the draft for my motivation letter. ˑ E-mailed the admissions office to ask when the pre-assignments will be published. (In approx. 1,5 weeks!) ˑ Wrote and sent a joke in code to one of my friends, who asked me how I was doing. I then had a snack and realized how I could have made the code prettier during said snack. 👩‍💻

It has been 3 years and 7 months since I last posted.
Since then, I have
· Completed my MFA course and graduated.
· Recognised that I am not done studying.
· Decided to apply to design school this spring.
I think I need a place to aestheticise the journey, so here's hoping this place will keep me on track again. I guess this means I'm back!

One of the things that must be a part of art, now that artists are multimedia and art is so simultaneous it’s hard to stay on a problem, is to form one’s own problem and have tenacity.

One of the things I miss about going to uni in Brighton is spying on my neighbour’s cat.

I was feeling a bit apathetic about my MFA course when I found out my classes don’t begin until mid-February. I checked out some of the course books and now I’ve been familiarising myself with the material in the good company of my houseplants.

The first week of my MFA course has been so intense that I’ve bought three new succulents as a coping mechanism.

I ended up liking the Hobonichi Techo planner so much this year that I got one for 2019 as well!

I’m dyslexic with difficulties in phonological and visual processing speed and auditory/working memory.
I thought it might be good to make a visual of the essays I wrote during my BA studies at uni to remind me that this will not be an impediment to my academic success when I begin my MFA in January 2019.

I was offered a place on the MFA course at the Academy of Fine Arts I applied to!
It’s a two year course that offers my specialism! In my hometown! And it’s tuition free!! Aaaaaaaa!!!
So I guess this is technically a gradblr now?

Okay so I had my MFA interview and
for the first time in a really long time I have no idea whether I was a good or average interviewee. They certainly seemed concerned that I wasn’t open enough to critique and change in my art practice, but I can now only wait until next week when the results come in!
